Night 1 of the WWE Draft is in the books! Smackdown kicked things off by drafting the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa as The Bloodline, and RAW quickly answered by snatching up “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. From there, the two brands would go back and forth for 4 rounds with each brand getting 2 picks a round. The WWE Universe witnessed a massive shake up as Bianca Belair, the RAW Women's Champion, was drafted to Smackdown as was the NXT Women's Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. RAW would answer by securing Imperium's Ludwig Kaiser, Giovanni Vinci and Intercontinental Champion Gunther as well as the NXT Women's Champion Indi Hartwell. Some other highlights saw The Street Profits, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, joining WWE Hall of Famer Edge, Bobby Lashley, Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky) and the OC (Luke Gallows, Karl Anerson, “Minchin” Mia Yim and the returning AJ Styles). WWE Raw 3/623 review with JDfromNY. Tonight's WWE Raw is the third episode during the six-week build towards WrestleMania 39. John Cena is set to return to WWE tonight, and United States Champion Austin Theory plans to confront him. JDfromNY shares his thoughts on the possibility of Cena winning the US title from Theory and what that could mean for WrestleMania 39.  In addition to the potential Cena vs. Theory confrontation, tonight's episode of Raw also features some interesting matchups and storyline developments. Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair will be in action against Carmella, after defeating her tag team partner last week. The Bloodline will also be featured, with Sami Zayn taking on Jimmy Uso and Kevin Owens facing Solo Sikoa. There is speculation that Owens and Zayn will challenge the Usos for the WWE tag team titles at WrestleMania, but their relationship is still fractured and Jey Uso is currently absent from The Bloodline. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch and Lita are the new WWE women's tag team champions after an assist from Trish Stratus. It remains to be seen if Damage CTRL will seek a rematch and how Trish will factor into WrestleMania plans.
