Following the announcement of the matchday and season ticket prices I emailed Dejphon Chansiri with my thoughts. Today I had the opportunity to meet with him and ask questions about tickets amongst other topics. I wasn't able to record it but hear what he had to say as I try to condense a 2-hour meeting into 10-15 minutes. We also heard the thoughts from the many Wednesday fans on the whole situation we find ourselves in. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The international break is over for Sheffield Wednesday but the transfer window is still in full swing as we edge closer to deadline day. The Star's Owls writing pair Alex Miller and Joe Crann join Liam Hoden to discuss the potential ins and outs and Hillsborough before Friday's deadline - including the shock bid for Barry Bannan. It was an incredible day for Sheffield Wednesday but one remembered firmly with a bittersweet feeling. Wednesdayites took over Wembley on a warm and sunny day in May 2016 but their team was far less in control as they slumped to a lacklustre defeat to Hull City. It felt like the beginning of something special, the end of an incredible season with unforeseen success. But it remains the high point of the Dejphon Chansiri era at the Owls. On the anniversary of the game, The Star's Owls writer Joe Crann is joined by colleagues Liam Hoden and Liam Norcliffe to discuss their memories of the day and how it relates to the current state of the club. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-star-sheffield/message
Dom and James are joined by former Wednesday Carlos Carvalhal, on the anniversary of that fateful weekend in London four years ago. We talk about his time in charge of the Owls, his thoughts on the play-off final and whether he'd do anything differently in that game if he could go back. Carlos also tells us about his continued close friendship with Dejphon Chansiri what he regrets from his third season in charge at Hillsborough. He also reveals why he expects to be back in England next season - and lots lots more. Remember, it's rubbish not having football - but our sacrifice is helping to save lives.
