Valorize o que é realmente importante.Existem coisas que são realmente importantes, e que deveriam ficar gravadas em sua memória. Mas geralmente as coisas menos importantes são as que você dá maior destaque e se apega a elas.Vou te dar um exemplo. O Salmo 34, verso 7 diz: "O anjo do Senhor acampa-se ao redor dos que o temem e os livra."Esse versículo é muito conhecido. Ele demonstra poder e proteção. As pessoas gostam disso e muitas vezes recitam esse verso como um amuleto, como uma invocação de proteção.Mas o anjo não é o centro, ele é apenas um servo. Não é ele quem te protege. Eles são apenas os carteiros, responsáveis por entregar algo que foi dado por Deus. O foco do verso está no Senhor. É Ele quem te protege. É Ele quem te guarda, quem te dá vida, quem te sustenta. As formas que o Senhor usa para te abençoar podem ser diversas. O que quero lhe mostrar é que por vezes você pode valorizar demais o místico: o anjo, o fogo, o clarão, o arrepio, e não dê importância ao que de verdade, é importante.O Senhor é o centro. Sem Ele nada acontece. Saber que um anjo do Senhor está ao seu lado é maravilhoso. Mas se o anjo não estivesse, o Senhor nunca te abandonaria.

En espera1) Emperador: Jesús nos enseña que el verdadero poder lo tienen la humildad y la sencillez. Mucha gente buscó ser eterna o reconocida, hasta incluso buscó con sus obras arquitectónicas quedar marcadas, pero hace más de dos mil años que se recuerda a unos pastorcitos, un burro, una vaca y un pesebre sencillo. Porque cuando uno busca tener poder en la vida o en el trabajo o hasta incluso en la iglesia, la misma vida le muestra que ya no vive por vivir, sino por mantener algo que tarde o temprano se desecha. Por eso, este día es un golpe a nuestra soberbia y comprender que el poder es adictivo y también momentáneo, por lo tanto, no dejes que el poder sea tu presa. 2) Pertenecer: Es importante saber que todos tenemos un sentido de pertenencia, asumir en qué y con quién nos identificamos. Por tanto, no dejes de alimentarte de la gente que te hace bien y esta noche trata de mirar a los que comparten con vos qué pudiste aprender. Saber a dónde perteneces se basa en tener autodisciplina y no andar con caprichos emocionales en la vida. Comprender que yo no soy de nadie y menos un juguete de alguien me ayuda a comprender que soy hijo de Dios y solo eso vale. 3) Pastores: Hay una frase de Mario Benedetti que dice “Cómo me gustaría pasar el resto de mis días con alguien que no me necesite para nada, pero que me quiera para todo”. En esto me encanta pensar en los pastores, porque fueron solo a adorar, no fueron a pedirle a Jesús que les cambie la posición social o un milagro, ellos solo fueron a adorar porque solo querían estar con Él. Adorar es lo que implica esta fiesta, porque Dios se hizo hombre para que el hombre goce de Dios. Algo bueno está por venir.

Papai tinha servido nas Forças Armadas durante a guerra e houve momentos em que a vida dele dependia de capacidade de navegar sob o céu noturno. Ele garantiu que eu soubesse os nomes e localizações de várias constelações, mas encontrar a estrela Polar era o mais importante. Saber a localização dessa estrela significava adquirir o senso de direção onde quer que estivesse e encontrar o meu caminho. As Escrituras falam de outra estrela de essencial importância. Alguns sábios do Oriente (área que hoje pertence ao Irã e Iraque) estavam atentos às estrelas no céu que indicavam o local do nascimento de quem seria o rei de Deus para o Seu povo. Eles vieram a Jerusalém perguntando: “Onde está o recém-nascido rei dos judeus? Vimos sua estrela no Oriente e viemos adorá-lo” (MATEUS 2:1-2). Os astrônomos não sabem o que causou o aparecimento da estrela de Belém, mas a Bíblia revela que Deus a criou para que o mundo se voltasse para Jesus: “a brilhante estrela da manhã” (APOCALIPSE 22:16). You know, the longer I've been an investor, the more I realize this simple truth: the biggest threat to your wealth isn't the market… it's your own brain. We're all wired the same way—with instincts that were fantastic for avoiding saber-toothed tigers but are absolutely terrible for making good financial decisions. Take something simple like a marathon. If I asked you to predict next year's top finishers, you'd look at last year's results. That works. Human performance doesn't flip upside down in twelve months. The best runners tend to stay the best runners. There aren't that many variables to consider. When we try to apply that same logic to investing, it often blows up in our faces. There are way too many variables to consider when it comes to market behavior to make simple assumptions. Entire sectors rotate from darling to disaster in a heartbeat. Yet our brains keep telling us, “Hey, this worked last year, surely it'll work again.” In my view, nowhere is that psychological mismatch more obvious than in real estate right now. A few years ago, when real estate was on fire—cheap debt, rising rents, deals getting snapped up before lunch—everybody wanted in. Fast-forward to today. We've had a rate shock. Values have reset. Properties are selling at steep discounts. And Construction starts have fallen off a cliff. Real estate got slaughtered. But look around now. The market has reset. Assets are selling 30 percent below where they did just after Covid. Jobs and population growth in places like the Carolinas, Texas, and Arizona look fantastic, and interest rates are falling quickly. Every macro indicator you can name is pointing to a major buying opportunity—one of the best in the last 15 years. So naturally… few people are paying attention. Markets that are bottomed out are not sexy. If it's not frothy, it's not newsworthy. This is human nature in a nutshell. When assets are expensive and risk is quietly rising, people feel brave. When assets are attractively priced, and future returns look great, people get scared. It's recency bias: assuming whatever just happened will keep happening. It's loss aversion: we fear losing a buck more than we enjoy making one. It's herd behavior: we'd rather be wrong with the crowd than right by ourselves. And of course, it's confirmation bias—where people seek out whatever headlines validate the emotions they're already feeling. It's not logical. It's not strategic. But it is human.
