Turnbuckle Tavern is powered by G FUEL and Official Dick Lazer. Use code TAVERN for 20% off at GFUEL.com and DickLazers.com. Episode 207 of Wrestling Tonight opens with a surprising WWE departure that appears to have come together very differently than many would have expected. Ilja Dragunov is leaving WWE, but the circumstances surrounding his exit make this much more interesting than a straightforward contract expiration. WWE reportedly wanted him to remain with the company, and the two sides were still having serious discussions about getting him back on television only a couple of months ago. So how did we go from negotiating a return to Dragunov becoming a free agent? We break down what is known about the timeline, where things apparently changed and what comes next for one of the most distinctive wrestlers to come through WWE in recent years. Then there is The Rock and WrestleMania 43. WWE is heading to Riyadh for WrestleMania next April, but a major commitment on Dwayne Johnson's schedule could make one of the biggest possibilities surrounding the show considerably more complicated. There is an important distinction between The Rock appearing at WrestleMania and actually wrestling at WrestleMania, and the latest information raises questions about whether there will realistically be enough time for the latter. We get into what his schedule looks like, why the timing matters and where that leaves WWE as the road to WrestleMania 43 begins to take shape. AEW All In is just days away, and we now have an updated look at how Wembley Stadium is filling up before Sunday. With Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship at the top of the card, the latest ticket numbers give us a much clearer idea of the size of the crowd AEW could be looking at when the company returns to Wembley. We'll go through where ticket distribution currently stands, how that compares with the stadium setup and what AEW still has available heading into the final days before All In. And Wembley is not the only major European story for AEW. Grand Slam is heading to Paris, giving the company another significant international date and its first event in France. There are some notable details about when and where the show will take place, what AEW intends to tape that night and where it fits into the company's European schedule coming out of All In. We also have movement on the John Cena Classic, an event WWE announced months ago without providing many concrete details. A potential date has now emerged, and its placement on the calendar carries an obvious connection to Cena's retirement that is difficult to overlook. There are still unanswered questions about the location, the lineup and exactly how WWE plans to execute Cena's unusual fan-voting concept, but we finally may have an idea of when the event is actually happening. We'll get into the reported date, why it stands out and what Cena has said about making sure the fans legitimately determine the winner. Elsewhere, Royce Keys returned to Raw and brought OTM with him, immediately inserting the group into an already crowded situation involving The Usos, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight. Rather than choosing one side, Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price made their intentions clear by going after everyone. We'll cover how WWE brought Keys back after his absence, the significance of OTM appearing alongside him and how recent developments involving Nima may have helped set up the new alliance. The Women's World Championship picture also has its next major match. Stephanie Vaquer now has a date with Liv Morgan, but Becky Lynch remains directly involved in the story after what happened on Raw. With Vaquer and Lynch both pursuing Morgan since returning after SummerSlam, WWE now has multiple directions it can take as the championship match approaches. And on SmackDown, WWE advertised Blake Monroe vs. Giulia, but fans are still waiting for Monroe's official SmackDown in-ring debut. Instead of giving away the match, WWE used the confrontation to push their rivalry another step forward. Their history goes beyond WWE, and what happened before the bell ensures there is still unfinished business between them. Episode 207 of Wrestling Tonight covers Ilja Dragunov's unexpected WWE exit and the negotiations that preceded it, the scheduling issue hanging over The Rock and WrestleMania 43, the latest numbers heading into AEW All In at Wembley, AEW's first trip to Paris and the potential date for the John Cena Classic. Plus, Royce Keys resurfaces with OTM, Stephanie Vaquer moves closer to the Women's World Championship and Blake Monroe and Giulia's rivalry takes another turn on SmackDown.
In this week's flagship show we'll discuss all things that happened on Raw and SmackDown this past week including:Raw (8/17): Chad Gable retained the Intercontinental Title over Rey Mysterio; Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee advanced in the World Title contender tournament; Sol Ruca beat Lyra Valkyria; Je'Von Evans beat JD McDonagh. The big closing angle saw Solo Sikoa and LA Knight lay out Roman Reigns and The Usos.SmackDown (8/21): CM Punk retained the WWE Championship over Kevin Owens after Sami Zayn turned on Owens and attacked both men. The MFTs retained the Tag Titles over Damian Priest & R-Truth, Lash Legend beat Tiffany Stratton, and Cody Rhodes/Randy Orton continued their heated title rivalry.Go AD-FREE at Patreon.com/WWEPodcastBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-wwe-podcast--2187791/support.
