The Trump defense rested today in the criminal hush money trial without calling the former president to the witness stand after he said at one point that he'd testify. The trial is adjourned until next Tuesday when closing arguments are expected. CNN legal commentator Robert Ray, counsel to former President Trump in his first impeachment trial, and former New York Supreme Court judge Diane Kiesel break down what happens next. Plus, a video was posted on the former president's Truth Social account Monday that included images of a fake newspaper article that contained the words "unified Reich." The video was removed from his account Tuesday morning, and a Trump campaign spokesperson said in a statement that the video was not created by the campaign and was “reposted by a staffer who clearly did not see the word, while the president was in court.” CNN political commentators Van Jones and Alyssa Farah Griffin talk about how something like this happens and why it took so long to take it down. Have you ever spoken to someone and felt like you had been friends forever? That was my feeling when I initially met Dr. Ola Alabi at the wedding of a mutual friend. We discussed our transition to the US and our approach to medical school applications and finances (which 100% affects the decision to pursue medical education). We also discuss our experience with racism as trainees by highlighting an experience shared by Dr. Robert Ray. https://rrayjr.blog/2023/06/15/racism-in-medical-education-an-unfortunate-ending-to-my-time-at-lehigh-valley-health-network/

In this episode, I diverge from our typical format of interviewing others with health success stories. Instead, I'm sharing my personal health success story for eliminating autoimmunity, arthritis, anxiety, and more. I walk you through the “table legs” of what it took to rebuild my own health. In this episode, I discuss… When my health crash hit and what that looked like How I struggled with symptoms such as digestive issues, severe fatigue, anxiety, arthritis, inflammation, brain fog, and more Why I turned to alternative health and a “root-cause” approach after trying conventional tactics How diet changes affected my symptoms and gut health The impact of addressing small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), Candida overgrowth, H. pylori, leaky gut, and dysbiosis The role of clearing toxins and reducing toxin exposure How mindset and mind-body practices mattered What my health looks like today And the types of practitioners who helped You'll want to listen today if you're dealing with any chronic or unresolved health issues. Find the episode home page. Practitioners I worked with: Angela Privin of Do It Yourself Health, my gut-health coach Dr. Jill Carnahan, a functional medicine MD, helped with gut health, hormone health, adrenals and some things that weigh me down such as lingering viral loads from past infections like Epstein Barr. Sinclair Kennally and Michael Spandel of Detox Rejuvenation. They specialize in detox as a pathway to better gut health and overall health. Dr. Robert Ray in Lafayette, Colorado for neurofeedback to help with balancing brain waves to reduce anxiety Dr. Louise Swartswalter, who helped with energy and brain balancing and clearing past trauma Listen to Rebuilding My Health Radio wherever you find your favorite podcasts… Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Google Play, Alexa, Spotify, and much more! Robert Ray was born in Marshall, Texas, graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in PR and Journalism, and earned his JD from South Texas College of Law. He was a briefing attorney for the Sixth Court of Appeals in Texarkana and worked as a trial lawyer for the following 12 years. He then earned a Ph.D. and a Masters of Arts from the University of Nebraska. After graduating, he became a trial consultant and founded Veritas Research, through which he has consulted all over the United States. Robert and his wife Martha make their home in Houston, Texas.
Holding the torch high for traditional country music! Robert Ray is quietly writing, recording, and performing some great sounds that will take you back down memory lane, when you could still hear a fiddle, and a steel guitar in country music.. At only 26 years on planet earth, Robert pulls influences deep from within his years coming up in South Texas. Benefitting greatly from a dad who has some great taste in country music. Family ties run strong in Ray's life as we talk about Ray's Superman, his papaw, who passed on way too soon, but left an indelible mark on this young man's character. His passion to keep the fiddle, and steel guitar in his music when most are not is admirable, and merits mentioning.. Just like his musical hero George Strait, Ray is uncompromising traditional country. And said, he wants to bring traditional country back. We were very impressed by how down to earth, and sincere Robert is, and the quality of his music. His songs will tug at your heart strings, but he'll keep you dancing for sure. His live band now boasts a pedal steel! Check out his website for booking info, and show date.. For fans of George Strait, and good country. music everywhere!

Whether we are reporting for a network or creating for clients we are story tellers at heart. For this episode of AFA, we've pulled together friends from across the country to look at 4 cities through the eyes of three professional storytellers. Will Frampton is the founder/CEO of McLeod Media, a creative services firm in Boston. Will is also an award-winning journalist with 15 years in broadcast news. Robert Ray is a current reporter having worked for Fox News and Al Jazeera and the Associated Press before going freelance. He is based in Atlanta but spending a lot of time in the Covid-19 hotspot of New Orleans. We gathered together for a cross country talk back on how four cities are facing the Coronavirus. At heart, I'm a storyteller, as are many of my friends from the #broadcasting industry. We are all just trying to make sense of what's happening in our communities. Myself in #boston #massachusetts, along with Cristina Mendonsa in #sacramento #california and Robert Ray in #atlanta #georgia, bring you our perspectives on the week that was, in our #coronavirus-impacted world. It's a nuanced approach to the hard news, ending with stories of redemption, and the goodness of the human spirit that is shining through all of this. To watch the final five minutes of this piece -- go here https://lnkd.in/etRJdKR We love being in touch with our friends and colleagues across the country and around the world -- please drop us a line and let us know how you're doing!
