Join Bay City Director Tamara Schlatter, Saginaw Campus Pastor Sam Burke, and Senior Pastor Josh Pardee as they explore the message from week 5 of our current series titled Everything Sad Untrue.
What if death isn't the end of the story? What if everything broken is on its way to being restored? The Bible tells us that Jesus' resurrection was just the beginning—that one day, He will return, the dead will rise, and God will bring ultimate justice and renewal. What happens when we die? Who will stand before God in judgment? And what does eternity really look like? In this series, we'll explore the future God has promised—one where sorrow fades, justice prevails, and everything sad comes untrue.
In this episode, part of our ongoing series focusing on the pastoral planning initiative ‘All Things New,' we hear a conversation between Amy Hoeschen, administrator for the One in Faith ACC and Jessica Goebel, human resources coordinator for the diocese of Saint Cloud. They share about their experience as lay faithful in the Church and how their choice to enroll in the Emmaus Institute program not only helped them grow in knowledge of Church history and teaching, but provided the foundation for their lives as lay leaders.

What does it mean when God says, “Behold, I am making all things new”? In this Easter message, All Things New, Pastor Tyler Lynde explores the stunning vision of restoration found in Revelation 21:1-8. This isn't just about going to heaven—it's about the complete transformation of creation, relationship, and experience.Tyler begins by showing us that God's plan is not to repair the broken world, but to recreate it. The new heaven and new earth will be free from natural disasters, decay, and death. As beautiful as parts of our current world may be, they are merely glimpses of what's to come. Revelation 21 opens our eyes to the breathtaking scale of God's restoration—where everything wrong is made right. But it's not only the physical world that will be renewed. Tyler highlights the restoration of relationship at the core of the passage: “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.” Since the fall, humanity has been separated from God, but in the new creation, this relationship will be fully restored. No more barriers, no more distance—just perfect communion with our Creator. Then there's the emotional restoration. “He will wipe away every tear… death shall be no more… neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain.” This vision offers a powerful contrast to the world we live in now—a world filled with suffering, anxiety, and loss. Tyler reminds us that in Christ, we don't just look forward to healing—we're promised complete renewal. Most importantly, this newness isn't only for the future. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” When we respond to Jesus in repentance and faith, God begins His renewing work now. Through the Holy Spirit, we're empowered to live differently today, even while we wait for the ultimate restoration. But Tyler also doesn't shy away from the urgency of the moment. Revelation 21 ends with a warning for those who reject this invitation. Eternity is on the line, and we're called to respond—to repent, believe, and receive the free gift of salvation. This message is a celebration of the resurrection, a call to transformation, and a reminder that the best is yet to come.We are Trinity Community Church in Knoxville, Tennessee.Subscribe to our Podcast & YouTube channel to find past sermons, classes, interviews, and more!Find us on Facebook & Instagram

Amanda Hunter's journey from the depths of addiction to a life of purpose and peace illuminates the extraordinary power of redemption. Born into a military family without spiritual foundation, Amanda's early experimentation with substances at age 13 set the stage for decades of struggle. The absence of faith left her vulnerable to toxic relationships, depression, and ultimately a devastating spiral into prescription drug abuse that evolved into heroin and methamphetamine addiction. The turning point came dramatically—a high-speed police chase through Destin ending in her arrest with 47 criminal charges. It was rock bottom. Face down in the dirt, handcuffed, Amanda believed she had nothing left to lose. But within the confines of Okaloosa County Jail, she encountered Jesus. Through studying Ephesians, she discovered her battles weren't merely chemical imbalances as doctors had claimed, but spiritual warfare that required spiritual solutions. What makes Amanda's testimony particularly powerful is her raw honesty about recovery. After 16 months in jail, Stephanie McMinn from the Yellow House offered her an alternative to prison—a faith-based recovery program that required her to face her emotions without medication. "It wasn't graceful," Amanda admits. The healing journey meant confronting perfectionism, control issues, and learning to receive love after years of abuse had taught her to expect harm from relationships. Most challenging was forgiving herself.Today, Amanda manages All Things New, a nonprofit gift shop where she mentors women walking similar paths. Her message transcends mere sobriety—it's about an "upside-down kingdom" where what the world labels failure becomes part of a beautiful testimony. For anyone feeling hopeless, her words resonate with quiet authority: "He delights in you, even in your mess. He's never taken His eye off of you." Amanda's life stands as living proof that relationship with Jesus changes everything, not by avoiding pain, but by finding purpose within it.Take your first step today. Read God's Word. Find a Christ-centered community. Your road to redemption awaits. For more information contact us atrtrdestiny@gmail.com

Summary of "New Creation Realities" by Dr. Bryan Hudson (by OpenAI) Dr. Bryan Hudson's sermon, "New Creation Realities," is based on 2 Corinthians 5:17-18, emphasizing the transformative power of being in Christ. The central theme is "All Things New", which highlights how a believer's identity and reality change upon salvation. Key Themes & Takeaways: Being "In Christ" is the Core of Transformation The phrase “in Christ” is the foundation of the believer's new reality. It signifies hope, a factual change, and a solution to life's struggles. All true solutions begin in Christ, as opposed to worldly affiliations or ideologies. The Reality of the New Creation Old things pass away, and all things become new in Christ. This isn't just an improved version of the old self, but a complete transformation. The "if-then" condition: If someone is in Christ, then transformation occurs. Living Out the New Creation Reality Believers are no longer defined by past failures, sins, or mindsets. A shift must take place: Stop holding on to old habits, relationships, or mindsets that contradict the new life in Christ. The "behold" in the passage calls for awareness and recognition of this remarkable change. Transformation is Like a Caterpillar Becoming a Butterfly Just as a caterpillar undergoes metamorphosis, a believer experiences a profound change. The outward appearance might seem familiar, but the nature and capacity have changed. This transformation is an ongoing work of renewal, restoration, and rebirth. Each One, Reach One – An Inclusive Gospel The message of salvation is for anyone who comes to Christ. Christianity is not an exclusive club, but a body where all are welcome. Avoid religious elitism—true faith is about relationship, not just religion. Applying the Reality of the New Creation Being new in Christ means not carrying old baggage into the new life. The church must reflect inclusivity and not build unnecessary barriers. Faith, not feelings, should define identity—believers must trust in what they believe over how they feel. Encouragement to Embrace Transformation Let go of old things—mindsets, habits, even certain relationships that hinder growth. Recognize that God doesn't just give new things; He makes all things new. Trust in the continuous work of God's transformation in your life. Final Message: Dr. Hudson calls believers to fully embrace their new creation identity, let go of the past, and live in the renewed reality of Christ's transformation. The change isn't just superficial—it is a complete reformation of the heart, mind, and life. “I am a new creation in Christ.”

In "All Things New," Pastor Micah Stephens delves into the book of Revelation, navigating through its daunting imagery to highlight the ultimate message of hope and renewal. He portrays the biblical narrative as a journey from judgment and wrath to the joy of resurrection, renewal, and eternal glory. Pastor Stephens suggests that many of life's struggles stem from a deep-seated homesickness for heaven, our true intended home. He encourages believers to remain engaged in the work God has for us on earth, even as we yearn for the perfection that awaits us in the new creation.Verse References: Revelation 21 verses 1-5, Make sure you subscribe to this channel and follow us on all our platforms to always stay up to date with our latest content! And you can always head over to our website for any general information!https://godspeak.comPrayer/NeedsIf you have any needs, or have a willingness to be used to meet various need in the body, please email info@godspeak.com.
