Hello to you listening in Charlottesville, Virginia! Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday and your host, Diane Wyzga. Here's the thing: I've hit The Dip. That place in most creative endeavors where you look around and wonder: Does anybody care? Does my work matter? What am I doing and for whom? Believe it or not, The Dip is a precious time. Now you get to dig deep and consider what's it for, who's it for, where is it needed? Not everyone wants or needs what you have to offer; but someone does! Lots of someones. Some years ago I was working as a shepherd at a fiber farm on the outskirts of Charlottesville, Virginia. Our neighbor raised organic goats for meat. Joe sold the meat to customers from the D.C Beltway area who knew a good thing and were happy to pay for it. But Joe wanted more. He was ready to venture out and teach people about the value of eating what he raised: organic food, sustainable, humanely harvested, no junk, and lots of pasture to graze. But where to go? He fixes up an old school bus as a traveling kitchen and visits each and every state and local fair in Virginia. Why? People go to fairs to eat food! But not his food. Fairs offer a lot of cheap fried food: onion blossoms, corn dogs, curly cut fries. Joe is offering 3 items: organic goat kabobs, organic goat curry and an organic goat skillet burger with all the fixins. While his prices are in keeping with what he's trying to sell, they are several times more than the competition at the fair. The food is foreign. No one will eat it except on a dare. Now what? Instead of lowering his prices or changing venues Joe decides to dig in and work on changing attitudes and appetites. At each fairgrounds he stands outside the mobile kitchen and shares his story: why goats, where they are pastured, who takes care of them, how they live, what makes this meat special, and why it's worth it. He prints up a flyer with his story and hands that out, too. Person by person the story draws them in, the goat meat dinners keep them there. It took time but he believed in what he was doing and for whom he was doing it. If this is you here's a tip from Joe:  “Some will. Some won't. Who's next?” As I repeat Joe's words I'm working my way out of The Dip. “Come for the stories; stay for the magic!”   CTA: If you want the story that will change minds, attitudes, behaviors, let's work together.  You're always welcome: "Come for the stories - Stay for the magic!" A tumultuous week for Britain's faltering rearmament plans sees Defence Secretary John Healey resign from Keir Starmer's cabinet, saying the prime minister and the Treasury lack the will to properly fund the defence of the nation. Al Carns, the armed forces minister, also resigned saying the government's long-awaited Defence Investment Plan (DIP) was 'not built for the threat we face'. The departures raise further questions over whether the DIP can address the costs and trade-offs involved in strengthening UK defence. Meanwhile, European leaders struggle to coordinate their own rearmament amid concerns that America will withdraw from the defence of the continent. Bronwen Maddox looks at the defence predicament in the UK and Europe, with UK in the World Programme director Olivia O'Sullivan, and International Security Programme director Marion Messmer. Here's the uncomfortable truth: forgiveness isn't primarily for the other person… it's for you. (Ugh, we know.) This week we explore what it might mean to stop letting a past wound have the final word over your present life.   LINKS: Book of Forgiving  |  Connect  |  YouTube  |  Coming Up TRANSCRIPT:   Retell from Freya's perspective — what was she feeling as Wally spoke? Name those feelings out loud and mark a stone with washable marker for each one as you name them: Angry. (mark) Sad. (mark) Embarrassed. (mark) Lonely. (mark) "Look at this stone now. Pretty marked up. That's what it looks like when we've been carrying a lot." Watch the video — Freya bringing Wally back, returning him to their community. Unpack: What did Freya choose? She didn't pretend it didn't happen. She didn't say it was okay. But she chose something — and whatever she chose, it changed things. We're going to do something with these stones in a little while. Hold onto yours. Hand out stones and washable markers to kids. Send them back to seats to mark up their stones and work on kids Sunday Papers. Adults — I want to talk to you now. But kids, you're welcome to listen in! Where We've Been Brief catch-up for anyone new or returning: We're in The Book of Forgiving — drawing from Desmond and Mpho Tutu's framework for how forgiveness actually works. The Fourfold Path: Tell the Story → Name the Hurt → Grant Forgiveness → Renew or Release the Relationship. In the first week: We told our stories. Last week: We named the hurt: the feelings underneath the facts. Today: we take the hardest step. We talk about what it actually means to grant forgiveness. The Uncomfortable Truth Here's where we have to say something that cuts against almost everything our culture tells us about forgiveness: Forgiveness is not primarily for the other person. It's FOR YOU. (ugh, I know.) That feels wrong at first. It can even feel like a betrayal of the seriousness of what was done. If I forgive, doesn't that let them off the hook? No. And we'll come back to that. But first… someone wise once put it this way: "Forgiveness is the act of giving up all hope of a better past." Sit with that for a second. Forgiveness isn't giving up on justice. Or saying that what happened was okay. Its not pretending it didn't happen. But instead, forgiveness is releasing the white-knuckled grip on the belief (conscious or not) that somehow, if we hold on tight enough, stay angry enough, rehearse it enough, the past will change. It won't. And the holding on costs us. What the Holding Costs Us This