North Carolina will have to turn over a new leaf next year when a name other than Armando Bacot will announced as the starting center. Does Hubert Davis believe that player is already on the roster in the form of Jalen Washington? Or will the coaching staff scour the transfer portal for some to challenge Washington for the starting job? North Carolina's offense and defense and Alabama's offense are all rated top-16 at KenPom in adjust efficiency. The outlier? The Crimson Tide defense which ranks outside the top 100. In fact, only seven teams in the nation surrender more points per game than Nate Oats' team. How will RJ Davis, Armando Bacot and company be able to exploit that matchup? On the flip side, Alabama's offense is electric, headlined by Mark Sears. North Carolina finally won at Virginia, for the first time since February 25, 2012. The did so despite stars RJ Davis and Armando Bacot having a combined two points at halftime. How so? DJ Burns averaging over 13 pts/game, and actually leads the team in assists with 28 overall this year, but Mo Diarra has been a little banged up and is a rim protector and rebounder, and Ben Middlebrooks hasn’t provided as much as expected   No. 11 UNC vs No. 7 Oklahoma: Game played at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, so home game for UNC? Third straight game vs. a ranked opponent on a neutral floor for Carolina What I like: RJ Davis, Harrison Ingram, Bacot - those three for the most part this season have been getting the job done; has there been a hiccup (Bacot vs Kentucky) - sure; but those three overall have been providing scoring night in and night out … RJ Davis is at the top, or near the top, of the ACC in scoring at 21.6/game, Ingram is shooting over 43% from three while also third on the team in assists, third in pts/game, and 2nd in rebounds, and Bacot is double-double player just about every night Something to keep an eye on: secondary scoring - Cormac Ryan was in an slump, but had 20 points against Kentucky; Elliot Cadeu leads the team in assists as a freshman with 40 this year, but still waiting for him to have that big scoring output … this team will need secondary scoring
