You can watch Austin play through this section of the game right here. With a ride secured from Mandalore, the Exile and the crew of the Ebon Hawk arrive to a world on the brink of civil war between an ineffectual and inexperienced queen and an authoritarian general, both of whom are vaguely populist. Anyway, that's not what's important. What's important is running between the same two maps four times so that we can solve a murder mystery. Ah, with every new session, this game becomes more and more KOTOR. Next Time: Nar Shaadaa. Focus on all the Side Quests, and end after the Fight with the Red Eclipse Crew on the Ebon Hawk. Send us a textScott Sanders didn't just go from Navy E-2 to Admiral—he took that momentum and barrel-rolled straight into crafting world-record bourbon and hunting MIAs in Cambodia. The Ones Ready crew sits down with the Tobacco Barn Distillery co-founder and Tours of Duty partner to talk Navy aviation, smacking SEAL brothers, bourbon snobbery, and what it means to chase purpose post-uniform. If you've ever wanted to drink patriotism straight from a bottle or launch a 500-lb barrel out of a C-130, this episode's for you. Oh, and PSA: don't mix good bourbon with Coke unless you want to get dropkicked by Trent.

Sometimes you just stumble across someone's social media and are like "I want to talk to them on the podcast". Today, that someone is Catrina Dennis, aka OhCatrina, on their socials. Catrina joins me to talk about a number of fandom topics! We kick things off by talking about Star Wars - but, this time is unlike any other. As we start with their daily post asking for an Asajj Ventress show. Catrina and I talk about this character that has seen growth across multiple shows and even appeared in books and video games. You'll learn why Catrina likes the character, and what a show would look like to them. Plus, we do talk about the Star Wars fandom - from shows to movies, and points in between. From there, we're talking about growing up in fandom. Catrina's family growing up were in several fandom spaces, and so Catrina gravitated towards some of those shows and movies. We talk about the influence the fandom space had on them growing up, and how the love of fandom led Catrina to work in the fandom spaces. Catrina fills us in on the behind the scenes work of being a social media manager for quite some time, and shares work stories too. Catrina also talks about tabletop roleplaying games. I get to find out what kind of games and dice they sling. What stories and characters they're drawn to, and playing on streamed games as well as some games at the table. Plus, we're talking about the cosmetic business they just launched a few months ago, Side Quest Cosmetics. We get into the how's, the why's, and what you can expect from them now and in the future. You can find Catrina at: https://www.instagram.com/ohcatrina/ https://www.threads.com/@ohcatrina https://ohcatrina.carrd.co/ https://bsky.app/profile/ohcatrina.bsky.social You can find Side Quest Cosmetics at: https://sidequestcosmetics.com/ https://www.instagram.com/sidequestcosmetics https://www.threads.com/@sidequestcosmetics https://bsky.app/profile/sidequestcosmetics.com

Hey there, listener to the Indieventure podcast! Is your least favourite part of any episode the part where we actually talk about video games? Are you one of the surprising number of people in our Discord who actually seem to prefer the nonsense tangents we go off on at the slightest provocation to our years of indie gaming insight and experience? Well, do we ever have the series for you! Welcome to Indieventure Side Quest, where we pause our games industry chat to gently float down every stream of consciousness we meet along the way and that's the whole point… except we open with a brief discussion of the GTA6 delay, because we're fundamentally incapable of staying on-task, apparently. This episode was actually recorded out-of-sequence and so if you want to listen in "chronological" order (whatever that means) it should actually sit just before Episode 39, but we're pretty sure it's seamless, except for the fact that we dedicate part of this chat to our predictions for A Goofy Movie – a film we then reacted to in the episode we recorded the following night and released two whole months ago. Think of it as an artistic flashback? The other "main" topic, such as it is, is a group review of Yorkshire Dales folly garden Forbidden Corner, a cartoonishly unsettling local attraction owned by an eccentric businessman-slash-politician and which is apparently a rite of passage for people like Liam who grew up in the area, but hits quite differently when you see it for the first time in your 30s as Rachel and Rebecca both did just hours before sitting down to record. We also end up on-the-fly tier listing which Fellowship of the Ring characters we'd most (and least!) like to have brunch with, despite the three of us being casual Lord of the Rings fans at best; theorising as to why the modern cinema experience isn't as good as it used to be; sharing the best parenting white lies we were on the receiving end of growing up; and a lot more that has surprisingly little to do with video games. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we did recording! Side Quest is planned as an irregular recurring feature for us when, for one reason or another, we don't have the capacity to record a "normal" episode, and while some might be more on-theme than others in the future, we make no promises. Let us know what you think! No hyperfixations for this one but as ever our music was written and performed by Ollie Newbury! Find him on Instagram at @newbsmusic. Meanwhile, you can find us at indieventurepodcast.co.uk or wherever you listen to podcasts. Don't forget that you can now join our dedicated Discord too, and be sure to check out our new Steam Curator page if you simply still can't get enough of us!
In deze aflevering van Side Quest duiken we in de onrust bij Xbox: wat betekenen de recente ontslagen voor de toekomst van Xbox, en zit er nog een toekomst in Game pass? Support my work on Patreon (https://patreon.com/realdavejackson) As a lifelong Indiana Jones agnostic, there was no way that MachineGames would make an Indiana Jones game I would care about, right? Right? Well, it certainly looked that way when the first gameplay trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle dropped. But then I started hearing my activation phrases start to bounce around- "this is like Hitman", "this is like Dishonored", so I knew I had to give it a try. And boy am I glad that I did!
