I completed a solo run at Cedar Hill Golf Course on the Chip Trail, covering 4.91 kilometers in about 43 minutes with an average pace of 8:53 per kilometer. The day was beautiful, with ducks crowding the pond and the occasional stop to admire the mushrooms and wildlife along the trail. I crossed paths with other runners and reflected on my heart rate zones, testing my trail shoes in the damp conditions. As I finished the loop, I headed back to make a fire at home, appreciating the brisk November air and my steady pace on the trail.

Hitherto the last episode - The violent gunfight in the Arlian suburbs had the police en route, Radar and Vee attempted to relocate the gang car, scoop up Ryder's family and all their equipment and flee the scene. But an earlier mistake surrounding the refinement process of Thasterite, meant that Radar's Runabout was now grounded. The fuzz arrives and secures the area, but not before Vee hops over 17 garden fences and drives away in the stolen gang car, temporarily evading the cops and getting more exercise in a single minute than they do in an entire month. Radar is left to face the music with Tabitha and Mel, who give their statements to a police detective, before getting seen to by the paramedics and left to sweep up the shattered remains of the broken home. Vee eventually returns under the guise of a 'friend of the family', but the mood in the house that evening is icy cold. Tabitha and Mel shout and argue at each other while Vee takes nightwatch, but no one gets much rest, that night. There's no peace for the crew as the following morning, a small, blind Ysoki figure in a crimson hood leaves a parcel on Stanley's bonnet, before vanishing in an instant. The parcel is an ultimatum from someone calling himself 'The Butcher', insisting that Ryder has been captured, and demanding that they all meet on the outskirts of the city to discuss terms. To back up the threats, Butcher has sent a bloody bandage containing an otter's pinky finger ... and it sure does look an awful lot like one of Ryder's. Vee remains skeptical, but the letter also states that another bodypart will be mailed to the Maxim family in less than an hour ... Like what you hear? Previously, the crew landed at Arl spaceport ... well, one of them did. Radar took the Runabout out into the deep desert, carrying the group's heavy weaponry. Vee landed the Laika at the spaceport and was greeted by Nasiim Hernandez. Vee managed to convince Nasiim that the dummy duplicates of their weapons were the real deal and secured them in the Laika's cargo hold. Vee also learned that there are multiple gangs operating in Arl, pushing a dangerous narcotic called 'red velvet'. The broken economy of this place seems to be the circulation of drugs flowing out of the city and guns flooding in! Meanwhile, Radar experienced engine trouble and had to make a pitstop at a local fuel station. Radar learned that the sands of Akiton hide a secret. The seem to drain the energy out of his ship's reactor, but in turn, they have a unique power source all of their own. Not quite understanding how this worked, he scooped up a bunch of sand, dumped it into one of the runabout's fuel cells and made his way to the Arlian Plateau. Ground-based border control didn't seem to be as intense, and Radar enters the city to meet up with Vee at 32 Roseburrough Avenue - the home of Ryder's mum and her partner... Like what you hear? Matthew (he/him) and Jo (they/them) celebrate the start of Season 2 by discussing the introduction of The Circle and the broken windows theory on Deep Space Nine, compare flying the Enterprise D aka the Love Boat vs flying a Runabout in a combat zone, and discuss the beginnings of Rom's socialist radicalization. Matthew asks if Miles and Kira could have saved more Bajoran prisoners and Jo rants that there is no way Miles is a better pilot than Kira. The cast looks at the new Transformers Earthrise Runabout and Runamuck
We double up on the Mystery Beers Of The Week! Which was good news for Coy and Andy because the first beer was an IPA that, for lack of a better term, swill. Seriously it should be a challenge beer. The second beer, Aloha Death, was an absolute knockout of coconut, chocolate, vanilla, and roasted malts! The boys also discuss Hyundai's new line of hot sedans, an electric runabout mini bike for Overland AF, and a MONSTER bus converted for the ultimate offroad camping experience!Mystery Beer THAT WE LIKED: https://www.ironhorsebrewery.com/the-beer/aloha-death/Overland AF: https://volcon.com/grunt/Smokin Deal: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1538359253069438/permalink/2760790670826284/?sale_post_id=2760790670826284Don't forget to like and subscribe, and tell a friend about the show! The Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast returns for episode 262 and starts out with speculation about upcoming holiday season resets, spurned by mention of the Walmart exclusive reissue Headmasters. These Titans Return Deluxe Class toys in Generation One style packaging are discussed next, with the series classification of the toys presenting a puzzle for some collectors. Additional upcoming toys are talked about next with Target exclusive Voyager Class Thrust and Deluxe Class Runabout in the War for Cybertron: Earthrise lineup, as well as the Amazon exclusive Galactic Odyssey Micromaster six pack. Studio Series' forthcoming G1 invasion is discussed next, with the initial lineup of Deluxe, Voyager and Leader Class toys such as Hot Rod, Kup, Blurr, Scourge and Grimlock having been officially revealed last week. Books are next on the agenda with a short mention of a Beast Wars Generations Mook from Japan. The recently released third volume of G1 Transformers manga from Viz receives a brief overview after that, before the episode ends with the recurring Bragging Rights segment where cast members share their latest Transformers toy and product collection acquisitions.
