Especially since by then the United States had joined Israel to attack Iran on February 28, shortly after the third-quarter waning square of Mars to Uranus on February 27, surprising many. However, by the March 11 third quarter waning square of the Sagittarius Moon to the Pisces Sun, tension grew from asking questions that received no straight or verifiable answers to those focused on the overall strategy & end game for this war.And, as Jupiter stationed direct at 15'05” Cancer on March 12, the energy shifts to where we stand—both personally & collectively—in terms of morals & ethics. Retrograde since last November, Jupiter tasked us to go deep about whether we've been following our heart & souls' true knowledge about what is ethical & moral, or whether we've simply acquiesced to the beliefs of those in power.VENUS IN ARIES, JUPITER DIRECT: MORAL JUSTICE FOR SEX TRAFFICKED RAPE VICTIMSMeanwhile, as more Epstein documents continue to be released, since VE entered war god Mars-ruled Aries on March 6, & as it waxed toward a sextile to PL in AQ March 9/10 there was this from the NYT March 9: “Alexander Brothers Found Guilty of All Counts in Sex-Trafficking Trial The verdict comes more than a month after the trial began in Federal District Court in Manhattan where the jury heard weeks of emotional and often graphic testimony.“Three brothers, including two who were among the country's most prominent real estate brokers, were convicted in Manhattan on Monday of engaging in a yearslong conspiracy to traffic women and girls for sex.“The brothers — Tal and Oren Alexander, who regularly closed multimillion-dollar real estate deals in New York and elsewhere, and Alon Alexander, a security executive — were found guilty on every count they each faced, and could now all face life in prison when they are sentenced on Aug. 6.The verdict comes more than a month after the trial began in Federal District Court in Manhattan, where the jury heard weeks of emotional and often graphic testimony from 11 women who had accused the Alexander brothers of rape or sexual assault. And that Venus in Aries will ultimately succeed in her her fight to restore the natural order of reverence for feminist anima as sacred.MERCURY RETROGRADE'S BLASTS FROM THE PASTThis podcast also delves into the reemergence of people & events from the past rearing their heads again today. Hmm, speaking of sexual abuse, might this recent verdict be a bellwether for the Epstein case as we learn that FBI is now investigating his sprawling Albuquerque, New Mexico, “Zorro Ranch” property,” which it neglected (or bothered) to search back when. A little Mercury retrograde action again, since the FBI knew about this property a long while back…Next, of course, is the Iran attack redux since both Israel & the U.S. claimed to have obliterated this nation's nuclear capabilities after their attacks back in June of 2025. Oops, maybe not…maybe it's during Mercury's retrograde in Pisces we were able to learn we were lied to, eh? Especially when we remember that Mercury's Hermes is known as “the trickster” in Greek mythology, there's the outdated intelligence used by Defense Department to target what it thought was an Iranian military structure that turned out to be a girls school.U.S. at Fault in Strike on School in Iran, Preliminary Inquiry Says, according to the NYTs on March 11: “Outdated targeting data may have resulted in a mistaken missile strike, according to the ongoing military investigation, which undercuts President Trump's assertion that Iran could be to blame…"...Striking a school full of children is sure to be recorded as one of the most devastating single military errors in recent decades. Iranian officials have said the death toll was at least 175 people, most of them children.” And of course answers  from the U.S. Government to direct questions have been muddled & vague. Since Mercury is related to communication, we also have the reemergence of names like Kari Lake-- remember her? She's the right wing former candidate for Arizona Governor who Donald Trump last year appointed as the head of Voice of America, the international broadcast arm of the U.S. Government.There was this from AP on March 8: “Judge Voids Mass Layoffs at Voice of America…Federal judge rules Trump Administration's action to dismantle Voice of America are illegal. The ruling, which said that Kari Lake's appointment to oversee V.O.A.'s parent agency was invalid, was a major rejection of President Trump's attempts to dismantle the government-funded news group.”WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE, NOR ANY DROP TO DRINKNext, we have the ongoing fall out of the attacks on Iranian infrastructure which seem to align with the recently begun Saturn/Neptune cycle in Aries. Numerous events, including the attacks on Iranian desalination planets, & Iranian retaliation toward nearby Gulf states have resulted thus far in destroying the ability of millions to access clean drinking water.According to the New York Times “…desalination plants in Iran and Bahrain were struck during the escalating conflict, with Iran accusing the U.S. of hitting a facility on Qeshm Island [the largest island in the Persian