isn't just spiritual intuition. There's reliable research proving it. When we hold onto unresolved hurt— ruminating, replaying, rehearsing— our bodies respond as if the threat is still happening. Cortisol stays elevated. The nervous system stays on alert. Over time this contributes to measurable increases in anxiety, depression, cardiovascular stress, and immune suppression, among other truly serious health issues. We are not built to carry this indefinitely. The body keeps the score, and it charges interest. If we want to “make America healthy again,” it turns out denial just isn't actually gonna do it. Developing cultural practices around forgiving and healing, though? That's the ticket. The Tutus frame the alternative this way: in the Revenge Cycle, we reject our pain and try to make it go away by hurting the person who hurt us. In the Forgiveness Cycle, we face our pain. We don't deny it or minimize it. And we choose to move toward healing instead. The Tutus: "In the Revenge Cycle, we reject our pain and suffering and believe that by hurting the person who hurt us our pain will go away." It doesn't. It never has. It simply multiplies…  There's all sorts of bumper sticker opportunities here: “hurt people hurt people” The trap: waiting to forgive until the other person apologizes. They may never. They might not even know or appreciate what they did. They may never. But if your freedom is contingent on their remorse, they hold a lot of unearned power over you. It lives rent-free in your head. What Forgiveness is Not… Clearing the Ground Again Because this step gets misused more than any other, it's worth naming clearly what granting forgiveness does NOT mean (this is a real “sorry not sorry” moment for repeating this pretty much every week, but we're untangling a real knot here): It does not mean what was done to you was okay. It does not mean you forget. It does not mean you reconcile. (Forgiveness and reconciliation are separate acts — we'll talk about that next week.) It does not mean the other person deserves it or has earned it. It does not mean you have to tell them. The Tutus: "Forgiveness is a choice. Forgiving is how we move from victim to hero in our own story."  And honestly, I love being the hero of my own story, but when it comes to pain, I don't need to be a hero, I just want agency… And this is key: you can pursue justice and forgiveness at the same time. One does not cancel the other. You can hold someone accountable AND release the stranglehold their actions have on your inner life. These are not in competition. It's not one or the other. GRANTING FORGIVENESS… WHAT IT ACTUALLY IS So what IS it then? At its core, the Tutus describe granting forgiveness as an act of RECLAIMING YOUR HUMANITY— and in doing so, recognizing the humanity of the person who hurt you. Not excusing them. Not elevating them. But refusing to reduce either of you to the worst moment between you. This is where the Tutu framework gets genuinely hard. Because recognizing the humanity of someone who hurt you; someone who may have done something terrible… it can feel like a betrayal. But here's what Desmond Tutu learned in the shadow of apartheid, sitting across from perpetrators of atrocity: to call someone a monster is actually to let them OFF THE HOOK. Monsters can't help what they do. Humans can. Naming someone's humanity–  their capacity to choose, and to have chosen badly— is what makes them accountable. And it's what releases you from defining yourself by what they did. The Tutus write: "We know we are healing when we are able to tell a new story." Not a story in which the wound never happened. A story in which the wound is no longer the main character. This is what it looks like in practice: You stop organizing your life around the person who hurt you. You stop letting their actions have veto power over your contentment or joy, your relationships, or your sense of self. You begin— slowly, imperfectly— to live forward instead of backward. It starts feeling less like a feeling and more like a direction. You turn your face toward something other than the wound. Again. And again. That's the practice. Kids Back Up to Close Invite kids back up… talk about those marks on stones. Forgiveness is the process of remembering that “I am not the things that happened to me.” I am not this mark… or that mark…” Those things hurt, and I have feelings about the person that did that thing to me… but I'm going to choose to be confident in who I am, how I treat others, and I get to make choices about my own self… that person doesn't get to make decisions about me for me.” Dip stones in water.  We'll talk more about what happens in our relationships next week, and we'll learn about how Wally & Freya figured that out for themselves and their community of friends. Closing Invitation Now we do something together. "If you've been marking up your stone — kids, adults, anyone — I want to invite you to come forward in a moment and dip it in the water." Brief explanation of what this means and doesn't mean: "This isn't a magic trick. Dipping your stone doesn't mean you're over it. It doesn't mean what happened was okay. It doesn't mean you've completed something." "It's a gesture. A small act of intention. You're saying: I don't want to be defined by this forever. I want to begin to get free." "The Tutus write that we wash the stone — and it's a cleansing, not an erasing. The stone is still the stone. You are still you. But something has been released." Invite people forward — quietly, no pressure, in their own time — to dip their stones in water. Let the room breathe. Music underneath if possible. Closing Next week: reconciliation. What does it actually look like to renew or release a relationship? What's required? What's possible? Come back. A simple benediction: You are more than what was done to you. Go live like it.

