Stephanie's approach to a painting is more subconscious work so she isn't able to create specific pieces for a specific subject.  Is that something you can do? We did here, and we thought we would share some photos from a special event that we did at Lowe Mill in Huntsville. We had a “hands - on concert.” We played a 45 minute set, and then we passed out about 35 bodhráns and taught the audience how to play a reel. They then joined us for a tune! Maureen R replied: "St. Patrick's Day is a family day, starting with donuts, then Mass at St. Colman, one of the oldest churches in Cleveland, that for decades had supported a largely Irish immigrant neighborhood. This Mass is the start of the day for the West Side Irish American Club. The dignitaries and club marching units from pipes and drums to tiny pom pom "Bridgies" march into the church with all the regalia of the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. Parts of Mass are read in Irish Gaelic, and familiar Irish songs and readings are shared. The lighting in the church is changed to green uplights and the hall is filled wall to wall with families in Irish sweaters and Irish pride. After Mass and the marching units parade out of the church, everyone heads to downtown Cleveland for the annual St. Patrick's Day parade, one of the largest of its kind in the U.S. and one of the only St. Patrick's Day parades that is always held ON the day. After the parade, families disperse to the many parties all around town. After marching in the parade, I will head off to entertain the crowds with my band, Ballinloch for the last performance of a two week non - stop Irish adventure."

Tina Cooley is far more than just a "cat lady". Tina is a long-time resident of Huntsville but grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA. She has a love for cars and racing and even named one of her children after a famous driver. Tina works for Hudson Alpha in the Finance department and she also goes into detail about some of the great work that her company is doing. But, we certainly made sure to spend a good deal of time talking about her idea for starting the Cattyshack, how the Cattyshack is different in how they do business, we talks about the process of fostering cats, and, more importantly, the process for adoption. It was a great episode! Cattyshack, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of shelter cats in Alabama. We provide food and medical supplies to our foster homes, as well as pay for all vet care. The Cattyshack Lounge, located at Lowe Mill, 2211 Seminole Drive, Studio 1062, Huntsville, AL 35805, is a resource for fundraising, socializing, and a way to increase cat adoptions. The Cattyshack Lounge is designed to allow humans to relax, decompress, and enjoy everything from bouncy kittens to fat furry lugs. The donation you make for your reservation includes a beverage and a pre-packaged snack and goes right back into our rescue to pay vet bills and buy food, litter and medications. So find a comfy spot and wait for the magic to happen!! Schedule your visit on our Reservations Page. Cat adoptions involve filling out a non-binding application. Please plan to come back to the Lounge at a later date (usually the following weekend) to pick up your kitty. Please understand that only one volunteer is working applications, and it takes time to diligently process each one. This may include phone or in-person interviews, vet reference checks, contacting a personal references, landlords and apartment management, requesting photos of your home or even doing a home visit. To find out more about how the adoption process works, check out Our Kitties.

I attend the concert where I believe I will meet Laura and she was not there I continue to hope that I will meet her in 21 more days I've only sold 2 books in the first few days and I prayed for God to encourage me and He leads me to 2 Corinthians 4:1 By October 24th, I've sold about 15 books the first day, 7 of them were to my mom. I will NOT strive to promote this ministry or my book, but will trust God to promote it I go to Lowe Mill with my parents and give away two books, one to the most loving husband and wife I've ever seen Explaining how The Father's Love Letter Tract is actually a Heretical teaching about who God really is An amazing sighting of 777 and 212 right in the middle of making a message about faith Commentary: You are pleasing God in ways you cannot imagine right now if you are trusting Him for anything by faith, whether you receive it or not. May 8th 2020 - Filled with a strong sense of joy and hope that God is going to bless me See 919 and shortly after that I receive a job offer for a marketing position for a church from pastor Dan and then I see a 525 My mother continues to doubt I'm hearing from God correctly and I keep telling her to just keep watching Commentary about Chelsea's prophetic shark and snake dreams Recorded call with Chelsea as she tells of her dreams Thoughts after a long talk with the children and Ashley tells me that their grandfather doesn't like me and it bothers her The incredible blessing God has given me to protect my heart from anger and bitterness from all this parental alienation The counsel I gave Nathan about dealing with the hurtful things his grandfather says to him I've listened to Charles Stanley Message "When Faith Waivers" at least 20 times now. I'm amazed with gratitude about how strong my faith has become as I look back on all the times I almost wanted to quit! I'm still hoping for and believing the Lord for Laura one day I'm still believing that someone will perhaps make a large donation to the ministry to help me get my head back above water My prayers for my friend Jeremiah to promote the RelentlessHeart ministry from his concert stage on Friday night at Lowe Mill Commentary about another example of how often I am wrong when I conjecture, presume and assume about how, when, and where God will answer my prayers Strong temptations when I meet a woman on the mountain who looks very similar to Laura When I get back to the parking lot, that woman's car is the only other one in the lot My mom says the woman she sees at Lowe Mill, that she believes is Laura, seems to her to be too worldly to be someone I would be interested in as a wife Feeling indignation towards how little discernment the body of Christ has when a lady I know tells me that her church is embracing "Rob Bell" teachings.

