North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro has had some huge news in the past week.  The world class chimpanzee troop just added a newcomer with the birth of  Gerre’s the chimpanzees new baby.  Is it a boy or girl?  We’ll find out with Jodi Wiley, Supervisor of the troop & Debbie Fuchs, spokesperson for the NC Zoo.  Plus, how do the other chimpanzees react to the birth (& how did they react to the death of Ruthie in December). The Outdoor Guys are excited to learn about the wild closer to home with the NC Zoo.

Lakita Adams is the state director for the North Carolina chapter of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Lakita's interest in the UFO subject began when she was nine years old, and witnessed a large fireball with her parents.  In high school, she wrote her first research paper on the subject of UFOs, and for the last 12 years has studied the subject. In 2011, she became a MUFON Field Investigator in North Carolina, and has investigated over 100 cases. She has a BA in English from UNC-G, and has taught in the Randolph County Schools, Randolph Community College and the NC Zoo, where she was an environmental educator for several years.