Kate Assaraf is the CEO and founder of dip sustainable, a plastic-free haircare brand she launched in 2021 that hit seven figures within 18 months without running a single paid ad. Before starting dip, she spent 20 years inside the beauty industry, long enough to see the deceptive marketing practices that eventually pushed her to build something completely different. Most DTC beauty brands launch with paid social, influencer seeding, and a race to acquire customers fast. Kate did the opposite. She cold-called refill stores, traveled across the country to meet sustainable retailers face to face, and built distribution through brick-and-mortar before she ever thought about digital advertising. Today, dip is carried in all 50 states and has sold over 300,000 bars by word of mouth alone. The conversation covers why Kate chose physical retail over digital-first, how she thinks about authentic customer marketing in a category overrun by sponsored content and AI-generated testimonials, and why she built her own factory after her contract manufacturer went bankrupt. That last decision, vertically integrating manufacturing and fulfillment under one roof, turned out to be the most consequential call she made as a founder.Kate also takes on the sustainability conversation directly, pushing back on the moralizing that she believes drives people away from the movement rather than toward it. Her version of sustainability is inclusive, economics-driven, and grounded in saving customers money, not lecturing them. She explains why the dip conditioner bar, at $32 and lasting close to a year, is a stronger pitch than the environmental argument alone.Founders in CPG, beauty, and retail will come away with a rare perspective: what it actually looks like to build a consumer brand slowly, deliberately, and without the typical playbook.Website: https://www.vimmi.netEmail us: info@vimmi.netPodcast website: https://vimmi.net/commerce-untold/Eitan Koter's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/eitankoter/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@VimmiVideoCommerce/featuredGuest: Kate Assaraf, CEO & Founder, dip sustainableKate Assaraf's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kate-assaraf-b25a741a7dip sustainable: https://dipalready.comWatch the full Youtube video here:https://youtu.be/c9hCsejvcX8Key Takeaways:• Seven figures in 18 months, zero paid ads. At the end of the weekend, do you find yourself asking, “Where did the time go?!” Does an endless list of tasks leave you feeling like all you do is work? What if we could reframe the way we spend our time and view it through the lens of self-care? There's no denying that laundry and meal prep can seem like drudgery, but these tasks are also necessary to be fully functioning and independent humans. Caring for oneself often involves unglamorous work, but it can be sacred if we shift our perspective. We can also find the magic in short increments of time by meeting them with intention. On every trip to Bali I look forward to eating pisang goreng, aka banana fritters. Nearly every menu features this popular street snack, but the best place to buy them is at a roadside cart that starts setting up late afternoon. They're easy to make at home and dirt cheap. Serves 4 Ingredients 1/3 cup rice flour 2 tbsps tapioca flour or cornflour ¼ tsp baking powder 2 tsp palm sugar or brown sugar ¼ tsp salt ½ cup water Oil for frying 3 bananas Honey, ice cream, cinnamon, sugar, etc to serve Method Mix dry ingredients with enough of the water until you have a thin batter. Let it rest for a minute while you get the oil hot, as it will thicken a bit more. Heat oil in a small pot – aim for about 5cm depth. Cut the bananas on the bias, each into about 4-5 pieces. Fry in small batches. Dip each slice to fully cover in batter, letting any excess drain off, and then carefully lower it into the hot oil. Do a few at a time. Turn once golden and fry until crispy and fully golden on both sides. Drain on a wire rack. They will stay piping hot as you cook the rest. Serve on their own or with a drizzle of honey, a dusting of cinnamon and sugar, and or some ice cream. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this solo episode of Referrals Done Right, Scott tackles one of the hardest but most important questions people face in business and life. How do you know when it is time to pivot? While persistence and discipline are often praised as the keys to success, Scott explains that there is a major difference between pushing through a meaningful challenge and staying trapped in something that no longer aligns with who you are becoming. Drawing inspiration from Seth Godin's concept of “The Dip,” he explores the tension between resilience and the wisdom required to recognize when a path has become a dead endThroughout the episode, Scott breaks down three major signs that it may be time to make a change. From internal misalignment and changing industries to fear disguised as loyalty or discipline, he challenges listeners to honestly evaluate whether they are still growing or simply holding on because change feels uncomfortable. This episode is a thoughtful and powerful reminder that some of the greatest growth in life comes not from avoiding uncertainty, but from having the courage to