Gulf] that supplies water to about 30 villages, while Bahrain blamed an Iranian drone for damaging a plant there. “Analysts warned that attacking desalination infrastructure — a primary source of drinking water for millions in the Gulf — marks a serious escalation that could threaten civilian survival and broaden the war's impact beyond military targets.”Never mind the fact that this war has caused the Iranians to close their side of the Straits of Hormuz (Saturn=boundaries; Neptune=water, Aries=action), through which 20% of the world's oil transits. And that the rest of the world struggles to make up for this shortfall by releasing strategic petroleum preserves to tamp down the rise in oil prices, which may see oil rise to upwards of $200 per barrel, as per some experts estimates.And, of course there's the fact that bombing Iran has resulted in setting back the cause of preventing future damaging climate change for who knows how long, but at least decades, according to experts.PISCES NEW MOON: PLANT SEEDS OF GREATER EMPATHY FOR REAL VICTIMSAs we head toward the March 18 Pisces New Moon, which brings both luminaries together at 28'27” PI at 1:20 pm PT & 4:20 pm ET, they are also waxing toward conjunctions with Neptune at 1'42” Aries & Saturn @3'56”, as they begin to separate from now. This podcast delves into more about this lunation, & how by the time it arrives we'll also have the exact conjunction of wounded healer Chiron to chaos-inducer dwarf planet Eris. Hence, the first quarter lunar square of the Gemini Moon to the Pisces Sun February 24 has had us asking many questions (Gemini=communication & curiosity) the answers to which have previously remained vague & unclear (Neptune-ruled Pisces=confusion.)Known as the “crisis in action” portion of the monthly lunar cycle, this first quarter square represented the growth of the seeds planted at the Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse. Among them were FBI 302 forms, which are used to memorialize witness interviews. Those are the very types of records that were previously reported as missing from document productions tied to Epstein-related investigations.“Some of those interviews involve survivors who accused Trump of sexual assault when they were just children. As more light gets shed on the contents of Jeffrey Epstein's long sought after documents during this month's Capricorn New Moon lunar cycle which began on January 18 & hit its apex at the Leo Full Moon February 1, we see a collective aha! moment awakening process dawning.But, not everyone wants to awaken from their ideological notion that a “perfect world” means one where rich elites rule through xenophobia, racism, misogyny, gender-discrimination, etc., in order to creat an "us versus them" dynamic to stay in power.This is exemplified by Saturn's move into Mars-ruled Aries today, February 13, which combines a planet that is change resistant with a sign that is action oriented. The massive destruction there has now left 3,455 people dead, another 4,715 people injured, and 341 missing, according to Myanmar's military-led government.We discuss also what's occurred between the inferior conjunction of the Sun in Aries to Venus retrograde on March 22 and its heliacal rising circa March 29, which echoes the themes of this eclipse series--with the addition of the fall from grace of prominent people. This theme was mirrored in last night's removal by the high court of the South Korean president after he instituted martial law back on December 12, 2024, and may represent a harbinger of the future elsewhere.Here in America, there are plenty of people losing their positions, such as unelected billionaire Elon Musk who's responsible for major labor cuts and funding throughout the federal government that's just now beginning to take effect by touching peoples lives personally. An object of American & Canadian anger, Musk is reportedly due to step down as a "special government employee" who's head of the Department of Government Efficiency sometime in May. However, he will remain an advisor to President Trump.But the real news is that the tide is beginning to turn as voters in Wisconsin elected a democrat to the state's supreme court on April 2, reducing GOP influence in a swing state that voted overwhelmingly for Trump last November. And, although two GOP House representative won their special elections in deep red regions of Florida, the turnout there severely alarmed GOP operatives as the percentages of those wins dropped drastically from last November. In addition, the democrats in Congress show signs of beginning to wake up and fight back since this Aries solar eclipse & as we approach the waxing cardinal first quarter monthly lunar “crisis in action” square on April 4. Even some hardcore GOP members of Congress are now objecting to Trump's massive tariffs on nearly all foreign nations that trade with America. These eclipses, combined with Mercury's retrograde period starting on March 14 at the lunar eclipse, have included a review of trade contracts & agreements. Between the combination of Venus retrograde from March 1 through April 12 & Mercury's retrograde cycle from March 14 through April 7, we've seen