Robert Ray Shafer is an American character actor who has appeared in film, television, commercials, voice-over and theater. Shafer, sometimes credited as Bobby Ray Shafer, is perhaps best known for playing Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration on the American sitcom The Office, and has amassed a substantial cult following for his portrayal of Officer Ted Warnicky (more commonly known as Joe Vickers) in the 1989 horror-comedy Psycho Cop and the sequel Psycho Cop Returns. On today's episode, we chat with Bobby about everything from getting Mike Tyson & Robin Givens drunk to him working with Julie Strain and partying with Christopher Lambert and being invited to David Niven Jr's Wedding! This one was a lot of fun and Bob's a great story teller so come check it out !https://www.cameo.com/bobby_rayhttps://www.deluxeedition.showhttps://www.instagram.com/deluxeditionpodhttps://www.twitter.com/deluxeditionpodSUPPORT THE SHOW:https://www.patreon.com/deluxeditionpodFOLLOW RAY:https://open.spotify.com/show/2Icote9QnVOVQ9QiWUcSQL?si=4e1b361875904e77&nd=1https://www.instagram.com/10centbeerkhightpodcastMERCH:https://whatamaneuver.net/collections/deluxe-editionJoin this channel to get access to perks:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcKR-qeXy1KyPj3w4cxgOYw/joinSupport the showCheck out all of our previous shows at https://www.deluxeedition.show

Slashtober slices it's way back into your homes, w/ yet another gruesome competitor entering the tournament. This time it's the Adam Rifkin 90's slasher, PSYCHO COP RETURNS, also featuring Flesh Wound After Dark fave, Julie Strain. Smash that notification bell, thumbs up our videos, & all that good stuff to help the channel grow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkJq7QcfGyI
“Burn in Hell, you little ninny!” It's after hours in a high-rise office building. Brian and some buddies are throwing a raucous bachelor party, which includes strippers, booze, drugs…and a Satan-worshipping Psycho Cop! This time on The Blind Rage Podcast, it's Bobby Ray Shafer in the 1993 cult classic PSYCHO COP RETURNS, a movie that is pure entertainment from the very first frame, which includes a slow-motion shot of our anti-hero lifting a coffee cup to his lips. It's not high-art, nor does it pretend to be. It's a thin story with lots of blood, guts, sex, and violence, everything that made straight-to-video features from this era great. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/blindragepod/message
This week we are discussing "Psycho Cop Returns" which has one of the greatest horror villains of all time in Officer Joe Vickers played by last week's guest Robert Shafer. Robert delivered some epic one-liners after some epic kills with some beautifully executed special effects. We talked about the annoying leads, Bryan vs Ryan, Julie Strain, the soundtrack, the Oscar Winner who was in this movie, and so much more. This a video review that you can watch at sequelsonly.com/psychocopreturns The next sequel we are reviewing is “Superman II" and it just so happens to be the 40th anniversary from when it flew into theaters on June 19th, 1981 and we interviewed the Actor who played "Non", Jack O'Halloran. On-screen he is a man of few words but he was once a big-time heavyweight boxer. We talked about growing up in Philadelphia, a phone call from Muhammad Ali, fighting George Foreman, and of course his acting career. We had such a good time discussing INVISIBLE MANIAC a few years back, why not dive into another questionable Adam Rifkin movie? We've made worse decisions than watching 1993's PSYCHO COP RETURNS, so To our credit, we didn't even know he left, but he's back to make puns and stare at buns. Oh, and kill as many people as possible for no apparent reason. He's also apparently a Satanist? Who cares, this plot is a mess...