step into it intentionally. You Will Learn:• How to recognize the difference between a temporary “dip” and a true dead end• Why success on paper does not always equal fulfillment internally• The importance of adapting when industries and environments evolve• How fear can keep people stuck long after they know change is necessary• Why some of the best opportunities in life begin after letting go of old identities---Scott Grates' Links:Referrals Done Right - https://www.referralsdoneright.orgReferrals Done Right FB Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/296359076662332Scott Grates Website - https://www.scottgrates.comLove Living Local  - https://www.instagram.com/lovelivinglocal315Scott's FB - https://www.facebook.com/scott.grates.1Scott's - https://www.instagram.com/scottgratesTikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@scott.grates

Dr. Brian Harris built five dental practices, filled his garage with a Lamborghini, a Ferrari, a GT3, and a G-Wagon, and still wasn't any happier than when he had one office. So he did what almost no one does: he sold the practices back to his associates, went back to one location, and doubled down on the craft he actually loves. In this episode, Peter, Craig, Ian, and Brian unpack the real story behind the highlight reel. Why ego drives expansion more than strategy. Why financial success doesn't automatically create fulfillment. Why younger dentists need to rev the RPMs before they chase lifestyle dentistry. And why the ability to walk away from something you built might be the most underrated skill in the profession. Brian also shares what he's learned from nearly a decade running his own mastermind, building Smile Virtual, and doing $400K a month in production as a solo cosmetic dentist. His core message to every dentist listening: connection before conversion. Stop trying to close people. Start organizing your practice and your life around what actually makes you excited to show up. DESCRIPTION The Bulletproof Dental Podcast Episode: 437 HOSTS: Dr. Peter Boulden, Dr. Craig Spodak, and Ian de Jongh Special Guest: Dr. Brian Harris In this episode, Peter Boulden, Craig Spodak, and Ian de Jongh sit down with Dr. Brian Harris, cosmetic dentist, founder of Smile Virtual, and headliner at the 2026 Bulletproof Summit in Scottsdale. Brian shares the unfiltered story of scaling to five practices, realizing he was making less money and carrying more stress, and making the unconventional decision to go back to one office and focus on what he loves. If you've ever wondered whether more locations, more revenue, or more stuff will actually make you happier, this episode is a brutally honest look at what happens when you get everything you thought you wanted and have to recalibrate. TAKEAWAYS - Building multiple locations without the right leadership layer can leave you earning less than you did with one - Ego and approval addiction are often the real drivers behind expansion decisions - The grind phase early in your career is necessary and shouldn't be skipped - Knowing when to take the cul-de-sac back out is just as important as perseverance - Material success (cars, money, status) does not reliably increase happiness - Organizing your practice around what excites you creates better outcomes than chasing what others say you should do - Connection before conversion is the key to case acceptance and long-term practice success - Social media content works best when it's about your patients, not about you - Repetition through tools like Smile Virtual builds consultation skills that translate to real-life case acceptance - Being out of balance isn't a failure if you recognize it and course correct CHAPTERS 00:00 Opening Banter and Introductions 01:09 What Should the World of Dentistry Be Like 02:53 What Would You Tell Your Younger Self 04:29 The Case Against Lifestyle Dentistry Too Early 06:08 The Dip, the Cul-de-Sac, and Knowing When to Walk Away 07:15 What Are You Most Proud Of 09:15 Going from One Office to Five and Back Again 11:25 The Counter Narrative to Build Build Build 13:51 It Was Ego 15:17 A Garage Full of Supercars and the Same Level of Happiness 17:12 The Trap of Chasing Financial Success 18:16 Finding What You Actually Love About Dentistry 21:10 The Value of Loving Your Craft 23:51 The Strivers Curse and Being Out of Balance 26:10 Acknowledging When You're Out of Balance 28:13 Approval Addiction and Learning to Say No 30:20 People Pleasing Beyond the Operatory 32:27 Building a Personal Brand That Serves Patients 35:07 Content Strategy and Making It About Others 37:06 The Elite Mastermind and Finding Your Tribe 41:56 The Danger of Wrong-Fit Groups and Outside Influencers 44:36 Authenticity Over Sales Tactics 46:09 How Smile Virtual Builds Real Consultation Skills 49:46 Brian's Message to Every Dentist Listening 53:18 The Spirit of Service and Why It Wins 55:27 Brian's Megaphone Moment 59:09 Closing and Summit Details REFERENCES - Bulletproof Summit 2026 - https://bulletproofsummit.com/ - Bulletproof Mastermind - https://bulletproofmastermind.com/ - Smile Virtual - https://smilevirtual.com/