the weakening of global partnerships (Venus) with America mainly through the issue of trade (Mercury.) And, as the U.S. continues to maintain its isolationist “us versus them” stance on trade and its expansionist threats against its partners, retaliation is threatened by these partners (Aries)—again. Fingers crossed that mercurial unpredictable President Trump will come to a final conclusion on his tariff threats, due to go into effect on April 5, by the time Mercury stations direct again on April 7.Such threats have already tanked the financial markets, alarming many, even though the jobs report today was a positive one. But the federal worker cuts have not hit the unemployment stats yet, and we have not yet felt the full brunt of economic effects based on the increase in prices of goods imported into the U.S. Economists' estimates this will cost the average American between $1600 & $3,800 per year--which essentially amounts to a rise in taxes.As people begin to wake up to all of this and how it will affect them & those they love personally, attitudes are beginning to shift in alignment with the post Aries New Moon solar eclipse energies. In addition, Neptune's ingress into Aries on March 30 is slowly allowing the birth of a new consciousness around the world's current predicament to arise and events indicate now that action will follow.Looked at symbolically, NY Senator Cory Booker's record breaking 25+ hour speech on the Senate floor on April 2 that excoriated Trump, Musk, and others for their careless, callous edicts & actions (here's lookin' at you Pete Hegseth & Mike Waltz), represented the birth of a new political awakening & retaliatory defiance.In addition, a new era is heralded by Neptune's entrance into Aries for the next fourteen years until 2038. Since Neptune rules the natural 12th House of gestation, and Mars-ruled Aries the proactivity necessary for the act of birth, we're witnessing now the birth of consciousness within the collective that the old order is falling away and a new one will eventually mature into adulthood.While we're still a long way from that phase of Neptune in Aries, we know that Neptune will be joined soon by Saturn in Aries on May 24. Vance in the White House on February 28.It seemed back then like things were only going downhill from there-- what with unelected billionaire Elon Musk in charge of gutting federal governmental services that U.S. citizens rely on under the guise of eliminating waste & fraud. Moving fast and breaking things his specialty, Musk didn't take long to fall out of favor with Americans suffering from his financial cuts by the time we reached the March 6 first quarter lunar crisis in action mutable square of the Gemini Moon to the Pisces Sun. Musk's reply?“Everybody's talkin' at me, I don't hear a word they're saying…”Things were in flux all right, and by the time of the March 7/8 Pisces Sun trined Mars—by then direct in Cancer since February 23—it was clear that everything was not going to be ok. It slowly began to dawn on larger numbers of people that America's current situation was not sustainable and that a radical change would be necessary for the future, as Erin Sullivan defines this aspect in her book “Retrograde Planets.” By March 8, U.S. green card holders—legally allowed to live and work here--were being arrested without being charged with a crime or the right to an attorney & sent to harsh ICE prisons. By March 9, both Americans and Canadians were fed up—the former with Musk's federal job & funding cuts beginning to reverberate negatively throughout society & the latter as the U.S. president refused to shut up about making Canada America's 51st state--& began attacking Tesla dealerships.Meanwhile, lawsuits against the Trump administration's actions began to deluge the courts and now total 146. Approximately one-third of these are now under judicial restraints via various judges' rulings against federal employee firings, the defunding of Congressionally approved programs, veterans' healthcare and other benefits, and so much more.With Venus already retrograde in Aries since March 1 & Mercury having stationed retrograde in Aries 14/15--just after the first Virgo Full Moon lunar eclipse on March 13/14—it seemed inevitable that the truth was beginning to dawn even on those who'd voted for this current administration of billionaires. Not to mention their GOP Congressional sidekicks who'd by then become too afraid to hold public town halls with their angry constituents.However, since the Sun/Neptune conjunction in Pisces March 19 & the Sun's entrance into Aries at the spring equinox March 20, a shift began to take place. Such an obvious lack of compassion of the “let them eat cake” kind, combined with a callous inattention to detail, began to give way by the time the Sun's entrance into Aries called us all into the fight.Since they, we've been morphing away from delusional Piscean energy & toward the higher Piscean manifestation of empathy, & into a more proactive “fight for the right to have rights!” Aries battle cry. And with Venus retrograde have reached her inferior conjunction with the Sun in Aries March 22, we're now, by March 29, at the heliacal rising