He beat Cody Rhodes in a spectacular ladder match to open the show. After the match, Cody discussed his contract status with AEW. (Cody No Contract) That clip from AEW's YouTube channel. Last night's main event was a Lights Out Match…that saw Orange Cassidy pin Adam Cole…after Cassidy threw Cole and himself off the top of one of the entrance tunnels and through the stage below. That's the first time Cole has been pinned in AEW, but since the match was unsanctioned…the loss will not be counted on Cole's win/loss record. The match also saw the surprise AEW debut of Danhausen, who has been recovering from surgery for a broken leg. It was later confirmed that Danhausen is signed and is All Elite. MJF agreed to a match against CM Punk on next Wednesday's Dynamite, which happens to be in Chicago. AEW Champion Hangman Page will defend his title in two weeks…against Lance Archer…in a Texas Death Match. Lio Rush is now announced for the next Terminus show on February 24th. (STINGER: AEW) Over the weekend, Lio Rush announced that he'll be a free agent, after his contract with AEW expires on February 14th. That covers four upcoming events. The company announced early Monday “a number of wrestlers presenting elevated temperatures”. New Japan will resume live touring on February 6th. On Saturday's New Japan Strong…Rocky Romero, Fred Rosser, and Taylor Rust beat FILTHY Tom Lawlor, Jorel Nelson, and Black Tiger. Rust pinned Nelson. Also, Juice Robinson beat Bad Dude Tito. After the match, Juice and David Finlay got into it with Tito and JONAH. Back in Japan, there's a new GHC National Champion in Pro-Wrestling NOAH. Masakatsu Funaki forced the former champion Kenoh to submit in a matter of minutes. And to make things even more shocking…after the match, Funaki announced he's joining Kenoh's faction Kongo.
