I do this so you can be present among it too, imagining its current condition and future characteristics. This week, our guest is Jeff Hiller. The veteran comedian and actor is hardly a newcomer, but it's his recent role on the television series Somebody Somewhere that has finally brought him widespread recognition. In 2025, he earned an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for that performance. Hiller talks about the journey in his memoir, Actress of a Certain Age: My Twenty-Year Trail to Overnight Success.  Fans have appreciated his captivating and heartfelt humor for decades at stand-up shows; in theater performances including Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Tempest, and most recently the 2025 revival of Urinetown; and on television series like 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Community.On May 8, 2026, Hiller came to the Sydney Goldstein Theater in San Francisco to talk to Poulomi Saha about comedy, friendship, and success.  Saha is an English professor and the Co-Director of the Program in Critical Theory at UC Berkeley.  The evening was co-presented with San Francisco Public Library and a supporting non-profit, Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.

VOV1 - Ngày 23/4, một vụ va chạm tàu hỏa nghiêm trọng xảy ra tại Đan Mạch đã khiến ít nhất 17 người bị thương, trong đó có 5 trường hợp trong tình trạng nguy kịch.Theo thông tin từ giới chức địa phương, vụ va chạm tàu hoả xảy ra vào 6h30 sáng 23/4 (theo giờ địa phương). Hai đoàn tàu chở khách đã đâm trực diện vào nhau trên tuyến đường sắt địa phương nối giữa hai thị trấn Hillerød và Kagerup, thuộc khu vực Bắc Zealand, cách thủ đô Copenhagen khoảng 40km về phía Bắc. Tại thời điểm xảy ra va chạm, có tổng cộng 38 người (bao gồm hành khách và nhân viên) có mặt trên cả hai đoàn tàu.Vụ việc đã khiến ít nhất 17 người bị thương, trong đó có 5 trường hợp đang trong tình trạng nguy kịch và đã được đưa đến bệnh viện bằng trực thăng quân sự và xe cứu thương chuyên dụng. Lực lượng cứu hộ, cảnh sát và nhân viên y tế đã được huy động trên quy mô lớn để triển khai công tác cứu nạn và hỗ trợ hành khách.Hiện nguyên nhân vụ va chạm vẫn chưa được xác định.
