On a night where the Kings would miss Domantas Sabonis and head coach Mike Brown, the Kings had to have the “next man up” mentality. And that's exactly what you got. Alex Len and Richaun Holmes did a very good job in providing some needed muscle in the paint against the 2-time MVP, Nikola Jokic. But the Nuggets were just too much in the 2nd half. The Pistons came into Golden 1 Center on Sunday night to face the Kings, and it was the first game of Marvin Bagley in the arena since the Kings traded him to Detroit. The fans showered him with boos every time he touched the ball and cheered every time he missed. But that wasn't the main story of the game, it was the ridiculous scoring. The Pistons came into this game the 29th ranked offense in the league and put up 129 points on the Kings despite missing their 3 of their best players. Now unlike other years, this Kings team has the firepower to match any team and they can simply outscore the team to win the game, which is what they did. A win's a win, you can't complain too much about it, but the messages from Head Coach Mike Brown is that while the offense is great and they're running on all cylinders right now, the Kings need to shore up their defense and play on that side of the ball much better to be a winner. The players know this, so it's on them to execute the defensive game plan the coaches draw up for them. In transaction news relating to the Kings, according to Shams Charania, teams such as the Suns have "inquired" about trading for Kings forward Harrison Barnes but in a separate report from James Ham, the Kings have no interest in trading Harrison Barnes currently. Richaun Holmes on the other hand, is available in talks. Week 11 in the NFL goes well for the 49ers as they stomp the Arizona Cardinal in Mexico City on route to their 6th win of the season. The 9ers showed what they could be at their best and may force the rest of the league to be wary of them come playoff time. Lastly, Fong has now finished Season 3 and just finished episode 2 of Season 4 of Game of Thrones. We discuss (spoilers) and talk about our initial reactions to (spoilers) as Fpng prepares for some of the golden seasons of the much acclaimed show. As the season gets closer to beginning, so too does the new cycle. In addition, they recap week 2 of the NFL and talk about the repercussions of the Trey Lance injury.