Another amazing 11:11 prophetic warning from God about the woman who continues to pursue me and then she shows up at Starbucks right afterwards Called up to the mountain to fight for my faith in the midst of discouragement about my faith for Laura Hoping my friend Jeremiah will share his testimony from the stage at Lowe Mill and possible mention Relentlessheart.com for promotion A blessed encounter with a youth minister on the top of the mountain I told the Lord that I'm no longer afraid of my pride and that I'm ready for Him to promote my ministry God answered my prayers to heal my knee and the cancerous spot on my arm with no need for a doctor visit. Praying for God to promote the ministry and He shows me 11:22 Mark 11:22 Feeling nervous on the way to Lowe Mill after all my prayers for Him to promote me and to hopefully have Laura hear about RelentlessHeart Nothing ends up happening that night. My friend did not promote the ministry and I did not see Laura, yet I remain in peace trusting God I tried to put my story on YouTube for the 1st time, and I received two copyright strikes and YouTube restricted my video length to 15 min now so I cannot put my story up on YouTube. Another terrible dream about my ex-wife Commentary: Memorizing the word in your mind will do nothing for you if it's not obeyed from the heart Nathan reading Hebrews 11 as his memory verse. Capturing my thoughts on how I have been able to go this long, walking by faith alone, in the darkness, with almost no improvement or change in my circumstances Commentary: Faith for the eternal is a higher faith than faith for the temporal On May 19th 2014, I have only 115 subscribers after almost two years of work for the Lord and only about 30 people are watching consistently The only way I make it is by daily intentional dependence on God

AL.COM Reckon's managing producer John Hammontree stops by to talk about the recent General Election and his article 'Autopsy Report: Democrats On What Went Wrong in 2018'. We'll also celebrate Community Newsroom producer J'Que's one-year anniversary as a volunteer producer, and Dorrie Nutt talks to folks attending the recent Huntsville Community Chorus performance of Hodie at First Baptist Church.   WANT TO CHECK OUT THE CHEMISTRY FIREWORKS SHOW? It happens shortly after 10pm on Saturday November 17th. Just find somewhere that you can see the Saturn V rocket. Don't go to the US Space and Rocket Center since it will be closed! Then, tune your radio to 89.3 WLRH Huntsville Public Radio and listen as the commentators give you a chemistry breakdown of the colors and sounds you see and hear created by each rocket. Have fun!

Welcome back to Creator Spotlight, where we sit down with creatives within the geek and gaming spaces and talk about what they how, how they do it, and tips for others to motivate others to do their own creative projects! It's has been a little while, but we here at Rocket Punch decided to make a few changes to the format of Creator Spotlight, the first of which is that episodes going forward will be integrated into the Rocket Punch Cast feed, so that more listeners can enjoy all the awesome interviews that we do! We have also expanded the interview format, which allows us to talk about more and dig deeper with the creatives we talk to, in order to provide you a better experience when we feature them. As always, keep sending us feedback to let us know how we are doing! The great thing about art is that it is extremely expressive; there are so many varieties and differences out there in the world that you'll never see the same piece twice. Plus, you can also look at art and see the motivations, experiences, and influences the artist applied to their work, which deepens their pieces. So, when we came across the work from Peter Lucker (pronounced "l-oo-ker"), aka FLOAT, in Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment Building in Huntsville, AL, we just couldn't pass on the chance to have him in to the studio to talk to us on the podcast! FLOAT, formerly out of Atlanta, GA, now lives and works in Huntsville, AL, making some incredible pieces at Lowe Mill and commissions for other customers. Having a hard time sitting still, he is always trying out new ways to create, and being self taught, he is always exploring new techniques and expanding his skill set into new avenues. Specializing in stenciling, FLOAT has learned to blend that in conjunction with free hand painting to create his finished pieces for people enthralled by his artwork.  Using cartoons, comics, Sci-fiction, fantasy, graffiti and street art as inspiration, FLOAT has been bringing his own spin to canvas painting, custom collectables, murals, furniture refurbishing, sticker/t-shirt design, logo design, and more. Join us as we chat with FLOAT about how he got his start in the artistic world, where he came up with his specific stylistic art, as well as discussing his experiences creating art within a large tech and engineering-minded city such as Huntsville, some successes and struggles he has had as an artist, the hurdles that come with creating your own small business, and more!
