Everything in life is a seed. From the words we speak and the thoughts we meditate on to the faith we walk in, every choice we make is planting something that will eventually manifest. In this timely message, Pastor Brenda teaches you how to sow intentionally so you can step into the abundant life Jesus promised. If you are looking for encouragement, refreshing, and a boost to your faith, this service is for you!
Pastor Troy teaches on sowing and reaping as a generational principle, urging listeners to stop “prizing and protecting dysfunction” and to use their votes as a biblical responsibility, citing Proverbs 29:2 and noting early voting begins May 5. He calls Christians to engage government as the conscience of a nation, vote based on God's Word, and support consistent, qualified leaders.. He shares Ernie and Yolanda Lopez's testimony of decades of faithful giving, serving, patience, and faith leading to acquiring 430+ acres debt-free and launching a bird business, emphasizing that small seeds multiply into far-reaching impact. The message concludes with a salvation invitation and prayer.

In this Church on the Move Roswell message, Pastor Troy Smothermon teaches the biblical principle of sowing and reaping from Galatians 6:7, emphasizing that people sow not only actions but also attitudes, thoughts, words, and motives, which shape the harvest of their lives.Using Proverbs 4:23, Luke 6:45, Proverbs 18:21, and Jesus' teaching on secret things being revealed, he urges listeners to guard their hearts, take thoughts captive, speak life over family and future, and live with integrity, noting that private discipline brings public blessing and that today's seed can change tomorrow's harvest.
Pastor Troy Smothermon teaches that God has built a predictable harvest into our future through the principle of sowing and reaping: we reap what we sow, not what we want. Using Galatians 6:7 and other scriptures, he emphasizes that the seed determines the harvest, the harvest comes later than the seed—making time and patience a major test of faith—and the harvest is greater than the seed. He applies the principle to marriage, relationships, spiritual growth, and finances, stressing generosity and stewardship. He also teaches that God is the source and everything else is a resource, so believers should keep sowing and trusting God through the waiting.

On the In The Room podcast, Jonah welcomes Logan and Pastor Billy and discuss Pastor Troy's new sermon series on reaping and sowing, emphasizing the law of causality: every cause has an effect and every effect has a cause. They reflect on how words, habits, and choices function as “seeds” that produce corresponding outcomes in relationships, work, health, and spiritual life, citing Galatians 6:7 and the idea that you can't sow disorder and expect order. They contrast harmful seeds like constant complaining and doom scrolling with planting peace through structure, God's Word, and gratitude. Logan shares reconciling with someone at the gym as a seed that influenced his younger brother, while Pastor Billy describes years of prayer leading to his prodigal stepson's transformation. Logan also recounts finding faith in Teen Challenge after a 2019 suicide attempt and arrest.
In this message, Pastor Troy Smothermon compares unchanging natural laws like gravity and breathing to God's dependable spiritual laws, focusing on the law of sowing and reaping. Using Genesis 8:22 and Galatians 6:7, he teaches that what you sow is what you reap, every seed produces after its kind, and harvest is multiplied. He urges listeners to stop blaming chance, examine the “seed” behind their current “harvest” in relationships, work, and character, and repent by changing what they plant. He also emphasizes the time gap between sowing and reaping, calling for faith and patience (Ecclesiastes 3, James 5, Galatians 6:9, Hebrews 6:12).

As we finish our Easter Offering giving series we look at how the biblical law of proportion is connected to the law of sowing and reaping. The Apostle Paul teaches that we should not expect God to pour back into our lives in abundance if we are not willing to invest in His Kingdom in proportion to what we have (If a farmer plants a few seeds, he would be foolish to think he's going to reap a generous crop).
In this episode, Dr. Jim walks through the powerful biblical principle of sowing and reaping from Galatians 6. He challenges listeners to recognize that every choice—whether spiritual or fleshly—plants a seed that will eventually produce a harvest. With both warning and encouragement, this episode calls young people to live with eternity in view by sowing to the Spirit and responding rightly when God speaks to their hearts. Topics Discussed The unchanging law of sowing and reaping Sowing to the flesh vs. sowing to the Spirit Why consequences are inevitable and often greater than expected The importance of responding to conviction from God's Word Being “good ground” for spiritual truth How God uses believers to sow seed into the lives of others Living today with eternal impact in mind Key Takeaways Every action plants a seed, and every seed produces a harvest—no exceptions You can choose your sin, but you cannot choose your consequences Sowing to the Spirit happens through dependence on God's Word and the Holy Spirit Receiving and responding to truth is just as important as sharing it God uses ordinary conversations and moments to produce eternal fruit The harvest may take time, but it is always certain A life surrendered to God becomes both good soil and a faithful sower If you've been encouraged by this podcast, please take the time to give us a five-star rating and write a brief review. In 2 Corinthians 8–9, Paul turns to the collection for the saints in Jerusalem. But what could seem like mere fundraising becomes, in Paul's hands, a profound theological moment. The generosity of the Macedonians reveals what grace actually does: it produces joyful, self-giving love even in the midst of poverty and affliction. The Corinthians are invited to follow this pattern—not out of compulsion, but as a response to the grace they themselves have received. At the center of Paul's appeal stands the gospel itself: “Though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.” Christian generosity is nothing less than participation in the self-giving life of Christ.
This episode centers on the theme “Multiply,” teaching that whatever flows from a person's heart—through words, attitudes, and actions—is a seed that will eventually produce a corresponding harvest in their life and relationships. Drawing from Proverbs, the Gospels, and Paul's letters, the sermon emphasizes heart-level transformation over behavior management, encouraging listeners to seek personal repentance, ongoing dependence on Christ, and patience as new, godly seeds take time to bear fruit. The speaker explains that change is often invisible at first and may not be immediately recognized by others, but perseverance in sowing righteousness will lead to a different harvest in due season. Ultimately, the message calls believers to generously sow good seeds in every area of life, trust God with the outcome, and resist complacency by continually allowing God to do “new things” in the heart.

This is it. The grand finale of our KINGDOM IMPACT series—and we're finishing strong. In this powerful conclusion, Sow the Seeds, Pastor Travis Hearn delivers a message that digs deep beneath the surface of blessing and favor to expose the gritty, often unseen journey of spiritual growth. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Luke 6:38, and John 12:24, this message is a vivid, faith-stirring reminder: you can't reap what you haven't sown. We've shouted over fruit, but today we honor the seed. We've talked stewardship, generosity, sacrifice—and now, God is calling us to Sow Big. Because before there are roots... before there are shoots... before there's fruit... there must be seed. And that seed isn't just financial—it's personal. It's your heart, your life, your yes to God. You'll hear how the Corinthian and Macedonian churches inspired each other toward radical generosity, and how the soil of your life doesn't respond to promises—it responds to planting. Pastor Travis challenges us to stop asking, “Where is my harvest?” and start asking, “Where are my seeds?” This message is raw, real, and deeply revealing. It's a spiritual call to move from comfort to commitment, from intention to impact, from withholding to wholehearted worship. Let's make a Kingdom Impact.

The Scriptures are full of exhortation to persevere - stand firm, don't give up, do not grow weary. In this short message in our series on Sowing & Reaping, Rob shares some thoughts from Galatians 6 on why we sometimes grow weary doing good, and how to resist the temptation to give up.