Send us Fan MailOn-Demand Programme Link - https://mailchi.mp/bb2a7b851246/kairos-centreThe Law of Sustainment refers to the principle that your ability to maintain progress towards your goals is closely tied to your self-image and identity. If your inner beliefs do not align with your aspirations, it can lead to inconsistency and failure to achieve lasting change.Put slightly differently: It says 'If you see yourself in a certain way, you'll find it hard to sustain lasting change'.Can you identify with anything in this poem? The world's finest Apple  A poem by Julian R. Smith"You must learn that you cannot be loved by all people You can be the finest apple in the world - ripe, juicy, sweet, succulent - and offer yourself to all. But you must remember that there will be people who do not like apples.  You must understand that if you are the world's finest apple, and someone you love does not like apples, you have the choice of becoming a banana. But you must be warned that if you choose to become a banana you will be a second-rate banana. But you can always be the finest apple.  You must also realise that if you choose to be a second-rate banana. There will be people who do not like bananas. Furthermore, You can spend your life trying to become the best banana - which is impossible if you are an apple - or you can seek again to be the finest apple".What is clear is that somewhere in the past, something happened - usually in the childhood development period. You now find yourself trying to please people - to fit in and be accepted. You try to present a version of you to the people in the 'system' you are currently interacting in, in order to be accepted. If that means changing from being an Apple, to a Banana, then so be it. Being accepted in that grouping is the most important factor. Therefore you constantly metamorphorise in order to please and be accepted. The problem: You never identified and evolved into being the real authentic you or you lost the real authentic you.So - 'standup the real authentic you' - becomes futile because the real authentic you is not known. 'Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all' - will get the response - 'Well it's all those others, isn't it!'The Russian doll image best illustrates the protected Inner child deep inside the layers - being protected from the hostile world.Get some help from The Kairos Centre. 367: Activate Good - Leading with Fearlessness and Purpose (Marjorie Maas)Episode SummaryNonprofit leaders carry the weight of the next grant, the next major gift, the next board meeting - and that constant worry doesn't make the work more productive, it just makes it heavier. In Episode #367, Patton talks with Marjorie Maas, CEO of Share Good, based in Omaha, NE, about what it actually looks like to lead with fearlessness when stakes are high and resources are tight. Marjorie leads a national technology and community-building nonprofit that helps cities position generosity in one place - now active in nine markets from Charlotte to Detroit to Omaha and beyond - and she shares the mindset shifts that have shaped both her organization's growth and her own “patchwork quilt” career path. She unpacks the difference between scarcity thinking and an abundance mindset rooted in logical thinking rather than blind faith, why emerging leaders shouldn't talk themselves out of their passion, and why governance fluency is something professionals should be building early — not waiting for an executive seat to learn. Listeners will walk away with a practical framework for leading through uncertainty, language for coaching the next generation of nonprofit professionals, and a clearer sense of how to keep moving forward when fear shows up.About MarjorieMarjorie Maas is the CEO of Share Good, a national technology and community-building nonprofit that connects passion to action in hyperlocal communities by giving nonprofits a shared megaphone to tell donors and volunteers what they need. She leads the growth and expansion of Share Good's national footprint and supports the SHARE Family of community partners across the country. Before joining Share Good in December 2022, Marjorie launched and directed SHARE Omaha, building a platform that promotes more than 700 nonprofits across the Greater Omaha and Council Bluffs metro, and earlier created and implemented the corporate social responsibility strategy for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, redesigning their corporate giving and volunteerism programs. Her 20-plus-year career spans arts marketing, statewide grantmaking, and CSR — a winding path she calls a “patchwork quilt” and credits as the very thing that prepared her for the work she does now.ResourcesConnect with Marjorie on LinkedInLearn more about Share Good at ShareGoodUSA.org — visit the About Us page for community case studies and video testimonialsConcept referenced: Ikigai — the Japanese framework for the overlap of mission, vocation, profession, and passionBook recommendation: The Dip by Seth Godin — a quick, essential read on knowing when to push through a setback and when to walk awayAlso mentioned: Mindset by Carol Dweck (Patton's reference on growth vs. fixed mindset)Follow Your Path to Nonprofit Leadership — and please leave a review!Learn more about the leadership resources at Armstrong McGuire — ArmstrongMcGuire.com

