Volk Slavc se je skotil v Sloveniji in prehodil več kot 1500 kilometrov do Italije, kjer je ustvaril nov zarod. Njegova sled nas uči, da prihodnost ne pomeni vrnitve v idilo preteklosti, temveč zahteva nenehno pogajanje: med človekom in divjino, med redom in kaosom, med strahom in upanjem. To občutijo tudi na Blokah, ki so eno izmed območij v Sloveniji, kjer je srečanje z medvedom skorajda nekaj vsakdanjega, domačini pa pogosto naletijo tudi na sledi volkov in risov.