The First Black Champ Podcast breaks down a chaotic WWE week as Sami Zayn costs Kevin Owens the WWE Championship against CM Punk—then attacks both men after the match. Is the Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens rivalry finally played out, or do the heightened stakes and CM Punk's involvement make their latest chapter worth watching? We also discuss Lil Yachty's upcoming five-minute challenge against Baron Corbin, his reported WWE Performance Center training, and the concern that celebrity involvement can take too much oxygen away from full-time talent. Plus: Solo Sikoa shocks Roman Reigns with a Samoan Spike, Jacob Fatu refuses to help either side, LA Knight joins Solo in taking out The Usos, and the Bloodline fracture gets more complicated. Finally, is Rey Mysterio firmly in the greatest-of-all-time conversation after another standout match with Chad Gable? We also hit the “Do We Care?” stories: Montez Ford taking shots at The Bloodline on AfterTheTide, reports of Ilja Dragunov's WWE/TKO status, and the rumored John Cena Classic date.

Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer make their returns, Roman Reigns' next championship challenger tournament kicks off, and journalist Lee Sanders breaks it all down in this FULL WWE Raw Review & Highlights for August 10, 2026!
Folks, last week's RAW was one of the best shows of the year. This week? Not the same level, and I always tell you the truth, believe me.We opened with Solo Sikoa standing in the crowd singing the Usos' music — genuinely great moment, tremendous natural charisma from Solo. Jey Uso came out and said the Tribal Chief called the play, time to fall in line. Solo fired back beautifully — did Jey fall in line, or just fall off? Jey won the Rumble, beat Gunther, made the kids happy, and now all of that's gone and it "sucks" to be Jey Uso. Solo said he's not coming back to the Bloodline because he loves where he's at. They agreed to a match — Jey wins, he delivers Solo to Roman. Solo wins, the Bloodline leaves him alone forever. Solo's "Pew!" mock warning shot was tremendous. Crowd, unfortunately, was completely dead.Penta beat Laredo Kid in round one of the Number One Contender's Tournament — winner faces Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title at the Mexico City RAW. Penta Driver, inverted Michinoku Driver from Kid, Kid misses a tornillo, Penta hits the Mexican Destroyer for the pin. Fun opener, folks.Akira Tozawa versus Austin Theory went way too long. If you want to tell the Oba Femi/Bron Breakker story, do it in its OWN segment, don't bury it in a Tozawa match. Theory won, Breakker speared Tozawa, Oba's music hit and he did his FULL entrance instead of saving anybody. Adam Pearce and his gaggle of geeks jumped in before anything could happen. Tremendous staredown, ruined by the geek parade.Stephanie Vaquer addressed the crowd about missing RAW and, mostly, missing watching Judgment Day run from her. Becky Lynch came out, said Liv's reign is dragging the title back to the mid-2000s, but also said Vaquer gets injured too much to deserve a shot — the title's coming back to HER. Liv attacked Becky from behind, Becky blocked the Oblivion and suplexed her. Vaquer and Lynch had another cold staredown. Women's World Title scene is looking great, folks.Big Cass continues to be tremendous — Dragon Lee beat Dominik Mysterio clean, then Cass jumped BOTH Dragon Lee and Je'Von Evans, standing tall over both. Sol Ruca, with mystery partner Iyo Sky, beat Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez via Soul Snatcher. Fun match.Main event: Jimmy Uso jumped on the apron, Solo accidentally spiked him instead, Jey speared a distracted Solo and hit a top-rope splash for the win. Are we kidding, folks? Solo was FINALLY clicking with the audience on his own natural charisma, and now he goes back to the Bloodline? Who's bringing back Sami Zayn while we're at it?LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and tell me — was sending Solo back to the Bloodline a mistake?Visit our website ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.majesticproduction.com/Watch our full podcast here ➡️➡️➡️ anchor.fm/majestic-production