Most leaders are carrying a weight they weren't meant to hold alone. For some of us, we've been conditioned to believe that leadership means being overly responsible—carrying the team, the culture, and the bottom line until we are bent under the pressure. In this episode, we flip the mirror. Instead of viewing responsibility as a heavy burden, we explore it as an invitation to reclaim our agency, choice, and power as we reshape our internal landscape. Reshaping Our Internal Landscape In a world that often feels upside-down, the most important focus for leaders is recognizing the internal shifts required to lead through these times. This episode will help you navigate the space between "who you were" and "who you are becoming" by: The Responsibility Shift. You're listening to Amma Mia podcast. Good morning, Angels. I hope you're feeling as fresh as a newly engaged pop star on a Tuesday, because we have an absolute cracker of an episode for you today. I'm as London and I'm ready to crack into another gorgeous Tuesday. I hope you are too, so today Harry Styles and Zoe kravitt seemed to actually be engaged, like for real life. Jessica Biel has reportedly issued j t an ultimatum, and honestly, good for her. Tyler Swift is taking on the AI industry, and Milania Trump wants Jimmy Kimmel fire because of course she does. Let's pause some tea, Okay, let's start with the big one. It would appear that Zoe Kravitts and Harry Styles might actually be engaged. We first reported on this last week, and honestly, by now I expected one of them to come out and say, namah, it was just some costume jewelry that Zoe sometimes wears on that finger and so far, no such a bottle. A source confirmed to People Magazine that Harry and Zoe have shared the news with a small circle of family and friends. The couple were first wanted together last summer in Rome and have been inseparable ever since. And generally, when it comes to this sort of thing, people know their stuff because when people kind of announce it, it's generally a pretty good sign. Zoe was previously married to actor Kyl Gluseman and then engage to Channing Tatum before they caught things off in late twenty twenty four. What I love about all of this is that Zoe doesn't have a type. None of those men look, feel, or vibe. Similarly, she does not discriminate. Get a girl. Now, this one's been bubbling for a while and it's now reached a new level. So according to The Daily Mail, Jessica Bial has issued Habi justin Timberlake with an ultimatum over his behavior, and sources say there's not much more she can take. The report says the Bill has had enough of a string of incidents, including his twenty twenty four DUI arrest in subsequent release of bodycam footage Jelly, this year recent trip to Las Vegas, where eye witnesses told Page six he appeared to be under the influence, and his own golf invitational in the afternoon. A source told the outlet she does everything with the kids, and she's stick of being publicly embarrassed. There's not much more she can take now. Unnamed sources and tabloid marriage reports should always be taken with a grain of salt. The pattern of behavior here is documented and very public. The dy, the meme, the bodycam footage, the Vegas golf tournament. Jessica has stood by this man through a lot, and generally speaking, when these reports start emerging, it's often kind of in order to pave the way, so to speak. So we'll just have to wait and see. Stick around. Taylor Swift is trademarking her own voice to protect against AI Malaney. Trump is demanding that the ABC fire Jimmy Kimmel and one for the Game of Thrones fans, welcome back to you morning Tea. Taylor Swift is far the three trademark applications with the US Paytent and Trademark Office, and the movie is specifically designed to protect her against AI misuse. I mean, it's terrifying that people have to do this, but honestly, if I was I would do the same thing. Two of the applications are around trademarks covering her voice secifically the phrases hey It's Taylor Swift and Hey It's Taylor. The third is a visual trademark covering a specific photograph with her on stage holding a pink guitar in a multicolored iridescent bodysuit and silver boots. You know the one. We all know the one. Taylor's likeness has already been used without permission in AI fakes, including metas AI chatbods, pornographic images, and famously in twenty twenty four, when Donald Trump shared AI generated images falsely suggested she endoorstam Ill. She's following in the footsteps of Matthew McConaughey, who's successfully trademark Alright, alright, alright last year. Jimmy Kimmel is back at it again, and by it, I mean pissing off the Trumps. He made a joke on his show last Thursday in which he said that Mlania Trump had a glow like an expectant widow. The Joe gave two days before the White House Cross Bondent dinner, which was evacuated after shots for fired outside the venue. Milania has since posted on next calling for ABC to fire Kimmel, writing Kimmel's hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn't comedy. His words are corrosive and deep into political sickness within America. Enough is enough, It's time for ABC this take a stand. This is not the first time Jimmy Kimmel has been pulled into this kind of controversy. Of course, he was previously suspended in twenty twenty five after he made comments following the death