On this episode of Two Dudes With Attitudes, Ryan and Denton review all six matches from AEW Grand Slam: Australia and deliver their official Two Thumbs With Attitudes ratings. No fence-sitting.Then we shift to AEW Dynamite from February 18 — where everything changed.Swerve Strickland turned heel in shocking fashion, brutally attacking Kenny Omega to close the show. Was this the right move? Is this the evolution Swerve needed? And what does it mean for AEW's main event scene moving forward? The road to Revolution just escalated: MJF vs Adam Page is now a Texas Death MatchIf Hangman loses, he can never challenge for the AEW World Title againJon Moxley grants Konosuke Takeshita a Continental Championship rematchFTR and The Young Bucks ignite their latest chapter ahead of their Tag Team Title showdownThis isn't just a recap — it's analysis, debate, and honest reactions to the biggest stories shaping AEW right now. Are we really going to see Hangman send himself to Cody Island? This week's AEW shows had us worried that we were going to see bad things happen to our faves, but we didn't see that one coming… (00:00:00) News - Tony Khan has signed new women, so will we see more time for women's matches on the telly? (00:04:42) We didn't need to worry, Orange Cassidy did not get his head shaved in the Hair vs Hair match at Grand Slam (00:14:19) There's lots of people in the Conglomeration… like Ishii! (00:17:34) Kyle Fletcher doesn't need to go this hard, we'll still love him (especially if he shows us his wardrobe) (00:22:52) Moxley vs the Don Callis Family, with a little wander off-schedule to consider a potential Aussie Open reunion (00:28:07) Babes of Wrath won in Australia, of course, because wrestlers should be allowed to win in their hometowns, why would anyone book otherwise? (00:29:50) Oh my god, they killed Kenny (again) (00:41:34) How are we going to make FTR interesting between now and Revolution? (00:44:32) Briefly, everything else: the Brawling Birds made their TV in-ring debut, there was a TBS title four-way (00:47:26) It's gonna be Hangman vs MJF at Revolution, but wtf is this stip?! Then they go long on the main event as Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland finally collide: Snap Dragons on the apron, avalanche Dragon suplexes, double Swerve Stomps, and a clean Swerve win followed by one of the nastiest post-match beatdowns they've done on TV as Swerve hangs Omega with a chain in front of a horrified Sacramento crowd. The girls are back in town! That's right, FINALLY all three Tunnel Talkettes are reunited and it feels sooooo good. Let's get this car OFF the rails already! And it was a crazy week, with multiple unexpected title changes for us to work through. We get back in the swing of things with a discussion of the men's world title scene* and how Kenny and Swerve are going about their feud. From that big new matchup, we go into a matchup we've seen many, many times before, FTR and the Young Bucks. Also, Thekla's the new Women's World Champion, to everyone's surprise, and we talk through that and how the women's division is treated generally. Plus, Jon Moxley called Wheeler Yuta “naturally beautiful,” Allie has as much trouble working through how to process Tommaso Ciampa's existence as the rest of us did, and of course ham comes up at least a little. Time for your favourite wrestling podcast again! No? Second? Top five? Anyway. We thought we were going to have a quiet week ahead of AEW Grand Slam Australia, but nope! We got two title changes, one of which came at the end of a very bloody strap match; Mina Shirakawa got an impromptu haircut; and Hangman's boyfriends are still fighting over him. Get it in your ears. (00:00:00) News (00:10:43) And new! Thekla is the women's world champion now (00:19:17) Calling the Brawling Birds to deal with our spider problem (00:21:33) Does AEW struggle to book babyface champions? Do we all love a cool heel too much? We're part of the problem, honestly. Also we got into whether MJF wants to go to WWE and where Chris Jericho is going to end up (00:30:23) And new! Kyle Fletcher is the TNT champion again. Have there ever been two title changes on a standard episode of Dynamite before? (00:41:09) FTR are gonna fight the Young Bucks. Goddammit. (00:50:46) We think we've fixed Hook's gimmick. Call us, Tony Khan! (00:58:30) Is Roddy a secret Death