1 Corinthians chapters 12 through 14 provide the teaching on the miraculous gifts of the spirit that were given to believers in the early Church which is His Body. Signs, wonders, and miracles were common during Christ's earthly ministry and continued during the early Acts period after the death and resurrection of our Lord. They provided authentication of the messenger and the message as the Kingdom Gospel was preached to the Jews (Mk. 16). But when Paul was raised up as apostle of the Gentiles, there was a continuation of signs and wonders and Paul himself exhibited them authenticating his apostleship. But believers saved through Paul's preaching were given special gifts as well and that is the focus in these three chapters. Paul teaches there that those particular gifts were to be given and used only temporarily. So they would be passing away and the implication is that that would be sooner rather than later. Otherwise the exhortation would be somewhat meaningless. Next time we will get to the detailed teaching as to why these gifts would no longer be exercising the work of God. But in summary, it was so God's abundant grace might be fully displayed apart from the Kingdom Law and its preaching. For no longer was the coming Earthy Kingdom with its earthly powers in view but rather a heavenly citizenship with a correspondingly great difference in how godly power would be manifested. Now that power was to be exhibited through weakness as the apostle Paul so gloriously demonstrated in his life (2 Cor. 12).
To grasp Jesus's teaching on God's Kingdom, we must understand it operates on laws. These Laws are Biblical Truths that will not only give you a significant life, but also draw you closer to God. This message, “Understanding Part 2”, digs deeper into the Kingdom Law of Understanding. Nothing is more important nor more lacking in the Christian life than spiritual understanding.

Richard and Elaine testify of Jesus healing Rick of lyme disease. Please also listen to an earlier episode named 'How to Operate in Kingdom Law by Richard B. Busch as this is the very thing that Rick did ...this is the 'how to teaching'.
God has a certain way of doing things. It’s called Kingdom law. They never change. We’ve been taught differently. “Don’t put God in a box.” No one knows the mind of God. Don’t expect God to do the same thing twice. But God is constant. He established these laws for Adam, and for our benefit. This introduction to these principles begins with Lord Jesus as our example. Favoritism has no part in a life holding faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; our union with Christ, who perfectly fulfilled the law, frees us to live out the 'royal law' and love others as Christ has loved us.
Kingdom Economics: Financial Blessing And Security From The Father Session 4 July 8, 2018 Review: Provider vs. Warehouses Four (4) kinds of seed in Scripture The Kingdom Law of Seed (Galatians 6:7, 9) What you sow; later than you sow; more than you sow. The Incredible Investment of Sown Seed! (2 Corinthians 9:8-11) Intentional, desired sowing …. Genesis 2:8 …. 2 Corinthians 9:7 Sowing in season of adversity …. Genesis 26:1, 12 – 14 Sowing out of revelation (sacrificial sowing) Widow (Luke 21:2, 3) 100 fold return (Mark 10:29, 30) Sowing into needs of Kingdom ministry (2 Corinthians 9) The Kingdom Law of Financial Sowing and Reaping (2 Corinthians 9:6-15) 2 Corinthians 9:6, 7 – joyful, intentional 2 Corinthians 9:8 – grace – God’s favor and ability Abound – perisseuo – superabound; excess; overflow; be in abundance 2 Corinthians 9:11 – enriched …. ploutizo …. Made wealthy for a purpose 2 Corinthians 9:11-13 – for God’s glory and thanksgiving to Him! 2 Corinthians 9:14 – Recipients of prayer because of the Grace of God in you. [Genesis 8:22 …. “while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest …. Shall not cease.”]
Session 1 June 3, 2018 Overview: God owns it ALL; His children are Stewards (ones entrusted with another’s resources) The Father desires His children to have sufficiency and abundance: i.e. Adam, Eve were Supernaturally Blessed with resources and abilities. Abraham – Genesis 12; Covenant children (Deuteronomy 8:1-18; Proverbs 10:22; Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:8; III John 2) As a Loving Father, He has given us an incredible opportunity to invest in an eternal, Guaranteed plan of security and abundance. He wants us to come into our full inheritance as sons/daughters of Abraham. Our problem: My journey: missed opportunity, ignorance, disobedience. Grace during intense financial pressure: can expose deeper internal issues, i.e. fear, pride, etc. Can create atmosphere of searching for His promises in that area. Nothing tests our faith and trust like our finances. Principles: Kingdom Blessing involves a Partnership! We have been given, by our Loving Father an enormous opportunity to partner with Him in KINGDOM purpose, security and blessing! What we choose to do with our resources makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE! Genesis 1 – 3. Original Blessing was before original sin. Original sin involved Unbelief, disobedience in the area of consuming something that only God had the right to control. What we choose to do with our resources reveals our fundamental belief: Him or us as Sovereign, provider, defender, security. Financial partnership with the Father is not only an opportunity for blessing, but a responsibility to invest in God’s Kingdom. For example: The Tithe (tenth) What is it? The first ten percent portion of our income that God alone has the rights to. (Leviticus 27:30-32; Malachi 3:10, 11) Remember, some Old Testament “laws” were fulfilled and terminated by the Lord in the New Covenant. These were specifically addressed in the New Testament. Others were KINGDOM LAW and were perpetuated. (Remember Abraham, Melchizedek and Jesus. Hebrews 7) What place does it have? (Proverbs 3:9, 10) What if I/you got full Revelation that the tithe, 10% of all we receive, is HOLY (He alone has rights to it) What if God, our Loving Father, sees 10% of our income as HOLY and set apart for investment into His Kingdom purposes??? Where should it go? (Malachi 3:10, 11) Remember, Jesus, our High Priest, receives our tithes. (Hebrews 7) The storehouse was where God’s people received called-out ministry, teaching of the Word, Worship, Intercession, Blessing from Spiritual Leadership and more.
Sermon from the Sermon on the Mount
In this teaching Bruce unpacks the "giving" and "receiving" parts of Jesus' words, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive." He discusses what he calls the "law of flow"--that everything created, if alive, gives out and receives back as a primary dynamic of life. He counsels us to align ourselves with God's law by understanding and partaking in the giving and receiving of God's life in three areas: use of God's gifts in ministry, use of Scripture in prayer, and use of our resources. He notes that without participating in this "flow" through both giving and receiving, no Christian will be satisfied with any church, no matter how excellent the church, because receiving God's life flows from giving it away. He also touches on a challenge many of us have: wanting to be givers but not receivers, and how that problem can block the flow of God's life and resources into and through us.
Jesus tells us that our righteousness must exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees. In this section of the sermon on the mount Jesus outlines for us how we live righteously, that what we say and how we treat one another matter.
Jesus came to fulfill the law. As we posture ourselves in the kingdom we also are obedient through discipleship to participate in the heart of the law; to love God with all our heart, all our mind, all our soul, and to love our neighbor as ourself.
Adam preaches Matt. 5:38-42. Jesus again confronts the religious norms of His day. The Pharisees abused the Mosaic Law to allow personal retaliation, but Jesus outlined both the spirit of the Mosaic Law and the demand of the Kingdom Law for love.
