Send us Fan MailAs we dive further into Psalm 37, we see that God has much to say about the righteous man. Despite what this life brings, a righteous man's needs are met; his household is taken care of and provided for. He is also generous and giving and this is in stark contrast to evildoers and the wicked. Finally, the steps of a righteous man are upheld by the Lord. God is not going to allow him to stumble or stay down because He watches out for him. A righteous man serves and obeys his God. Therefore, God protects him and keeps his life. Psalm 37 has many promises and this episode outlines several of them. We can take heart. God is with us.

Betrayal hurts, especially when it comes from someone who is loved. A first-century carpenter faced what appeared to be betrayal but chose mercy over retribution. Though he later learned that there had been no betrayal, he is used by the gospel writer Matthew to present a picture of genuine righteousness. This sermon will explore Matthew's teachings on righteousness and how Joseph sets the standard for how God's people are to treat others.A sermon given by Greg Chandler on May 31, 2026.
Ian looks at how we get to live for God in a challenging culture, keeping on moving forward in faith.

We often feel the desire to be better than others, and this can cause us to feel happy when we see others stumble. But God's commandment is clear—everyone is made in the image of God, and we must not rejoice in the suffering of others. God requires us, as His children, to have His heart. The Lord calls us to change ourselves internally to become more righteous, but sometimes we get distracted from this inner change and seek external ways to improve ourselves. This distracts us from the true purpose of our lives. It is important to remember that what we do in the world is still connected to our internal change. Our outward actions affect the blessings that are allowed into our own homes. By controlling what we think and say about others and focusing on our own hearts, we can grow closer to the Heart of the Lord, who searches for souls to join Him.

Morning Worship Sermon with Rev. Bud Hance Scripture reference Genesis 6:5-9] 5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. 9 This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.
Scripture:Jonah 1:2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. 3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.Jonah 3:6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: 8 but let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. 9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?, King James VersionTo

Earl Newswanger - Sunday Morning Main
In this sermon Pastor Michelle discusses how Joseph ultimately chose the most loving option over his original plan. In the same way, in living a faithful life we are called to choose the most loving options rather than those that follow a strict rigidity. We are called to live with a Christ-like love that while demanding, is not impossible because of God's help.

For the clearing and prosecution thereof, first of all, I shall briefly labour to show you that the evil, misery, and danger of a Plague are exceedingly great. Secondly, that yet the Lord will protect and deliver those who trust in Him. Thirdly, what that Faith is and what that Trust is to which God has promised this protection in the time of a Plague. Fourthly, I would answer some objections, questions, or cases of conscience.

Christians ought not to drop like other men in the day of trouble. A wicked man's boldness, and a Christian's cowardliness, in times of affliction, are alike ungrounded and uncomely. Why should thy heart, Christian, despond and sink at this rate, upon the prospect of approaching troubles? Are there not safe and comfortable chambers taken up, and provided for thee against that day? Is not the name of the Lord a strong tower, into which thou mayest run and be safe?