at time when global leaders tend to lose their heads, so to speak…At the Sun joined Mercury in Aries on March 24—usually an important announcement of some kind from or about leaders, as I noted in last week's podcast—we learned about how top secret U.S. military classified information was disseminated via the unprotected Signal chat app. As we move closer to early May's conjunction between transiting Uranus and “off with his head” fixed star Algol, no surprise that calls for the resignation of our current Pisces Moon Defense Secretary are, in true Aries fashion, getting louder by the day. My March 26's Mars square to wounded healer Chiron, it was obvious how this incident “wounded” our military by weakening its defenses through allowing those listening (are you listening Russia? How about you China? Oh, and what about Iran?) as one of the participants on that chat was actually IN Moscow on an unsecured line at the time. Are ya wakin' up yet, folks?Now as we approach tomorrow's Aries New Moon solar eclipse--& this eclipse series is a physically themed one which has already been filled with accidents, fires, military attacks, etc.—it also brings both luminaries together in alignment—both heart and mind. And Saturn sextiles Uranus now, telling us we have the opportunity to bring revolutionary forces together to try to heal some of the current wounds sustained through the Mars/Chiron square. Remember, this is all under the guise of the current U.S. Pluto return, which ain't gonna be over til it's over, and that's a long way off. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN for this week's review of what the heck it all means as we head toward next week's Aries New Moon solar eclipse March 29!This podcast looks at how we are reevaluating relationships thanks to Venus retrograde & how we can find the inspiration to create our future, thanks to Mercury retrograde, both in Aries. We review also, as we're in the middle of two eclipses, the theme of this set of eclipses. Hint: this eclipse series is a very physically expressive one that may involve accidents, great physical effort, violence, or any sudden physical events, as per traditional astrologer Bernadette Brady in her book “Predictive Astrology.”Though some may experience these eclipses positively, we've already seen how they've manifested thus far in the collective in terms of both “sudden physical events” & violence,” given recent news reports.We have the recent storms which swept through the American south & southwest beginning March 14, the day of the Virgo Full Moon lunar eclipse that sparked tornadoes, wildfires, high winds and dust storms across eight states over. The result? At least 42 people dead and dozens injured.In addition, the Trump Administration authorized an attack on the Houthis in Yemen on March 15, in which at least 53 people were killed, including five children and two women, and 98 others were wounded, according to the Houthi-run health ministry. The Houthis have described the attacks as a "war crime" and vowed retaliation. That's in addition to a fire in a nightclub that killed 59 people in North Macedonia March 16, the deportation of 261 Venezuelans in America accused of being gang members & sent to El Salvador March 15. It's been discovered since, in true Neptunian fashion, that not all are gang members & that at least one is a professional soccer player who fled Venezuela after having participated in protests against the Maduro government and was arrested there & tortured.  Israel declared the ceasefire in Gaza over & resumed airstrikes in Gaza March 18, killing more than 400 people including many women and children, and injuring at least 500, according to Gaza health officials.As we approach the Aries New Moon solar eclipse at 9-degrees Aries on March 29, should we expect more of the same? Timestamps [1:30] Mercury conjoins Venus (March 11, 3:55 pm PDT, 8º47' Aries) on the Sabian symbol 9 Aries, A crystal gazer. Look at the area of life represented by the Aries house of your chart - what do you want there? [3:36] On March 12 (3:29 am PDT, 22º05' Pisces), the Sun conjoins Saturn on the Sabian symbol 23 Pisces, Spiritist phenomena. It can be a productive, character-building transit, but it usually is not a cheerful one. [5:51] Moon Report! The Full Moon (March 13, 11:55 pm PDT) is a Lunar Eclipse at 23º56' Virgo. The South Node is in Virgo, so each eclipse in this sign points to releasing its harsh or negative aspects, such as worry and stress, excessive perfectionism, and destructive criticism. Previous eclipses near this degree: Sep. 13, 2015, March 14, 2006, and on March 13, 1998. [10:55] Lunar Phase Family Cycle (LPFC). This is the Full Moon in an LPFC that began with a New Moon on Sep. 14, 2023, at 21º58' Virgo. The First Quarter near this degree was on June 13, 2024, and the Last Quarter is on Dec. 11, 2025. [13:01] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon periods. On March 11 (1:16 pm PDT), the Moon in Leeeeoooo squares Uranus. It's VOC for 11 hours, 40 minutes, and enters Virgo on March 12 (12:56 am PDT). Is it worth toning yourself down in order to fit in? [14:27] On March 14 (10:47 am PDT), the Moon in Virgo opposes