Hillary and Nic take a break from talking Trek to talk about the brutal year that 2020 has been and everything that is going on.
Episode 259 of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast begins with speculation on a mysterious new image that shows a box for a Transformers: Prime 10th Anniversary figure set featuring Breakdown and a Vehicon. Whether this is a set of a Voyager Class figure and a Deluxe Class figure or a portent of separate releases is unknown, but the cast shares their ideas on what could be inside. After that, more unofficial information is analyzed with the first images appearing online for what looks like the next Generations Titan Class release, with the surprising alternate mode based on the Ark spacecraft from Generation One. After that, discussion occurs surrounding an upcoming two pack featuring "Shattered Glass" universe versions of Optimus Prime and Ratchet. More Generations Selects talk follows as the topic shifts to the Deluxe Class 2-pack featuring Cordon and Spin-Out, both recolors of the still upcoming Earthrise Sunstreaker. With the opportunity to talk Diaclone present given those homages, the talk turns to the Diaclone reboot series with its re-imagining of Battle Convoy, the character who would later become Optimus Prime, on the horizon. Quick looks at Takara Tomy's updated re-release of the Dinobot combiner Volcanicus and Earthrise Runabout lead into a brief segment of comics talk centered around the recently released Transformers '84: Secrets and Lies #3. The show then ends with the recurring Bragging Rights segment.

Shrinking Sci-Fi and DS9’s “One Little Ship.” Ever since 1957’s black-and-white classic The Incredible Shrinking Man, stories involving size-altering accidents have been a science fiction staple. In 1973, Star Trek: The Animated Series provided its own pint-sized kids’ adventure with “The Terratin Incident,” in which Kirk and his crew are gradually reduced in size by a mysterious Lilliputian community. But it wasn’t until Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s “One Little Ship,” some 25 years later, that live-action Trek finally tackled this perennial sci-fi concept. A light-hearted episode in the midst of the fairly serious and grim sixth season, “that stupid shrinking show,” as it was known in the writers’ room, was seen as a chance to do something self-consciously silly. Yet, over the years, it has become a fan-favorite. In this episode of Primitive Culture, hosts Clara Cook and Duncan Barrett look at DS9’s “One Little Ship” in relation to other diminutive stories, from The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957) and Fantastic Voyage (1966) to Innerspace (1987) and Honey, I Shrunk The Kids (1989). We even visit the much more recent Ant-Man (2015) as we discuss the pleasures—and pitfalls—of storytelling on a miniature scale, as well as the psychological and existential crises that ensue when people—in particular men—suddenly find themselves much smaller than they used to be. Mikey has not returned to the Moonbase 2 this week, however the sexual torpedo know as Jii Dee arrives to take up the reins. Once again its a week with little news but some bit such as the images of Transformers Legends Triggerhappy, Kickback and Brawn are all out with their new paint schemes headmaster/titanmasters and a targetmaster as well and IGear seem to have returned to the 3rd Party world with images of a Runabout and Runamuck as well as a Ironhide figure. There's more then that as well on this weeks Moonbase 2.
Crank Journal is back for its 5th episode! James is still out, but comedy improv star and managing director of the Packard Museum in Dayton, OH, Dan Badger, joins Michael and makes him wonder what he's doing with his life. Dan talks about what it's like to start a 1917 Packard Model 48 Runabout, and Michael spills the beans about how he nearly set a million-dollar antique Ferrari on fire trying to start it. They both name their Obscure Cars for Sale picks of the week and then Michael inexplicably decides to talk about Daewoo exhausts, even though Dan really doesn't want him to.
ACTING! Did you know Rene Auberjonois was the chef in The Little Mermaid? Or that George Takei appeared on The Simpsons? On this week's Runabout episode, Poey takes a brief look into some (but not all!) of the other work Star Trek actors have done before and after they explored the final frontier!
Well, we promised you a full episode this week, and… we lied! Give us hell! But that’s okay, cause Poey does his best Bob Costas so he can talk to you about the Wide World of Sports in Star Trek, and he hopes you don’t get maimed!
