Gungi summons his green lightsaber with the force and deflects the blasts from the droids, and they get out of there with their ship. They talk to Gungi on the ship and decide to take him to his people, the Wookies from the planet Kashyyyk. The concern is if the Empire has taken over the planet, which they have. As they approach the planet, Hunter announces that the planet is releasing a lot of smoke, meaning the empire has definitely arrived and blown the place up. Now for those who remember, Kashyyyk has a long history, it's a jungle planet, very nature oriented and natural. Gungi's saber hilt is wooden. The planet is like Jumanji basically. Now Gungi has no memory of Kashyyy as younglings are taken to be Jedi at infantile stages of their life. We got to experience Kashyyyk in fallen order, but before that in the game force unleashed, where we star the game off playing as Vader as he fights the Wookies and then meets baby Galen Marek. As they walk through the forest, Gungi and the batch meet some giant spiders which are like the ones we fight in the KOTOR game, as he uses either beast control like anakin did agasint the reek in episode 2 in the genosian arena, or just communicated with it by not being violent, causing them to step aside for safe passage. They find a wookie being held hostage as Trandoshans ride imperial tanks from the clone wars and put the surrounding trees on fire. So it's evident the empire wanted Kashyyyk and they decided who better to work with than the trandoshans who passionately hate the fur balls. Gungi saves the day by igniting his lightsaber and it's a fun scene much like the clone wars. Much destruction has become of beautiful Kashyyyk. Trandoshans have enslaved Wookies forever, and they two races absolutely hate each other. Bossk and Black Krrsantan have fought each other close to death many times, and it was something I was hoping to see in the book of boba fett show. Maybe one day… They are met by some Wookie tribesmen and taken to the Elder of the village, who accomodates them with food and drink. As Trandoshans and Clonetroopers of the Empire come across the saber slash marks from Gungi's lightsaber, they vow to kill the Jedi, and are now coming for him and the Bad Batch. Tech and the Elder discover this convoy headed their way, when the Bad Batch decide to stay and fight, as the Wookies have been a massive ally to the republic during the war, and helped fight alongside them. They speak to the trees spiritually and get ready for war. A massive epic battle ensues and Gungi proves his worth as a Jedi as he goes up against the leader Trandoshan, who gets picked apart by the spiders, caught in their web and lifted up into the trees to be probably eaten. Now i will mention that Trandoshans use fire to obviously burn trees and the forest, but also this reminded me of how Boba beat Chewbacca in a fight once in the canon comics by putting his fur on fire. Wookies are notoriously physically powerful creatures, and so are Trandoshans. On another note, for Wrecker to knock out a trandoshan in one hit, really proves his strength. They don't go down easy. Hunter says they're both just kids but they don't get to be in this galaxy, which is true, and sad because neither of them got the enjoy their youth. Omega with being locked up on Kamino as a science experiment, and then with Gungi running for his life from Order 66, the two have had to grow up really fast and it'll make them quite formidable characters when they are fully grown. The Elder speaks the native language of Kashyyyk, Shyriiwook, and says when a young one leaves, the trees weep, and when they return, the trees sing. So the trees on Kashyyyk have been known to be sentient and to speak to the Wookies, and vice versa. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

David Waldman and Greg Dworkin our present our annual KITM Star Wars Day Eve Special, this year spoken in Shyriiwook for all our Kashyyyk followers! Huurh awwgggghhh wrrhwrwwhw uuh huuguughghg! Another day, another Tucker Carlson Fox leak. No, that wasn't why Carlson was fired. That's how they all talk at Fox. Expect scandalous Tucker Carlson leaks to continue until Rupe's ex admits that she was wrong to crush on Tuck. Ron DeSantis isn't the first child to throw a fit at Disneyworld, and sure won't be the last. Disney has been setting up to win this case for a while now, and by “win” they mean to make DeSantis and his supporters lose. That whole thing about law cutting both ways has always annoyed conservatives, chiefly the part about the defendant discovering what the other side has up its sleeve. The Right doesn't care how much money they need to pour into court manipulation, or who they pour it into, although that is one of the reasons why George Mason University doesn't call it the David Waldman School of Law. Bidenomics has replaced Reaganomics, and yet no one seems to be happy about anything anymore. Republicans therefore see little downside in just burning it all down, especially Marjorie Traitor Greene. Kevin McCarthy's problem is that each Republican House member thinks that they are Marjorie Traitor Greene. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and debt limit chicken, so nobody will be blinking soon. Democrats have seen this coming however and might have some procedural tricks up their sleeves. Maybe everyone's been doing the debt limit wrong all along.

This week, in Disney News, Disney releases the 50th anniversary Cinderella Castle renderings. Let’s just say, there is a lot of gray, royal blue, pink, and gold which sounds like a cluster, but trust us, it’s fantastic. Also, Disney gets more time to deliver the third Paris park per the agreement with France. Originally, they were to begin work in the next few years, but with all of the park improvements they’ve been making, they now don’t have to deliver the park until 2036. This week, we do a Galaxy’s Edge edition of our recurring “Is It Worth It” series. We delve into such important topics such as lightsaber building, Oga’s cantina, building your own droid, whether or not to try the blue/green milk, and showing up an hour early to ride Rise of the Resistance. (Hint, most of this stuff IS worth it. Just what isn’t? You’ll have to listen to see.) We also discuss the likelihood of Disney adding wallet-stealing droids to find an even faster way to siphon your money away from you. And there’s a Smuggler’s Run cheat code to reveal Chewie!? Yep. We even have a fabulous Chewie impressionist come on the show to tell us all about it in Shyriiwook. Thanks for lending us your ears. We appreciate you and all you do! Have a fantastic week! Raks Geek has been written up by CNN, MSN, Timeout Chicago (Critics' Pick), The Daily Mail (UK), and more. As a singer-songwriter, Dawn has performed in 10 states and has released two solo albums; her latest CD, Spaces Between, fuses elements from traditional Chinese music with jazz and alt folk pop. She has served as a section editor for RELEVANT Magazine, performs as a soloist with Read My Hips tribal bellydance, and, as a web designer/developer, works with clients like Anheuser-Busch, Chicago Booth, and Georgia Tech. Trota is an organizer for both the Chicago Full Moon Jams and the Chicago Nerd Social Club; she also performs as a fire-spinner with Raks Geek. Discussions about geek culture, feminism and intersectionality are guaranteed to get her talking for hours - she's organized panels at C2E2, Chicago Comic Con, and the University of Chicago on topics relating to sexism in geek culture. Wednesday Lunch is a Divinity School tradition started many decades ago. At noon on Wednesdays when the quarter is in session a delicious vegetarian meal is made in the Swift Hall kitchen by our student chefs and lunch crew. Once the three-course meal has reached dessert each week there is a talk by a faculty member or student from throughout the University, a community member from the greater Chicago area, or a guest from a wider distance. Recorded in Swift Hall on April 9, 2014.
