I love exploring with the idea of creating from the Universe Consciousness/God-consciousness/Spirit, rather than just trying to manifest from my own human perspective of what's possible BUT those things can be super helpful at helping you intend energy in the right direction. But manifestation can be so much more than bringing in a thing—it can be a complete transformation of everything because you've figured out that if you stay in the right energy and frequency, then so much more gravitates to you. A quick announcement, I'm starting a new series of RIFFS on Instagram that dive deeper into manifestation from the Universal mind versus the ego mind. If you're not already following the podcast on Instagram, then go to @mindsettomanifestation to follow or click HERE to access last week's stories. A few of the things I cover: 1. How I identify when I'm not in my own energy. As an empath, I had to learn the hard way to know when the feelings I'm feeling aren't mine an I've picked up someone else's stuff. I also give you a quick Reiki energy clearing tip that you can use anytime and anywhere—quickly ridding your energy field of other people's stuff! 2. The best way to keep your vibrational energy from dropping down when you feel like your manifestations are not happening fast enough. 3. Why you shouldn't settle for small time manifestations, and I'm not talking about trying to manifest a mansion rather than the new apartment on your dream board. Hope you are enjoying the beautiful unfolding of your own journey! Sending you so much love from NYC! Healthy and relational self-advocacy can help heal our transactional world, and it can also help with trauma healing. In this Trauma Healing Learning: Don't Settle For Less, Louise looks back at her career as a mediator and lawyer to give examples of how relational self advocacy and “The Positive Frame” can help heal not only our trauma, but also help make the world less divided. She gives examples of ways to self advocate and foster a positive framework within this context. Self-advocacy looks different for everyone. That's what Louise Phipps Senft realized when her husband Billy asked for time alone with Archer at the hospital, and what she has continually been reminded of throughout her marriage. Some people need space and time as a result of trauma, and some people need immediate, warm connection. In Season 2: Episode 7: Don't Settle For Less, Louise recounts her advocacy for a meeting with 3 of Archer's doctors and Billy's advocacy for his own needs, like time with his son and a solid plan to pick Dutch, their other son, up from camp. She also reflects on how past childhood trauma and generational trauma impacts a marriage, and she shares with us an approach she calls the The Positive Frame based in neuroscience findings that helped her navigate to help others see what was possible. In this episode, you will hear excerpts of interview conversations with: Steve Lepler, director of West End House camp, where Dutch Senft, Louise's youngest son, was spending the summer when Archer was injured. Steve and Louise speak about their decision to tell Dutch what happened and how his summer went while at camp. Join Louise for Season 2 of Blink of an Eye: Episode 7: Don't Settle for Less, August 18. Day 14. I just want life to get back to normal. Have you heard or felt that way recently? I had a conversation with a 17 year old who said those exact words. I remember walking away, thinking the exact same thing. There's been many seasons in my own life, where circumstances happened in health, relationships, business, and finances, where I felt like that 17 year old. I just wanted to get back to normal. But I would find myself at a crossroads. In this episode of Ultra Rare Life I talk about the crossroads of life. You're all going to face a time, where you're going to have to decide to settle or fight for your future. I give you the four key points to be very true when you stand up. When we are tired and distracted, it can be tempting to settle for what feels comfortable. Pastor Shaun Nepstad reminds us that God always has better for us. Our destiny is waiting for us on the other side of our “dip” when we press on and refuse to settle.

No matter what you are going through be encouraged. Yes sometimes it's easier said than done. There are many days I had to and still do encourage myself. I have to speak life to my very situation that gives me hope and courage when I'm feeling low. Times when I feel like I can't make it I encourage myself. God has been good to me. Good has brought me a long way. I learned to speak positive things in a negative situation. I had to believe what I was speaking to myself. When I believe what I was speaking and kept and keep on speaking it I found myself in another place. A place were my soul was uplifted the joy of the lord has come back in. I started thinking better. I was able to relax and not be bottled down with the weights that I was carrying. I would be able to walk with the peace of God. No matter what you are going through and it looks like encourage yourself and someone else with God..
In this episode I discuss the role a coach, mentor, leader should play in our lives. If you take the role of a coach or leader you have a responsibility to that person. Don't settle for less than you deserve if that leader is not living up to your expectations.

The Promise of God for us Christians is not for sorrow, it takes Jeremiah 29:11 for Believers to understand that facing difficult situations today is not part of God's plan for us, however; He makes a way of escape for us. Take comfort in knowing that He never fails on His promise - Our role in this matter is best to trust and obey Him in-spite of the challenges or hardship that pose suffering via our paths, we must not give inn to the deceits and threats of the enemy, we do not settle for what God has not given to us - God's plan for us is great and regardless of our current situation, He can work through it to prosper us and give us a hope. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/david-okpara/message

Don't settle for less than God's best for your life. You may need to wait patiently for the best to come, but it's better to wait on it than to settle for something less.
Sometimes, we humans tend to settle for less than we deserve in life because of insecurities, societal pressure, or we may not even realize we're settling. When we settle, we often get into a pattern that leads to us eventually being disappointed. So today, we're going to chat about why settling can cause a snowball effect of unhappiness, and why it's important to set standards for what you deserve.