This week, Into the Wormhole takes a break from our regular programming to bring you Into the Wormhole: Runabout. Runabout episodes are shorter episodes that focus on a single topic that isn't a specific episode of Deep Space Nine. For our first Runabout episode, Poey discusses the tragic loss of Carrie Fisher.
Part 4 in a series of special Star Trek podcasts celebrating 50 years of Trek where we dissect in this installment the series: "Deep Space 9." Hosts Craig DiMonda, Richard "Chubtoad" Sheldon, and Darrell Taylor delve deep into the venerable Star Trek spinoff by naming their very own top 5 episodes of all time, as well as trying to master Craig's extremely difficult Trek Trivia.
We're finally getting to the show that broke the mold! Mike crews the pod with DS9 experts "Major" Kali Fontechhio and "Barkeep" David Mikalson. They talk about the season five 2 parter "In Purgatory's Shadow" and "By Inferno's Light," as well as give an overview of the series and what made it so iconic to Star Trek and television. Runabout!
My phone call woke up Little Dragon singer (and all-around indie goddess) Yukimi. She was napping before the show while on tour with Gorillaz. Yukimi and the band are from Gothenberg, Sweden, a town known more for its metal than its chill electronic indie pop. You'll have to listen for when I get poor groggy Yukimi to give me her best metal GROWL. No one knows who Little Dragon is YET, but everyone I have introduced to the band loves 'em. Check out “Feather.” This song Yukimi wrote because she resented being told that women are not risk-takers. Tracks played on the show... 1) Little Dragon, Machine Dreams "Feather" 2) Gorillaz (feat Little Dragon), Plastic Beach "Empire Ants" (partial) 3) Jose Gonzalez "Love Will Tear Us Apart" (cover) (background only) 4) Little Dragon, Machine Dreams "Never Never" 5) Dark Tranquility, Damage Done (2002) "The Treason Wall" (background only) 6) Brandy (feat Monica), Never Say Never "That Boy Is Mine" (background only) 7) Little Dragon, Machine Dreams "Runabout" NO songs CANCON
Several members of the Twincast filled out a recent Hasbro UK survey, and boy do we have thoughts about this. Plus, what's this about 3rd Party items? From there we move on to TCC Service 4.0 reveals. As of this writing, Bludgeon is the latest Club reveal, and Twincast reactions are mixed. Combiner Wars wave 4 and Optimus Maximus are here! Will these versions spur us to replace our Classics and Universe figures? We've got some interesting redecos coming out of the Transformers Adventures line, including legends class Override and Runabout, and the ever-stoic and much vaunted deluxe class Vehicon General. We've end up back to the Masterpiece line, and we still have some gripes about the upcoming MP-27 Ironhide. Also, what's with this red Bumblebee? We finish up the Twincast with some bragging rights!
Nigo has been found! Ring Girl found him and took him home with her, forcing him into weird cultish things. Fortunately, he was returned, and Jedimon can now hug his Nigo every night before bed. On the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast/Podcast, we try to find the silver lining in the disappointment the fandom has encountered over the last few weeks. Kicking things off, we discuss the launch (and relaunch) of the TFCC Exclusive Over-Run and Shattered Glass Drift figures, as well as the problems the Club managed during the sale. We discuss the issue with preorders, offer suggestions for the future, and discuss the figures themselves. Next up, we lament the unexpected end of Transformers Prime: First Edition toys. We analyze the problems with store exclusives, discuss the costs involved, speculate on reasons, and get rather salty about the whole affair, including the shortage of Takara First Edition toys to compound fan desire. Moving on from First Edition to Robots in Disguise, we give our thoughts on the recently revealed Ratchet and Optimus Maximus, as well as some of the other, upcoming figures. We then jump to other side of the world, and review the just-released United Rodimus and give our thoughts on his over-the-top paint apps. We have some Micron talk up next for those collectors with a tiny figure predilection, with the recently announced Arms Micron line. Finally, we discuss a few pieces of excellent art floating around from the likes of Jim Sorenson and Guido Guidi showing us some new sides to the art we've come to know and love.
And now, TOYS. With exclusives Runamuck, Runabout, Footloose and the upcoming Joe sub it's a great time to be a member of the Collector Clubs. Is Amazon really opening a toy only site? HELL to the YES! Hasbro is going to make us a new figure. You just have to tell them which one. There's some new stuff on pegs, shelves and that Web thing. More importantly, don't forget to enter our 3rd Annual Swagaway. Just let us know your favorite thing from Comic-Con 2011 before October 1st.
