You can't miss this Sound Behavior episode 027 with child actor/musician, Keith Thibodeaux. If you watched any TV during the mid to late 1950's & 60's you would recognize him as "Little Ricky" on I Love Lucy or Opie's friend "Johnny Paul Jason" on the The Andy Griffith Show. Keith Thibodeaux, also known as Richard Keith, is an American former child actor and musician, best known for playing Little Ricky on the television sitcoms I Love Lucy and The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour. He was billed as Richard Keith because his Cajun French last name, "Thibodeaux", was considered too difficult to pronounce by producer Desi Arnaz. He is the last living regular appearing cast member from I Love Lucy.

In our second conversation with Elliot Knight we take a deeper look into everything, from his relationship to auditioning, to how he makes the distinction of being in love with the performance, the storytelling, and the craft rather than the industry and what that difference means for him. He talks about wanting to be the kind of performer who reveals rather than masks. This is a conversation for anybody that needs reminding to own and honor the space you take up, to be expansive, to be vulnerable in your art, and how to let life imitate art. Elliot Knight is an English actor best known for his break out performance in the British television series “Sinbad,” playing the titular role. Knight received his theatrical training at The Manchester School of Theatre before landing the coveted role. Knight appeared as a recurring character in the BBC crime drama “By Any Means” before making his US television debut in ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder,” joining Viola Davis, Aja Naomi King, and Alfred Enoch. Knight joined the cast of ABC’s hit fantasy series “Once Upon a Time” as Merlin in the show's fifth season. He starred alongside Juliet Rylance and Antony Starr in “American Gothic” before being cast in Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith’s “Life Sentence,” which aired on the CW. “Life Sentence” follows Lucy Hale’s character Stella as she navigates life after her terminal cancer is cured, her family, and her relationship with her husband, played by Elliot Knight. The show is currently available on Netflix. You can catch Elliot on Greg Berlanti’s DC universe “Titans,” which has just finished its first season. IG: @itselliotknight
AFTERBUZZ TV — Life Sentence edition, is a weekly "after show" for fans of CW's Life Sentence. In this episode, hosts Karla Beltran, Monique Loveless, and Suzanne Quast discuss episode 5 with Erin Cardillo & Richard Keith. ABOUT LIFE SENTENCE: When Stella Abbott receives a diagnosis of terminal cancer, she decides she will not go gentle into that good night and throws caution to the wind by living like there is no tomorrow. Unfortunately, that decision comes back to bite her when her doctors inform her that her illness has miraculously been cured, leaving that good news tainted by the fact she now needs to deal with the fallout from all of the things she did when she thought she was dying. You guys, this is so cool! My friend Richard Keith has a TV show called Significant Mother airing Aug. 3rd on the CW! We used to write sketches together at the ACME Comedy Theater in LA. The theater company is now gone, but our comedy talents live on. Rich let me grill him on how he pulled this off. If you are an actor, a writer or both you will enjoy what he has to say about how he got a TV network to agree to give him a show. Pretty amazing if you ask me. Significant Mother airs Aug. 3rd on the CW Don't forget to subscribe and review the show in iTunes. MIH is currently being featured in the 'New and Noteworthy' kids and family section. Hurray! What do I win? Validation. But you could win our first Honest Company bath bundle giveaway just by leaving a review. Thanks for listening!
