The Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast gathers on a holiday weekend to talk about the Transformers, starting with the latest rumors of an upcoming Amazon exclusive sub-line featuring the Wreckers. In-hand impressions of several Transformers Collaborative toys follow, beginning with the Jurassic Park themed set featuring Tyrannocon Rex and Autobot JP93. The J. Balvin themed J. Balvintron, plus cassette companions Energia Buzzsaw and Vibras Stripes, are discussed next before the Collaborative talk ends with quick-hit impressions of the just-arriving Draculus figure. A special topic follows which goes around the table to see which toy gimmicks that never seemed to hit their stride, in popularity or execution, the cast would like to see make a comeback. The series finale to Transformers Cyberverse has been made available for most of the world through Youtube or other means, so that gets some attention from the crew before the episode ends with the recurring Bragging Rights segment.

The Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast presents its 288th episode which starts out with reaction to the news of the year long delay for the next installment in the Transformers live action film franchise, Rise of the Beasts. Along with this topic, the cast considers what imaginary "filler" toy-lines they would like to see if the movie's accompanying toys happen to get delayed alongside the film's release. Actually planned toys are the next topic on the slate, with just-revealed Studio Series toys from the Bumblebee movie such as Deluxe Class Brawn and Voyager Class Soundwave creating excitement. The Generations: War for Cybertron: Kingdom Blaster also comes up, with inevitable thoughts about an obvious repaint inspired by the name of this very podcast. Impressions of the first 45 minute long Cyberverse special released last week on Hasbro's Youtube channel comes next, followed by brief lamentations on IDW's ongoing Transformers run inspired by a listener's question. The episode concludes with the regularly occurring Bragging Rights segment.

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast begins episode 269 with wild speculation on the rumors beginning to circulate about the next installment of the Transformers live action movie franchise, leading to good-humored ribbing at the "clickbait" stories also beginning to crop up to capitalize on those rumors. More rumors continue to fuel discussion, with listings for additional Cyberverse toys featuring the Dinobots having recently appeared. The cast discusses the possibilities for these toys as well as for future installments, in some form, of the Cyberverse TV series. After that, free-form talk about more recent Kingdom and Studio Series 86 releases occurs, with the cast now having several of the toys in-hand. Impressions on several toys are shared, including Leader Class Grimlock, Deluxe Class entries Blurr, Jazz and Kup, Kingdom's new Optimus Primal, plus Voyager Class Scourge, among others. A listener question prompts the next segment with predictions on the future of the Generations lineup before the episode ends with the recurring "Bragging Rights" segment, where the cast shares their most recent Transformers product acquisitions.