This episode I am reading from Richard Dolan's book 'A History of USOs, Unidentified Submerged Objects: Volume 2: From 1970 to 1989' Unidentified Submerged Objects have long existed on the margins of UAP/UFO research, mentioned in passing, rarely examined in depth, and often set aside in favor of aerial encounters. Yet the historical record tells a different story. Reports of anomalous craft operating within Earth's oceans, lakes, and rivers are widespread, persistent, and in many cases difficult to dismiss. In this second volume of A History of USOs, historian Richard Dolan presents a detailed investigation of global cases from 1970 to 1989, a period marked by a noticeable rise in both the frequency and intensity of encounters. Drawing from military reports, civilian testimony, and archival research, the book assembles a body of evidence that spans continents and political systems, including repeated interactions involving both U.S. and Soviet naval forces. The events themselves are often striking in their specifics. Large objects moving beneath the surface without detectable propulsion. Craft emerging from the water and ascending into the air with controlled acceleration. Close encounters near shorelines, in open ocean, and in inland waterways, sometimes accompanied by equipment disruption, physiological effects, or gaps in perceived time. Many of these incidents involve trained observers operating in environments where misidentification carries consequences. The pattern that emerges is not confined to a single region or era. It appears across decades, across cultures, and across very different observational contexts. During the Cold War years in particular, increased human presence in the oceans, along with advances in sonar, surveillance, and submarine technology, brought more of these encounters into view. Even so, the capabilities described in these cases remain outside any publicly acknowledged technological framework. This volume places those encounters within their historical setting while examining the broader implications of a sustained, largely unacknowledged presence in the world's waters. It considers the possibility that these objects are not random intrusions, but part of an ongoing pattern of activity whose purpose remains unclear. The oceans cover most of this planet. Large portions of them remain unexplored. Whatever operates within them has had ample space to remain out of sight Bio For over twenty years, Richard Dolan has been one of the best known UFO researchers in the world. He is the author of several groundbreaking books in the field, opening up fresh ways of understanding this perplexing subject. His massive two-volume history, UFOs and the National Security State, has permanently altered our understanding of the history of UFOs and the government coverup. This week I'm talking to Richard Dolan about his book 'A History of USOs, Unidentified Submerged Objects: Volume 2: From 1970 to 1989' Unidentified Submerged Objects have long existed on the margins of UAP/UFO research, mentioned in passing, rarely examined in depth, and often set aside in favour of aerial encounters. He is co-author of the classic book, “A.D. After Disclosure,” which opened up an entire conversation on how UFO Disclosure could actually take place and what that might mean for the world. His book “UFOs for the 21st Century Mind” remains the best single volume to discuss the full range of the UFO subject in all its complexity. His most recent book, “The Alien Agendas,” is another unique contribution to the subject, being one of the few attempts to analyze the beings behind the UFO phenomenon by examining the long history of our encounters with them. The Bloodline has been the dominant storyline in WWE for the past six years. Just when you think the saga of Roman Reigns, the Usos, Solo Sikoa, and the rest of the gang is over, it rears its ugly head. As the name suggests, it's a stable that has been mostly made up of family members, and in music, there are plenty of bands where family members share the stage. On this episode, Andrew and returning guest Warren Hayes (The Mr. Warren Hayes Show, Voices of Wrestling) play bands that have family members in them. Artists played include HAIM, Split Enz, Sly and the Family Stone, The Kinks, DeBarge, The National, Heart, Sparks, and many more. In Part 2 of my extended conversation with Richard Dolan, we move beyond disclosure politics and into some of the deepest questions surrounding the UFO phenomenon. We discuss whether some aspects of the phenomenon may be darker than many researchers are willing to admit, why Richard believes humanity may be facing challenges of its own making, and what decades of UFO and USO reports suggest about the behaviour of the intelligence behind these encounters.Drawing on research from his new book, A History of USOs Volume 2, Richard explains how studying patterns across thousands of cases has changed his understanding of the phenomenon and what it may reveal about the long-term presence of these objects around our planet. We also discuss: Whether the phenomenon has our best interests at heart The listener question asking if Richard is "holding something back" Alien behaviour and adaptation Humanity's future and technological dependence Why Richard fears human actions more than non-human intelligence Historical and modern USO cases Underwater UFO encounters Behavioural patterns across decades of sightings The USS Franklin D.
