The host's of CSN The Network Podcast return for part 2 of their interview with special guest, PJ Hairston, NBA veteran and Carolina legend. In the second installment of this interview, we take a deep dive into PJ's high school career, his experiences playing in the McDonald's All American game, the Jordan classic game in high school, and his UNC college days as well as his professional playing career. PJ's sophomore year at UNC he was the leading scorer on the team. We talk about his biggest influences on his game, and his biggest influences on him as a man. In this part of the interview, we really focus in on his playing days at the University of North Carolina, some of his biggest moments and experiences that he had at the Dean Smith center, what it means to be apart of the UNC and duke rivalry as well as addressing his final year at UNC with what happened with his eligibility. This was by far one of our favorite guests/interviews we have done as we are UNC fans on the podcast. The way he answered all of our questions, really detailing his experiences at UNC and the teams that he played on, where his team won the ACC title his freshman year. He played with: Tyler Zeller, Kendall Marshall, John Henson, Harrison Barnes, Reggie Bullock, and James McAdoo, all of which made it to the NBA. He played on some of our favorite UNC teams because of the depth of talent that they had. PJ was always a great scorer, and a great shooter, his experiences at UNC and in the NBA helped shape him into a better man, as he is a great dad who provides for his family. Look out for the come back tour as he is training to make his return to professional basketball. As always we appreciate the support, please continue to like, subscribe, share and view the content.

The Kentucky Wildcats aren't currently experiencing the level of success that is expected and typical in Lexington. Despite bringing back the reigning National Player of the Year, Oscar Tshiebwe, and other returning players along with high level freshmen like Cason Wallace, things aren't up to par for Coach Calipari. The thing is that things haven't been up to par for a couple years now. Are we to the point where we have a legitimate conversation about replacing Coach Cal and the massive buyout that would accompany such a decision? The North Carolina Tar Heels received commitments in the past week from two top-30 class of 2024 players – Elliot Cadeau and James Brown.Cadeau, the No. 1 PG in the class (top 10 overall) announced his commitment last Wednesday, followed by James Brown (top 5 C, top 30 overall) announcing on Monday, January 2.These two commitments give the Tar Heels the early lead in the 2024 recruiting cycle. Cadeau is a true playmaking, pass-first point guard, the likes of which UNC hasn't experienced since Kendall Marshall. The difference is that Cadeau is a more athletic player, the highest-ranked commit for UNC since Cole Anthony. Cadeau is already 18 and will possibly reclass to 2023, depending on how UNC's roster shapes up.Brown is a traditional big, who knows, and embraces, his role in the paint.