Neptune. It's VOC for 1 hour 12 minutes, enters Libra at 11:59 am PDT. Get past idealizing others in order to get a clear idea of yourself. [16:00] On March 16 (2:53 am PDT), the Moon in Libra squares Mars in Cancer. It's VOC for 21 hours 37 minutes (!!!), then enters Scorpio on March 17 (12:30 am PDT). Restrain yourself from sending nasty messages or losing your temper on the road. [18:37] The Sun sextiles Uranus (March 14, 2:16 am PDT) at 24°02' Pisces-Taurus. If the cosmic games haven't already started for you with Venus Retrograde and all things love, money and relationships at the end of this week on the 14th we have the Virgo full moon which happens to also be a lunar eclipse too. If you're keep tracking since my energy update for March 2025 you'll know this is the week before the official new astrological year in Aries kicking off on the 20th. It's very much the energy of letting go to do with Virgo, the collective karma at the moment. Virgo is associated with perfectionism, structure, routine, service, and discernment, this eclipse highlights areas where you may need to let go of rigid control, over-analysis or self-criticism. Virgo Full Moon Eclipse - Channelled Intuitive Message It makes a lot of sense when I channeled the upcoming energy I saw the taming of the mind - as if you were training your dog or puppy you know? Off the back of it what comes through is energy of a buddhic nature. One of my good friends recently got a puppy so I don't know if that's why it's connected but I'm going to roll with it. Taming the mind is much like training a puppy. At first, it wanders freely, chasing every impulse, barking at shadows and reacting instinctively to every noise. It pulls you in different directions, darting between excitement, fear, distraction and restlessness. But just as a dog learns discipline through patience and consistency, so too can the mind be gently guided toward stillness and focus. Imagine your thoughts as an unruly puppy—full of energy, curious, and easily led astray. You wouldn't scold it harshly for its nature, but instead, you would redirect it with kindness and clarity. When it gets distracted, you bring it back. When it tugs toward anxiety, you soothe it. Over time, with repetition, it learns to stay present, to trust in the steady rhythm of your breath, and to sit in quiet without needing constant movement. Like a well-trained pet, a tamed mind becomes an ally rather than an obstacle. It no longer jumps at every passing thought or reacts to every external trigger. Instead, it learns to wait, observe, and act only when truly necessary. This is not about suppression or control, but about cultivating a relationship built on trust. Veteran astrologer and Mystical Messages host Hilary shares her March 2025 astrology forecast.  The month ahead is a cosmic minefield. Valuable Venus turning retrograde motion on Saturday, March 1st. Venus' retrograde passage lasts six weeks, overlapping with Lent, underscoring a primary theme of Venus retrograde:  temptation, on all fronts.  Watch for old relationships surfacing and a time of buyer beware.  Venus retrograde is a notorious time of buyer's remorse, especially for luxury goods.  It is not the best time to:  start a business; make new investments; buy homes, cars or luxury items; go on a first date or initiate new relationships.  It is the perfect time for Spring cleaning and to practice the RE words including:  research, review, retreat, renew, restore, rest, and more, especially the second half of March when Messenger Mercury is also retrograde.   The first eclipse of 2025 occurs on Friday, March 14th.  A total Full Moon lunar eclipse; its themes are control vs. surrender, expectation management, and deep cleansing with healing potential. With Sun and Saturn aligning to Motivating Mars during the eclipse, trust your intuition.  The very next day, Messenger Mercury turns retrograde on Saturday, March 15th.  Expect some very big messages.  The time between eclipses is a notorious energetic black hole.  The darkness is intensified by the overlapping Venus-Mercury retrogrades.  Expect little to no traction.   Make use of the second half of March:  Plan and prepare; surrender what you cannot control; add music to your life, in your home, car and at work; use water therapy and exercise of all kinds:  steam, frozen, or liquid, and to change your scenery. Now is the time to clean house, both literally and physically. The Virgo Full Moon eclipse directs us to look at our health, wellness, work and lifestyle routines and habits.  A few days later the Spring Equinox occurs on Thursday, March 20th.  We are at a the threshold of a portal.  There is no going back, returning to previous ways. Heading into the New Moon eclipse in Aries on Saturday, March 29th watch for illusion and the delusional as well as pristine understanding. Words have rarely mattered more. Choose your words wisely as you will be heard now.  Set clear intentions.  March departs with an epic crescendo.  Notably, spiritual Neptune shifts into the sign of Aries. The last time it changed signs was in 2011, when she turned from Aquarius into Pisces.  Think about how far you have come since then!
