Adhrucia Apana is an Artist, Writer, and the Founder of the production company Curiosity Entertainment, which develops and packages film and television, books, and provides music supervision. As a producer, she's brought powerful films to life, including the Emmy-nominated “The Survivor” by Barry Levinson starring Ben Foster, “Needle in a Timestack” by John Ridley starring Cynthia Ervin, Leslie Odom Jr, Frieda Pinto, and Orlando Bloom, “Capone” starring Tom Hardy. Adhrucia has developed projects with the writers of “The Umbrella Academy”, “Ozark”, & “Ballers” & “Entourage” in preproduction and is also in pre-production on the film “One Night Only” a co-production with Panay Films and “Goodman” an award winning screenplay she co-wrote as a screenwriter. Her directorial debut is set for festivals 2026. He was a guitarist deserving of the title guitar god who rarely got mentioned in the same circles as the Satches, Vais, Rhodes, and Van Halens. Most known for his brief stint in Thin Lizzy at the end of their career and as a brief member of Whitesnake. He should have been a household for playing on the Whitesnake 87 album that sold 25M records worldwide, but he was fired before it came out. With the recent fires in Los Angeles I thought it was important to bring resources to our community here and am so grateful to have Wanda Vollmer of Peace of Mind Preparedness on today to help us understand the importance of BEing prepared, what can get in our way of that, and some amazing tips and strategies to have peace of mind should any disaster / emergency occur.As a child living on a ranch in San Luis Obispo, Wanda remembers the wildfires that would frequently threaten their property and livestock and will never forget being awoken in the middle of the night to evacuate during one particularly fast-moving fire. At the age of 24, she created her first preparedness and communication plan for her family and knew she found her calling.Wanda worked for the American Red Cross as a Community Engagement Manager, serving as the lead functional expert for Red Cross Preparedness programs and community partner development and reached over 10,000 individuals with community disaster education programs in addition to recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.She currently serves as Captain of the Carmel C.E.R.T. Team (Community Emergency Response Team). This program focuses on disaster preparedness, search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. They work side by side with first responders who rely on us during disaster situations. Costume Designer, JENNIFER STARZYK is a creative collaborator with over twenty five years in the film industry. She takes a character-driven approach with her own unique vision to serve the story and support the script. Her versatile yet distinct style has been showcased across a variety of genres and periods. Perhaps best known for the Netflix psychological series, Mindhunter. where Jennifer worked closely to create a restrained period look with renowned director David Fincher. Her range varies in tone as seen in Warner Bros Neo-Noir Reminiscence starring Hugh Jackman & Rebecca Ferguson; to the outlandish colorful contemporary in Bill & Ted Face The Music; to allowing documentary footage inform how Colin Firth and Toni Colette should look in aughts fashion for Max's The Staircase. Jennifer's latest work was A24 biopic, The Iron Claw, written and directed by Sean Durkin. The Iron Claw stars Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson and Hold McCallany and is a tragic film that tells the story of the Von Erich's. Spanning from late 1970s- 1990s, her costumes showcase the dynasty of wrestlers and help create the world of rural Texas. Jennifer's elaborate ring robes were included on display at the 2024 ASU FIDM Art of Costume Design in Film. Upcoming work includes Amazon's Killer Heat, starring Joseph Gordon Levitt, Shailene Woodley and Richard Madden. This contemporary mystery was filmed on location in Greece and follows twin brothers who find themselves in a dangerous love triangle on an isolated island. The contemporary costumes highlight quiet luxury and showcase several Greek fashion brands for added authenticity. During the WGA & SAG strikes, Jennifer lent her energy and talent to help costume The Groundlings charity fundraiser, One Night Only. Having just days to outfit 35 performers for The Chorus Line.