Rider? Should we be preparing ourselves for a bald Orange Cassidy? And… those were extensions that got cut out of Mina's hair, right? (01:06:52) Is it time AEW got its own streaming service? We would pay to be able to watch this House Rules show tbh (01:09:54) We survived a parking lot brawl, but there might've been too many men involved (01:12:48) The men's title picture gives us the HEEBIE JEEBIES! Alec Price and Jordan Oliver are officially All Elite after MJF shocked the wrestling world at Limitless Wrestling by announcing it in the ring following Alec's AEW World Title match. Then it was straight into the deep end with a huge AEW Dynamite debut against Tag Team Champs, FTR. Alec and Jordan share what it was like finding out via a Tony Khan tweet, what they learned from Dax and Cash, and how that Orlando crowd went from “who are these guys?” to believing they could pull it off. Welcome to Episode 163 of Wrestling Tonight, powered by G FUEL and Dick Lazers. Use code TAVERN for 20 percent off. Acefield Retro and Chad are back, and this week focuses on how multiple promotions are adjusting direction rather than delivering final outcomes. We begin with TNA Genesis, where several championships were defended and key moments shaped the current hierarchy. The event took place amid confirmed visa issues that affected both Impact's AMC debut and Genesis, requiring multiple card changes and substitutions. Those adjustments highlighted the degree to which TNA is currently operating within a broader, shared wrestling ecosystem. WWE made notable changes at the top of the card. WrestleMania 42 plans have been revised, Drew McIntyre is the current WWE Champion, and the direction toward WrestleMania remains fluid. On Raw, a confrontation involving management and top talent escalated into a suspension, adding another layer of uncertainty to the weekly product. AEW saw movement in both directions. FTR learned their next challengers for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, while The Rascalz were confirmed as new signings as were Jordan Oliver & Alec Price. At the same time, Powerhouse Hobbs appears to be nearing the end of his AEW run, with WWE expected to be his next destination. NXT continues its transition following the NXT Championship being vacated, with a multi-man ladder match scheduled to determine a new champion. Meanwhile, AAA began its new FOX television run, crowned a new number one contender for the AAA Mega Championship, and featured the return of a familiar name. The promotion also outlined a broadcast model centered on periodic live events rather than weekly live television. Episode 163 centers on how these developments fit together across the industry, as companies make adjustments and set short-term direction heading into a busy stretch of the calendar.
In this week's episode of FTR's Trucking Market Update podcast, we review several key indicators of the industrial, consumer, and housing sectors of the economy and recap the week in the spot market for truck freight. On Episode 214 of The AEW-some Pod, the gang—Diana Prince, Johnny Taylor, and Gringo Fantastico—are joined by special guest Brock Lesnar Guy himself, Michael Corcoran, to go bell-to-bell on AEW Worlds End 2025, a Chicago PPV where MJF sneaks his way back to the top and Jon Moxley bleeds, limps, and chokes his way through the Continental Classic to grab the new crown. The crew breaks down Okada vs. Takeshita and why that screwdriver finish might be the dumbest way possible to end a dream-match semi, Mox vs. Kyle Fletcher nearly going off the rails with a terrifying head-drop before turning into a tournament classic, and Mox vs. Okada in a final that proves sometimes pure grit beats “greatest tournament wrestler of all time, bitch.” They also hit FTR and the Bang Bang Gang turning a Chicago Street Fight into a stiff, beautifully ugly brawl, Willow & Harley hanging onto the Women's Tag Titles against Mercedes & Athena, and Darby Allin and Gabe Kidd trying to murder each other in 13 minutes. Plus: Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter's head-drop-heavy thriller for the Women's World Title, Toni Storm's “Mixed Nuts Mayhem” chaos, MJF pinning Samoa Joe in a four-way that rewrites the main-event picture, and of course Dick of the Week, Hero of the Week, and Showdown of the Week from one of AEW's wildest PPVs of the year.
