Markets took a sharp turn lower on Tuesday, with AI heavyweights such as Palantir and Nvidia dragging the broader indices down. The S&P 500 slipped 1.2%, the Nasdaq tumbled 2%, and even gold and crypto were not spared in the risk-off move. With investors increasingly worried about stretched valuations in market leaders and headlines of Michael Burry shorting Nvidia, are we seeing the first cracks in the bull market’s AI-led momentum? Chris Weston, Head of Research at Pepperstone, joins us to unpack what’s driving the derisking, how far the pullback could go, and where investors might find resilience amid the volatility.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It's a fun game for some people but for him it's not quite hitting the mark, despite the solid atmosphere and interesting story.Jason and Brett both play Outlast Trials. We missed this game when it first dropped but now with a new "Invasion" update we're in it and loving every bit of it. This game is dark, it's bloody and full of chaos but it's a blast to play with friends. 4 player co op and the new PVP mode where you can play as another player makes for a fun time.Lastly, we revisit Battlefield 6. Brad Marchand’s emotional return to Boston as a Florida Panther stole the night. Marchand drew a penalty on his first shift, assisted on the ensuing power-play goal, and was visibly moved during a heartfelt tribute video. The guys agree his number will one day be retired in Boston. Elsewhere, the Devils are rolling after a 5-2 win over the Leafs, with Hughes and Hischier leading a team that finally looks like the contender Ray expected last year. Toronto, meanwhile, looked big and slow, Anthony Stolarz allowed five goals one game after publicly calling out his team's performance, and Dregs wonders if Brad Treliving’s offseason tweaks may have backfired as the Leafs search for a second-line center and miss Mitch Marner badly. In Calgary, scoring has dried up despite Dustin Wolf’s strong play, while Montreal’s Ivan Demidov is emerging as a likely Calder Trophy candidate. In Buffalo, Colton Ellis’s debut win over Detroit capped a feel-good story for a goalie who’s battled through the minors to reach the NHL.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In this episode of Money Tales, our guest is David Adjmi. From childhood, our money stories shape the way we see the world—sometimes with clarity, and sometimes with confusion. For playwright David, growing up in a family and a neighborhood where money was about hustle, performance, and status left him questioning what financial security and self-worth really meant. David Adjmi's plays have been produced at theatres around the world such as Lincoln Center, RSC, Steppenwolf, and Soho Rep--where he was the Mellon Foundation playwright-in-residence for three years. Stereophonic (music by Will Butler of Arcade Fire) is running on London's West End after a successful run on Broadway, where it became the most Tony-nominated play in history. Stereophonic received the 2024 Drama Desk Award, New York Drama Critics' Circle Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Drama League, and Tony Awards for Best Play. The Stumble was recently excerpted in The Paris Review, and his two-part play The Blind King is currently in development with The Public. Adjmi's controversial hit 3C was selected as one of the top ten plays of the year by the New York Post, Time Out and the Advocate. Elective Affinities premiered at the Royal Shakespeare Company and received a sold-out U.S. premiere at Soho Rep starring Zoe Caldwell (Top 10 of the year in Time Out, The New Yorker.) Other plays include Stunning, The Evildoers, and Marie Antoinette. He was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Whiting Writers' Award, the Kesselring Prize for Drama, and the Steinberg Playwright Award, among others. He holds commissions from The Public, Playwrights Horizons, Yale Rep, Berkeley Rep, and the Royal Court (UK). His critically acclaimed memoir Lot Six was published by HarperCollins in 2020, and his collected plays are published by TCG.
