In October of 1991 Urban's body was discovered 70km away from where the New Zealand Police said it should be, when it was discovered up a forest road in Parakiwai, near Whangamata.Yet despite this contradictory new evidence and the eventual discovery that a key witness had committed perjury, David Tamihere was not successful in his appeals and served 21 years before being paroled in 2010.To this day Tamihere has always maintained his innocence, that he never met the Swedish couple, and he certainly never murdered them.It was almost three years ago, in December of 2023 that I released the final official episode of Season three of GUILT - Finding Heidi. This episode was the last in what had been an eight month investigation by myself to try and get to the truth, and more importantly to try and find Heidi.Since the release of that episode my work has not stopped, in fact it has amplified, as I've worked with the New Zealand Police to ensure that fresh evidence I've uncovered has been actioned appropriately with one final goal in mind, to find Heidi.Over this series of episodes which I'm calling Finding Heidi - Part Two Endgame, you're going to hear the story of this year's work, and how it led to a recent event, which I believe is the most important development in this case in 30 years..Everything you're going to hear is new, and has never been heard before. And by the end, this case will never be the same again.Guilt is a 100% Independent Podcast. It's playtime! Pop Screen is starting a themed month on "autobiopics" - films where pop stars play themselves, but in a different context to the standard rock doc. The nearest we'll get to documentary is this film by Morgan Neville, which sees Pharrell Williams talk about his incredible career and range of star collaborators - Kendrick Lamar, Gwen Stefani, Jay-Z and more - through the medium of, er, Lego.Joining regular host Graham, Mark Harrison talks about the history of "brickfilms", the Lego franchise's move from studio to studio, and the vexed question of whether 'Happy' is annoying or not. We also talk about the film's insight into creativity, the other Pharrell Williams movie directed by Michel Gondry that you'll never see, and, of course, try to imagine what he thought he was doing with that bloody hat. It's the podcast of the summer! Our Patreon brings all the boys to the yard, and no wonder - we've just launched Graham and Mark Cunliffe's exclusive new arts and culture podcast The Arts Hole there. You'll find that along with Patreon exclusive episodes of this show - listen to the end to find out what's next - written articles about The Twilight Zone and Doctor Who, and much more. Ambriidawg joins Target Talk to talk about the creative path that led her to launch Dawgii and what it has taken to bring the brand to life. She reflects on when clothing first started standing out to her, where her creativity lived before fashion, and how the idea for Dawgii slowly turned into something real. The conversation gets into the early challenges, the learning curve of building a brand from scratch, and the parts of the process people usually do not see.We also talk about the latest Dawgii drop, what mattered most while putting it together, and which pieces mean the most to her now that they are out in the world. More than anything, this episode is about trusting your instincts, staying patient through the slow parts, and building something that actually reflects you.Follow her: @ambriidawgFollow the brand: @dawgii.coShop Dawgii: dawgiiclothing.com
From vengeful spirits and haunted houses to ghost trains, talking cats, and a lake monster with a taste for swimmers — these chilling tales will make you think twice before laughing off April Fools Day.IN THIS EPISODE: This episode was originally aired on April 1st, 2019. Many podcasts and YouTube channels today are taking advantage of the date on the calendar and playing practical jokes on their subscribers in celebration of All Fools Day. I admit, I was tempted to begin a story and then Rick-Roll you, but instead I thought it might be fun to bring some dark stories into today's podcast that have a funny or amusing twist to them. Still creepy, but comical as well. I don't believe any of these stories are true – but that doesn't mean they're not entertaining.CHAPTERS & TIME STAMPS (All Times Approximate)…00:00:00.000 = Show Open00:01:21.425 = Bear Lake Monster00:03:29.452 = Ghost On The Tracks00:05:47.652 = I'm Coming Down Now00:09:43.960 = Never Mind Them Watermelons00:12:34.287 = Piece By Piece ***00:15:07.559 = That Pesky Fellow00:18:52.740 = The Black Cat's Message00:25:43.291 = The Skeleton00:29:21.544 = Tommy Knockers ***00:33:07.038 = Wait Until Emmet Comes00:35:58.838 = You Can't Get Out00:37:32.993 = Turnabout Is Fair Play00:41:38.576 = Show CloseSOURCES AND RESOURCES FROM THE EPISODE…All stories in this episode were gathered and rewritten by S. Mosaics are defined as a picture or pattern produced by arranging together small colored pieces of hard material, such as stone, tile, or glass, resulting in the creation of something often ornate and beautiful. Sometimes, mosaics tell the story of what was, what is, or what can be…. Each mosaic is uniquely different and yet shares a common history - simply created from something else. As I was putting together this