Charlie Kirk, before reinstating him less than a week later. I med a significant public backlash. Kimmel and ABC have not yet publicly responded. And now, for anyone who has been waiting very patiently for more Dragons in their life, your prayers have been answered. House of the Dragon season three trailer has struggle well to tease a trailer, and now we have an official premiere date. The eight episode season kicks off June twenty one, and new episodes are airing weekly through the season finale on August Night. As expected, things look and gory. All that remains is for you to decide what you want from this war. You will do things that your heart would have recoiled from before you came to the throne. The tak Arians are savage race. We act with holy purpose, So a score a rightful king. I'm going to kill my brother or die in the attempt. Draw your sword. Show runner Ryan Condall said in a video message, this is a huge season. It's the biggest we've had by any margin. It's dark, it's funny, it's action packed, it's emotional, and of course it has lots and lots of dragons. And that is it for me, my loves, but the girls will be back in your feeds at three pm with the spill Dip dive for your entertainment news. Today, we're tearing down the concept of "Clean Beauty" with a woman who built a company on the radical idea of honesty. Our guest is Kate Assaraf, founder of DIP, the sustainability-forward haircare company that's redefining beauty without plastic or pretense. After years inside the beauty machine, Kate witnessed firsthand how marketing excluded real women and, crucially, how "greenwashing" obscured the truth. She created DIP to disrupt this cycle, challenging the very language of the industry. DIP believes the era of "Clean Beauty" is over. As Kate puts it, calling something "clean" is often just a distraction—a term with no legal meaning that often fuels chemophobia, an unreasonable fear of chemicals. (Let's remember, water is a chemical, right?) DIP is calling time on misleading marketing callouts like "non-toxic," "chemical-free," and "naturally derived." Instead, they choose transparency, intentionality, and hard data.Kate Assaraf is the founder of DIP, a sustainability-forward haircare company redefining beauty without plastic or pretense. After years in the beauty industry, Kate saw how marketing excluded real women and greenwashed the truth—so she created DIP to do things differently. DIP makes salon-quality shampoo and conditioner bars that are plastic-free, travel-ready, and built to last. But more than that, it's a brand with a mission: empower small, women-owned refill stores across the country to thrive.Kate's 7-figure business doesn't rely on Amazon or big box retail—instead, she invests directly in Main Street. From funding store build-outs to launching exclusive local-only scents, Kate is proving that sustainable beauty can be good for people, the planet, and your profit margins. Named NJ Mompreneur of the Year, a Forbes Council Member, and Oprah's 2025 #1 Pick for Curly Hair, Kate is a fierce advocate for small business, honest marketing, and conscious consumerism.

What happens when SEO stops working, rebuilding after a major traffic drop, and navigating AI and the future of blogging with Carrie Forrest from Clean Eating Kitchen. ----- Welcome to episode 564 of The Food Blogger Pro Podcast! This week on the podcast, Bjork interviews Carrie Forrest from Clean Eating Kitchen. Reinventing a Food Blog After an 80% Traffic Drop Carrie Forrest has been blogging since 2009 and has experienced the full range of highs and lows that come with building an online business. When Bjork first interviewed her in 2018, she was already growing Clean Eating Kitchen with simple, healthy recipes and a strong foundation in SEO and keyword research. Between 2022 and 2024, that strategy paid off in a big way — Carrie grew her site from a few hundred thousand monthly pageviews to nearly one million. But with the rollout of AI Overviews, many of the keyword-driven and how-to posts she relied on were hit hard, leading to an 80% traffic drop almost overnight. In this episode, Carrie shares how she's navigating this rebuild season — from leaning into her email list and YouTube to focusing on what AI can't replicate: human connection, empathy, and transformation. It's an honest conversation about the shifting landscape for online creators and what reinvention can look like after years of success. Three episode takeaways: Why it can be difficult to diversify when one strategy is working extremely well — We talk all the time about the importance of diversifying your revenue and traffic streams, but that can be hard to do in reality! Carrie talks about why she struggled to listen to that advice and how hard it is to focus energy on diversifying when your current strategy is doing so well. How Carrie is approaching a rebuild season after an 80% drop in traffic — Bjork and Carrie discuss the ebbs and flows of running an online business, how Carrie recovers from big traffic dips, and how a beginner mindset is helping her feel more creative than ever before. Why focusing on human connection, creativity, and audience relationships matters more than ever — Carrie shares her current outlook for her blog and explains why she is leaning into her humanity and connection with her audience instead of information and transaction. War, Oil, and Inflation Are Setting Up Gold's Next Surge

