Jim also asks Tausch for his thoughts on the breaking news that Bill Belichick is becoming the next head coach of North Carolina football and what NFL skills that the legendary coach could bring to the ever-evolving college game. Jim Rutledge and Alex Gravatt roll on after Matt Hamilton has to say goodbye to go throw some stones up in Canada, eh... After dropping to 5-6 and at risk of not making a bowl game for the first time in 23 years, Jim and Alex ask fans to play the blame game with who they think is "most responsible" for the current state of the Badgers' football program. Thy consult the fans on the phone line to discuss if the fault lies at the feet of Luke Fickell, AD Chris McIntosh or the recently-fired Phil Longo, or does the problem stem further back to Paul Chryst's regime? Plus, how do we now evaluate the decision to hire Luke Fickell nearly two years later? Mark Tauscher joins Jim Rutledge and Alex Gravatt to discuss the Packers' dominant 38-10 win versus the 49ers at Lambeau Field. First, they delve into the down-bad Badgers after the team's 44-25 loss to Nebraska on Saturday. Jim asks if this team is closer to the one we saw in a tight loss to No. 1 Oregon at Camp Randall or the one that was blown out twice by Iowa and now Nebraska? They also discuss the importance of keeping the program's 22-year bowl streak alive, and how the food in the press box in Lincoln compares to the cookies in Kinnick Stadium. They get back to the Packers, asking Tausch just how good he felt after Green Bay's dominant win against San Fran and how confident is he going into the Dolphins game on Thanksgiving night? A good example, I think, of why this was a high water mark in the band's performance history, this second set showcases their ability to improvise both in spots intended and unintended.  The latter I think, is shown in the opening 'Blow Away', which despite some forgotten lyrics and miscues turns into a fine opening number. The jamming in the 'Help>Slip>Frank', especially out of Franklins' and into a fine drums, is an example of some more expected, but nevertheless, successful creativity. Jim Rutledge and Molly Brown roll into Hour 2 with some more conversation about the sudden retirement of UVA basketball head coach and Wisconsin basketball icon Tony Bennett. To help provide more context on the legacy of the Bennett family in Wisconsin, Jim calls in his #1 "document-orian" Evan Cohen of Unsportsmanlike. Evan shares his special connection to Dick Bennett and the Bennett family from his time at UW-Madison, and he gives his opinion on our list of the greatest Wisconsin-born CBB coaches (including Tony Bennett, Rick Majerus, Shaka Smart and... no Greg Gard). Molly also gets personal with Evan about how he had to dispose of trash back when he lived in small-town Wisconsin, and Evan wants to know why Molly's husband is "cheating on her with another sports show"! They also delve into some of the great football coaches from Wisconsin and why Ben Brust is STILL on Jim Rutledge's mind! Jim and Molly continue talking trash with some of the most unbearable people -- litterers and garbage-burners. They wrap up with Throwing Stones, including takes on a missed opportunity with the Amazon delivery person and Kawhi Leonard's indefinite injury.

Jim Rutledge, Matt Hamilton and Molly Brown start Hour 2 with a review of today's poll question: with the Jets trading for Davante Adams today, which trade now looks better for the Packers -- Adams to the Jets or Aaron Rodgers to the Jets? Jim also makes the case that Davante could've still worked with the Packers even if he stayed on with Jordan Love and the Packers' budding receiver corps. Primetime asks for *wrong answers only* on how Matt burned his lip by "eating a boiling hot shell noodle". They also play Molly's Game (since Matt is out for the rest of the week), and they pick lines on the Lions-Vikings, Chiefs-49ers and Mets-Yankees! They hold off Throwing Stones to get HEATED on Daylight Savings and Jim's overbearing control over his home's heat in the fall. Throwing Stones includes takes on pro teams identifying by state rather than city, Tom Brady's getting approved as a minority owner of the Raiders, and Brady's nerdy color commentary.

They also review today's poll question about the NFC North (aka the NFL's most stacked division), asking if an NFC North team will WIN the Super Bowl this season? They transition from one dominant Wisconsin football win to another, as the Badgers also shocked everyone with a 42-7 handling of Rutgers in Piscataway! Braedyn Locke might be HIM, and are we in on the hunt for "Locketober" meme that Wisconsin football fans have created around their newfound love for Locke as quarterback? Jim asks the question: are you BACK in on the Badgers after their 42-7 win? How, or are, we re-adjusting our expectations after the Badgers got to 4-2, should we be chocking up a win versus Northwestern this week? Throwing Stones includes takes on the face of God blinding the fans and players at AT&T Stadium, a NFC North tight end who made the change to long snapper this week, and a Green & Gold twist on the classic Napoleon Dynamite outfit! Molly Brown leads the show through Molly's game, as Jim, Matt and Primetime gives their picks on Molly's bets related to Thursday Night Football, Jordan Love's passing yards, Badgers vs Rutgers and more! Throwing Stones includes takes on the neatest food competition in Stoughton, who the real NFC offensive player of the week should've been, and food (again). They shift gears to the NFC, as Jim, Matt & Molly give their first weekly power ranking of the top-10 teams in the NFC (until they decide 10 teams is actually to many...). Molly also explains her circular/triangular rationale for why the Packers shouldn't be above the Cowboys in the rankings. Throwing Stones includes takes on the needs for more tradesmen, shadow figures controlling hurricanes, and food rewards apps are just the best. Mark Tauscher joins Jim, Matt and Molly to discuss the latest in the Romeo Doubs situation after he returned to practice today along with his analysis of the Badgers' upcoming game versus Rutgers. First, he needs to address Matt Hamilton's "galactically stupid" take that Jordan Love actually made a smart play by throwing a pick-six rather than take a safety in Sunday's win over the Rams. Tausch couldn't believe it when he heard Matt's take from Monday, but is Matt still doubling down? Matt also asks Tausch about if the Badgers might have found their groove on offense and the running game during last week's blowout win against Purdue. Jim also asks Tausch for his most-unpopular food take, and Molly reveals why soggy salads are actually the best?!?! How does gold medalist Matt Hamilton define a true leader? The crew also plays What Matt Missed, including out-of-context audio about a BLEEPING fire on the football field, burning down an opponent's childhood home, and an upset Legend from Alabama. Primetime also forces the crew to review their preseason predictions at the quarter-mark of the season: Matt Hamilton called it on first coach fired, but how are the guys doing on their predictions for OROY, MVP and GENERAL bold take? They also get into the Badgers' dominant 52-6 win versus Purdue at Camp Randall. Do we feel like the Badgers found a new level, and why is Molly still reluctant to say Wisconsin team is bowl-good?