After that, more unofficial information is analyzed with the first images appearing online for what looks like the next Generations Titan Class release, with the surprising alternate mode based on the Ark spacecraft from Generation One. After that, discussion occurs surrounding an upcoming two pack featuring "Shattered Glass" universe versions of Optimus Prime and Ratchet. More Generations Selects talk follows as the topic shifts to the Deluxe Class 2-pack featuring Cordon and Spin-Out, both recolors of the still upcoming Earthrise Sunstreaker. Welcome to Australian Transformers Weekly, this week not bringing you transformers news from around the world.   Tonight something special, before we record our 200th episode I’ll will be taking a walk down memory lane.    In this episode we’ll be looking back on... A Lamp to light our darkest hour?  Dx9 Dutch and collecting smaller figures,  And the hilarity that was Titans Return Volcanicus. All this and more coming up. Cut to Intro:  Opening credits (8bit Transformers Theme)   First up we go all the way back to episode 101. We had just relaunched the podcast after the first 100 episodes of Off The Shelf. With all the ho ha currently over the haslab Unicron, two years ago another Unicron was getting our interest. 00:01:16 (Ep101, 31st March 2017)New In-Hand Images of Generation 1 Unicron Lamp https://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/new-inhand-images-of-generation-1-unicron-lamp/37646/   Next we fast forward to An article posted In the lead up to The Last Knight. And we get some info on a new character, not sure if any of it made a difference in the film, but it was Hod Rod and he has a sweet weapon.  00:04:58 (Ep 105, 29th April 2019) Entertainment Weekly – Complete Article On Transformers: The Last Knight Hot Rodhttp://news.tfw2005.com/2017/04/23/entertainment-weekly-complete-article-transformers-last-knight-hot-rod-337727?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook Article Breakdown Described as a covert agent Hot Rod has secretly been serving as Hopkins daughter characters protector in the guise of her father’s 1963 Citroën DS. It’s a rickety old car, but she can’t part with it because she adores it Working in secret for Anthony Hopkins character. So presumably no connection to autobot team. Currently no voice actor attached, production looking for a forensic accent. Fans claim hot rod had voice in fan event screening but may be re recorded prior to films release. SDCC IN 2017 showed us some nice figures on the way, but one got our attention straight away.  00:09:50 (Ep 114, 7th July 2017) Toys R Us San Diego Comic Con 2017 Masterpiece Optimus Prime Announced http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/07/06/toys-r-us-san-diego-comic-con-2017-masterpiece-optimus-prime-announced-343348?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook   With combiner wars over, we had thought so was the toy line. But then came the dinobots, and thier combining form Volcanicus. It was the butt of many jokes for episodes to come.  00:11:52 (Ep 122, 8th Sep 2017 Dinobot combiner Volcanicus shown. http://news.tfw2005.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/10/2017/09/DSC04980.jpg    Machina’s second attempt at a adult cartoon series failed and we reported each week on the trainwreck as it unfolded.  Returning not to November in 2017 and episode 3’s recap of the show. 00:27:05 (Ep 132, 24th Nov 2017) Machinima’s Transformers: Titans Return Episode 3 Available Online http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/11/21/machinimas-transformers-titans-return-episode-3-available-online-353884?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook After losing my job in March of 2018 my collecting preferences changed big time and I started going for the smaller war in pocket styled figures. My first entry was dx9 Dutch, a small g1 cartoon accurate Optimus Prime. Here’s our thoughts when the first images of him were released. 00:41:24 (Ep 148, 6th April 2018) DX9 Dutch (Legends Scaled G1 Optimus Prime) Color Prototype Gallery http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/03/29/dx9-dutch-legends-scaled-g1-optimus-prime-color-prototype-gallery-361529?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook   Continuing the Optimus Prime theme, at the end of 2018 with the new mp prime V3 announced the third parties decided to make their own, and arguably the best in that battle and some say better then the official was Magic Square and thier MS01 Optimus Prime.   00:45:01 (Ep 173, 23rd Nov 2018) Magic Square Toys MS-01 Masterpiece Scaled G1 Optimus Prime Color Prototype http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/11/21/magic-square-toys-ms-01-masterpiece-scaled-g1-optimus-prime-color-prototype-377075?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook&fbclid=IwAR0J7oV-eFbyR0QT7oDft8R8ut3fYbEVe-BdHGkgDO9cNChfK5OvbXVjY2g   While we report on lot of news, we also have deep discussions and one from way back in Episode 101 was a special one. We answered the question, do you spend more on figures then your displays? 00:52:35 (Ep 101, 31st March 2017) Do you spend a lot of money on your collection and not a lot of money on your display? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10155868361664325&set=gm.716400851853854&type=3&theater And lastly before we end out the show the mini bots theme continues with New Acquisitions and Clip Show Inception. In this case it was the dx9 war in pocket dinobots.  00:59:39 (Ep 148, 6th April 2018) Clip show in a clip show. Dx9 dinobots    OUTRO Thank you for listening! We’ve seen a few shots of the combination at conventions, but this image is the first one we’re aware of in the wild using the toys we’ll all soon be picking up from store shelves. Note that the transformation on the individual figures is not 100% spot on – Slag’s arms for example are not tabbed in here – so the final article may look a little tidier. http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/01/05/power-primes-volcanicus-hand-image-356328?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook   00:31:57 Finally images have surfaced and we now have a better look at Studio Series Voyager Class Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen Megatron. Previously, we saw only a partially concealed teaser of this figure, but now we are treated to its full glory. Some images let us see the way Fly Fire works as Superion’s arm creating a very original and solid elbow. http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/01/09/zeta-toys-zb-01-fly-fire-masterpiece-styled-g1-fireflight-new-images-packaging-356521?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook   00:43:37 Staying with Zeta Toys, we have new Zeta Toys Armageddon (Masterpiece-styled Bruticus) Color Prototype Images. This massive Combiner, designed to go with your Masterpiece collection, is supposed to be around 50 cm. tall and we can see the nice details and proportions Zeta Toys worked on this release. While this is a color prototype, the images indicate they are not the final colors, so we could expect some changes in the future. In the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast, "The Search For Alpha Trion", the latest Transformers Generations Power of the Primes products revealed at Hascon 2017 are analyzed in depth. This starts out with a look at the upcoming new versions of the popular Dinobots; Grimlock, Slag, Snarl, Swoop, Sludge, and newcomer Slash. The cast discusses their initial impressions of each figure, and also debates the merits of the combining feature as it relates to this team of characters. The Leader Class Evolution Orion Pax to Optimus Prime toy is talked about next, with a focus on the "evolution" feature allowing the smaller Pax robot to transform into the larger Prime. Revealed products from the Saturday night Hasbro VIP and Hall of Fame Dinner were also on the agenda, including Leader Class Optimus Primal, Voyager Class Hun-Grrr, and Deluxe Class entries Rippersnapper and Moonracer. IDW Publishing's upcoming plans for Unicron in their Transformers and Hasbro Universe comics is also discussed, with recent releases such as First Strike, Optimus Prime #10, and Lost Light #9 having quick analysis after that. The episode wraps up with a listener question about the potential for reissues of toys from the Transformers: Animated series as it approaches its tenth anniversary.

In this special episode covering the first ever HASCON, Megatronus, Seiberton, and QBKiller94 discuss the overall experience, including the shift towards a more experience-centric convention, and whether the experiences and brand interactions offered provided the expected value. The groups discusses the direct exposure to the various brand teams, as well as the energy the Hasbro employee volunteers brought to the show. Crowd sizes and composition are mentioned, with attention paid to the breakout between fans and families. Panels are brought up in relation to the convention venue and layout. After a short break, the crew talks about the new Power of the Primes toy line, specifically Leader Optimus Prime and the Dinobot combiner, Volcanicus, as well as the upcoming Titan Class Predaking. Some movie figures and the overall Transformers brand area are discussed in detail. This part of the podcast concludes with special recognition for Providence, which was a wonderful host to the HASCON experience. The episode ends with an interview with the Hasbro Transformers brand team recorded from the floor at Hascon 2017.
