Today, May 16, 2023, is the 50th anniversary of Amy's mom's death. Her mom died when Amy was 5. Her dad died 6 years later when Amy was 11. That left Amy and her 2 older brothers. Amy shares how her brother is the hero of her story. Amy's Take-Away: I'd like to say thank you to the women who stepped into my life and cared for me: Mrs. Polignone, Mrs. Austin, Mrs. Crago, Mrs. Cadle, Mrs. Resig, Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Zinn, my sister-in-law and her mother. Without these women guiding me and caring for me, I don't know what would have happened. I really appreciate and love them. 50 years is a long time and I miss my mom. All of our stories are important! If you have a story to share, please send an email to daughterswithoutmoms@gmail.com. You don't have to be a DWOM to share your story. All are welcome! There have always been movements among high school football teams, but Barry Lewis noted to Patrick Prince that former Jenks quarterback Shaker Reisig going to Union was shocking. A freshman who won a 6AI state championship going to its rival is stunning. Lewis joked that it reminded him of the former TV series "Friday Night Lights." Resig will have competition to start at Union; Simian Gilkey, a super athletic junior who last season was at Bartlesville, is also with the Redhawks. Jenks also has a new quarterback for the new season: Freshman Jackson Presley. Twenty-nine years ago, Jackson's father, Brian Presley, was a sophomore when he quarterbacked Jenks to the Class 6A championship. When Brian graduated in the spring of 1996, he did so as a QB who had been 24-2 as the Trojan starter. Is this like college football's transfer portal? What does the OSSAA think of these move-in athletes? Prince and Lewis discuss these offseason developments and more. ROI’s Into the Corner Office Podcast: Powerhouse Middle Market CEOs Telling it Real—Unexpected Career Conversations

Leo Resig is the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder at Atmosphere, the world's leading streaming TV service for businesses.  A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Management, Leo tested a range of career paths -- everything from screenwriting to personal banking -- before discovering digital advertising in its nascent stages in 2002. He cut his teeth on the agency side as a digital media Ad Ops manager in Hollywood at Crew Creative. He then joined Gorilla Nation (now Evolve Media), on the publisher side with roles in ad operations and graphic design.  Leo and his brother, John Resig, started theCHIVE.com in 2008 as a one-stop shop for viral photos and videos. theCHIVE became a global lifestyle movement and CHIVE Media Group became the umbrella company for theCHIVE.com, their ecommerce business The Chivery, a 501c3 non-profit called Chive Charities, and streaming OTT app, CHIVE TV.  The brothers spun the idea for Atmosphere TV over beers at a local bar, after realizing that the experience of consuming content on TV's outside the home could be elevated. This was the birth of CHIVE TV, which became the flagship channel within Atmosphere's streaming platform, which now houses over 50 TV channels.  Along the way, Leo also went on to co-found a golf apparel company called William Murray Golf with Bill Murray and his brother John. He also launched a top 50 US-brewery called Resignation Brewery in 2014 selling KCCO Beer. Philanthropy has always been important to Leo and he and his brother established Chive Charities in 2011 which has helped raise and donate over $20M to help individuals with rare medical disorders, veterans and first responders.  Family has always come first for Leo. He is a proud father to two amazing children and husband to his wife, Tiffany. Hailing from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Leo now resides in Austin, TX by way of Chicago and Venice Beach

Televisionation: Friday Fireside features Rick Howe, The iTV Doctor, in conversation with prominent figures from the advanced-TV/video industry. Can TV entertain without sound? Can TV ads sell without sound? Find out on this week’s Friday Fireside with Leo Resig, CEO and Co-Founder of Atmosphere, described as “audio-optional TV programming for business.” Atmosphere has a business model that combines traditional advertising, point-of-sale retail promotion, e-commerce and more, all in venues where viewers can’t easily hear the television: bars, restaurants, physician waiting rooms, auto service shops, airports and more. We have a fascinating discussion that actually follows the guidance of the late Roger Ailes (like him or not, he knew a LOT about television) when he told biographer Zev Chafets, “Television is a visual medium.” Ailes often watched his network with the sound turned off, to ascertain the effectiveness of the visual communication and appeal of the on-air hosts.https://tvotshow.com/televisionation
