Blending past and present—from the peak of the steel industry to Hall of Fame induction weekends—the film reveals how a community shaped by struggle continues to produce excellence, asking a central question: How did one town create so many of the greatest players in football history?It is a remarkable story. Tressa had the joy and the honor of being part of the evening's festivities, which included a Q&A led by ESPN's Rich Eisen and she got to chat with the film's director, Jesse Washington, and Ty Law, from the red carpet. And then, from the world of print media:With the abundance of digital platforms and AI, you may find it surprising (and perhaps refreshing?) to hear that there's a new newspaper making its rounds in the Mt. Lebanon neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Now, it does exist online as well - but whatever way you choose to read it, the headline here is that its focus is on community-based journalism. The vast majority of contributors to the newspaper are residents of Mt. Lebanon - they have a deep desire to be part of telling the stories of their neighborhood.