podcast episode, I couldn't help but think about our lives that resemble mosaics in that we set out to create a plan or pattern that is predictable, or so we'd like to think, like a ceramic, glass or stone object, when in actuality, it can often be quite different. Sometimes our life plan is shattered, and it takes strength, energy, and determination to keep moving forward to put the pieces back together to form a new life plan; each time we experience this manifesting into a new life plan, we build our resilience and become perhaps more strategic or smarter in putting pieces together, and sometimes, the circumstances make it harder than we could ever have anticipated… such circumstances are poverty and homelessness. Piece by Piece is an employment-related social enterprise designed to support individuals who have experienced homelessness or economic insecurity. Participants create mosaic art, as well as small-scale housewares and large commissioned pieces, and by doing that, earn income and master soft skills while beautifying Los Angeles; one of their mantras is: Recycled Art for a New Cycle of Life. Please check out their website: www.piecebypiece.org Their new address is: 6417 South Main Street, Los Angeles, CA. 90003

This week's Empire Podcast isn't so much jam-packed as marmaladen with great guests, as Chris Hewitt talks to Paddington In Peru stars Hugh Bonneville and Emily Mortimer (the new Mrs. Brown) about tarantulas, Paddington tantrums, and shooting in the wilds of Basingstoke [20:47 - 35:27 approx]; the great British director Andrea Arnold about her new film, Bird, working with non-actors, and shooting in Gravesend [51:56 - 1:07:39 approx]; and Agatha All Along showrunner Jac Schaeffer, in an extended excerpt from our spoiler special interview, about [SPOILER], [BIGGER SPOILER] and shooting in [SPOILER]. Listen to that one only once you've seen Agatha All Along, naturally. [1:34:29 - 1:50:10 approx] Then, Chris is joined in the podbooth by Helen O'Hara, James Dyer, and Alex Godfrey for a merry old show in which they break down their viewing habits, discuss the week's movie news (and yes, this was recorded before the news broke about Simon Kinberg writing a new Star Wars trilogy; we'll discuss that next week), and review Paddington In Peru, Blitz, Bird, Piece By Piece, and Red One. Orange you glad you picked this episode? Enjoy.

Pharrell Williams is—well, let me just say, he's a big reason why Song Exploder exists. He's a singer, songwriter and producer, and in the 90s, when I first heard the work that he was doing with the Neptunes, which was his production duo with Chad Hugo, it blew my mind. It made me want to know where those sounds came from and where those ideas came from. Pharrell has won 13 Grammys. He's been nominated for two Oscars. He's produced iconic songs for Kendrick Lamar, Britney Spears, Clipse, Gwen Stefani, and so many others. And on his own, he's made songs like “Happy,” the giant hit for Despicable Me that was the best-selling song of 2014. And now, there's a movie about his life called Piece by Piece. But it's an animated Lego film. For this episode, I talked to Pharrell about the title song from Piece By Piece. So, coming up, you'll hear how Pharrell built that song, including a first draft that never saw the light of day. You'll hear how he built “Piece by Piece” by programming it, on his own, with MIDI instruments, and then adding and replacing those parts with other musicians, including the high school marching band that he used to play in. This week, David is still absent, so Katey, Patches, and Da7e talk about superhero TV with Penguin on Max and Agatha All Along on Disney Plus, then Patches wonders if we have to endorse an American political candidate before Katey and Da7e break down the surprising and kind of beautiful(?) Pharrell documentary in Lego: Piece […]
Sean is joined by Chris Ryan to break down ‘Saturday Night,' Jason Reitman's quasi-historical exploration of the beginnings of 'Saturday Night Live' (10:00). They discuss the disbelief that needs to be suspended, as well as the more or less knockout cast, before launching into their top five “backstage” movies and discussion of why it's so interesting to pull back the curtain in cinema (44:00). Then, Sean is joined by New York Times pop critic and ‘Popcast' host Jon Caramanica to review ‘Piece by Piece,' the Pharrell Williams biopic told through Lego animation (1:07:00). They discuss the format, the content, the interviews, and how effectively it does or doesn't capture the totemic career of Williams and his lasting impact on pop music. MUSICMTV celebrated the 40th anniversary of its Video Music Awards with plenty of looks back at classic moments and a few glimpses of what we might be seeing in the future.Jon Bon Jovi had an interesting encounter while in Nashville Tuesday. While crossing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge over the Cumberland River around 6 p.m. for a video shoot, he came upon a woman who appeared to be getting ready to jump. He reportedly spoke with her and convinced her otherwise. Jerry Cantrell hinted to 'Loudwire' about what's coming from Alice in Chains. He's focused on celebrating his new solo album, 'I Want Blood', for now but said, "There's a couple of things that we're working on, like non-album related.
