Content-Warnung: Depression, Suizid, Kindesmissbrauch (just all of it)

Varighed: 4:38

And now, for something completely different: in this episode, we review the Fathom Event we recently attended: a screening of Cowboy Bepop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door. It was a show turned into a movie Elizabeth used to like and she convinced Mike to see it. It being his first anime he'd ever seen, he was intrigued.
In which our heroes bebop their way around a (domestic) 15th anniversary screening of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door." Or maybe it's an international 20th anniversary screening if you're thinking about the show! It's a whole thing. [w/ special guest Blake Griggs]Plus: Poppy Take on "Christopher Robin!"

Bob Dylan's legendary songbook has survived the test of time by speaking to universal truths, spiritual longings, and personal heartache. Thousands of years earlier, Solomon spoke to the same themes in his mid-life journal known as Ecclesiastes. See how the wisdom of music and verse can point us to new meaning in the pursuit of success, accomplishment, and legacy.

Knockin' On Heaven's Door - Euan McCrindle by Every Nation Kirche Berlin
This week we go back 26 years for a fine second set from the Fall of 1987 - this again from the Henry Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland, this second set has a unique 'Uncle John's Band' opener.. and in fact a very tasty set list. They then move into a nicely jammed out version of Playin' In the Band.. we then make a stop at Terrapin Station - I believe they some interesting explorations in that jam after the song and heading into Drums.. they lead out into 'I Need A Miracle' but what may be the highlight for me is the Black Peter that follows. Jerry's voice is still in fine form and he does a great job on this one. The set ends with a standard but well played Throwin' Stones->Not Fade Away.. The boys seem to think their night is over after the 'Knockin' encore but the crowd will have none of it and calls them back for a second encore, 'One More Saturday Night'... Grateful Dead Henry J.
