Daisha Hunter is a renaissance woman of media, entertainment, and Hip Hop scenes in Tokyo. She lived in Japan from 2006-2015 and "DaiWu" returned to celebrate her 36th Chamber Year and love of the WuTang Clan with her Japan Family. She was the first Black female DJ in Tokyo starting from a hobby and love of Baltimore Club Music and D.C. Go-Go. She then turned her access of Japanese clubs into an opportunity for artists, DJs, and brands to perform and produce. After launching her company ENTokyo, Daisha developed and hosted some of the earliest music performance events bringing together Japanese and expats whose networks still exist today. From marketing campaigns, brand activations, event production, Japanese Hip Hop touring DJ, creating the foodie hashtag #FatnessFirst, and being the self proclaimed Black Ambassador of Tokyo - her efforts to unite the foreigner, Japanese, and military communities in entertainment continue to succeed her time in Japan.