Gold falls as war drives oil higher, but Peter Schiff says stagflation, deficits, and a weaker dollar are setting up gold's next major surge.Peter Schiff explains why the latest pullback in gold, silver, and mining stocks is not a sign that the bull market is over, but a temporary reaction to rising oil prices, higher bond yields, and a stronger dollar. He argues that markets are focusing too narrowly on delayed Fed rate cuts while missing the bigger picture: war-driven deficits, stubborn inflation, a weakening economy, and mounting pressure on the Federal Reserve to eventually monetize even more debt.He also breaks down soft GDP growth, rising PCE inflation, weakness in housing, and what he sees as the widening gap between Trump's economic claims and the underlying data. Schiff's core thesis is that stagflation, war spending, and long-term dollar weakness remain strongly bullish for gold and silver, while the current selloff is creating another buying opportunity.Chapters:00:00 Metals Pullback Buy Zone02:00 Stocks Oil Rates Dollar05:07 War Deficits Bullish Gold09:51 Inflation Reality Check17:10 Housing Bubble Warning22:54 Lies or Delusion24:18 Economic Boom Claims25:15 War Fallout and Stagflation33:07 Gold Silver Big Picture37:56 Buy the Dip and Wrap UpFollow @peterschiffX: https://twitter.com/peterschiffInstagram: https://instagram.com/peterschiffTikTok: https://tiktok.com/@peterschiffofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/peterschiffGet more gold & silver now: https://www.schiffgold.com1-888-GOLD-160 (465-3160)Open a T Gold account: https://www.tgold.comOpen a managed account: https://europac.comListen to The Peter Schiff Show: https://schiffradio.comFollow the main channel: https://youtube.com/peterschiff#Gold #OilPrices #InflationOur Sponsors:* Check out GhostBed: https://ghostbed.com/PETER* Check out Quince: https://quince.com/GOLD* Check out TruDiagnostic and use my code GOLD20 for a great deal: https://www.trudiagnostic.comPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

In this exclusive "Everyone Needs an Aquarius" special, Dom sits down with the visionary co-creator of 314 Day, Young Dip, to dive deep into the heart of St. Louis culture and the mission behind the movement. For years, 314 Day has evolved from a local celebration into a massive three-day festival that has captured nationwide attention on platforms like BET, inspiring other cities like Detroit and Chicago to launch their own area code celebrations. However, with massive growth comes "rage-bait" and commentary—Dip joins us to clear the air about the 314 Day trademark, explaining why protecting the brand is a necessary business move to secure major sponsorships that pour resources directly back into the St. Louis community. Beyond the logistics, Young Dip shares his personal journey from foster care to becoming a marketing and radio veteran, driven by a desire to build a lasting legacy for the next generation. We discuss the ongoing philanthropic work of the 314 Day Foundation—from helping tornado victims to supporting local children—and why it's time for St. Louis to move past "false senses of community" and start building together. Whether you're an STL native or a fan of grassroots movements, this conversation is an honest look at what happens when purpose meets professional execution. Hey, friend. I'm pulling an amazing episode from the archives with over 430 episodes here on the Proof to Product podcast. There is a gold mine of information for you to help you grow your business, and, frankly, it can be hard to take it all in. Today's episode is a look back at an interview I did with Seth Godin who needs no introduction, but it would be a complete disservice to not share all of his accolades.  He's an author, entrepreneur, and most of all, a teacher.  In addition to launching one of the most popular blogs in the world, he has written 22 best-selling books, including The Dip, Linchpin, Purple Cow, Tribes, and This is Marketing, which was an instant bestseller in countries around the world.  His latest book, This is Strategy: Make Better Plans offers readers a practical framework for what an effective strategy looks like and feels like in today's fast-moving chaotic, and diverse world. This strategy allows readers to zoom out and see the bigger picture and understand the systems that are shaping their lives at work, in business, and day-to-day challenges.  Seth contends that by recognizing and mastering these systems and prioritizing long-term thinking over instant gratification, we can make smart, purposeful choices today that will lead to long-term growth. In my conversation with Seth, he shares his motivation for writing this book, the four elements that are critical for an effective strategy, and the importance of identifying and connecting with our smallest viable audience. On a personal note, when I started my product business in 2008, Seth's work was a major catalyst in helping me gain marketing momentum. He has a no-nonsense approach. He's concise and clear with his thoughts, and that resonates and gets your wheels turning, which you will hear in today's episode.
