Transformers prime ep 1&2: In Jasper, Nevada, three young humans—Jack Darby, Miko Nakadai and Rafael Esquivel—are accidentally caught in the crossfire of a fight between giant, mechanical aliens that transform into ordinary vehicles. The three kids are taken to the base of the Autobots, where the Autobot leader Optimus Prime explains that he and his team are a race of autonomous robotic organisms from the far-off planet Cybertron, and they are fighting over their life-source, Energon, with the Decepticons, with whom they once had a war. Transformers: Transformers is a 2007 American science fiction action film based on the franchise of the same name. The film, which combines computer animation with live-action filming, was directed by Michael Bay, with Steven Spielberg serving as executive producer. ----------------------------------------------------------------- #transformers #transformersprime #cartoons #scifi #scifimovies #batyardsfinest #batyardigans #batyardsfinestpod #batyardproduction #cartoonnetwork
Like many of the artists we have on the show, Jeff Johnson has more than one arrow in his quiver. You may know him from his work on comics as diverse as Wonder Man, Amazing Spider-Man, and Weapon X at Marvel; Solitaire from Malibu's Ultraverse; Crossgen's Way of the Rat; and Green Lantern and others for DC. But you may also know him from his animation work in popular shows like Boondocks, Spectacular Spider-Man, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Young Justice and Transformers: Prime. And even if you don't know him from any of those, you're about to know him from this interview! ↫Story↬ (Story written by me! For more stories like these, check me out on Wattpad: https://www.wattpad.com/user/Kaila_Falcon) A steady rain pounds against the windshield in front of you, the equally rhythmic sound of the wipers going back and forth almost beginning to lull you to sleep. It had been quite an eventful few days to say the least. You'd known of the Autobots living amongst the human population as robots in disguise for quite some time now, much longer than the three much younger children who'd recently joined the scene. In fact, in the time you'd been alongside your Cybertronian allies, one mech in particular seemed to had almost instantly taken a liking to you, hence where you are now. Driving down the Interstate in the pouring rain after your Guardian had wordlessly passed by Ratchet, activating a GroundBridge to nowhere in particular. His actions had come as a surprise to you, but, you'd grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch and shoved it into your backpack, making quick work of clambering into the red and blue Semi sitting quietly in front of the swirling vortex of green, pink and blue. But, you know why you're here, snuggled up in your seat, head resting against the rain stained window, the oncoming traffic's headlights dazzling your hazing vision. Optimus Prime, for once in his life, is unsure of what's to come. And, he's mourning the loss of someone who he'd once called a brother. Ratchet had informed you of… everything… when you'd first frequented the Base, on an evening everyone else had been out in the field. The Prime and Megatron - two polar opposites and sworn enemies - once fought alongside one another. But now, that camaraderie and brotherhood is nothing but space dust - you'd heard the report from the rest of the Team, seen the injuries. The silence in the cab of the Semi truck is comfortable, though it's starting to wear thin on your fatigued mind, your eyes threatening to close themselves even as you tug the blanket tighter around your shoulders, shifting in your seat slightly. And it's only when a soft yawn escapes your lips that your Guardian finally speaks, instantly gaining your drowsy attention. “It's just… a small part of me hoped to change Megatron's mind, not extinguish his Spark,” Optimus explains solemnly, a tone of such genuine regret falling into his voice. A pang of compassion swells within you as his words fall onto your ears, your gaze instinctively drifting to the driver's seat, the insignia proudly emblazoned on the steering wheel now dim, waiting to illuminate with the Prime's next words. “But the Megatron whom I once fought beside perished eons ago; the day he chose to become a Decepticon.” All you can do is nod silently, your thoughts slow to respond. “I know you both were close,” Is all you can muster up to say, another yawn interrupting your sentence. “I'm sorry, Optimus.” Your genuine condolences almost seem to fall on deaf audio receptors. But, you know right well that a small smile is tugging at his faceplate, a wordless nod of thanks likely the only reply the Prime would give. And with that, the pair of you continue to drive, simply enjoying each other's company, the rain and the soft music playing from the radio, thankful for that this moment… Nothing else quite matters as much as now.

Here we are, at the end of Transformers Prime's first season. We've got everything you could want out of an explosive season finale; huge twists, cool action, crazy alliances, and one hell of a cliffhanger. We discuss Megatron's love of drama, John Noble's typecasting as shitty fathers, insane G1 plots, and plug some fanfiction. (Also sorry about all the weird buzzing in Nero's audio. They got a fancy new microphone and didn't set up the gain quite right. Whoops!) Noise Space | Discord

This week we're finishing 5 part premier of Transformers Prime, Darkness Rising. A lot happens in these two episodes, including Optimus tapping into his Bayverse incarnation's rampant bloodlust, Megatron using Starscream like a stress ball, the children nearly dying a whole lot, and Fowler being tortured so much he gets drunk. Anyway you don't care about that, you want to hear about the Prime DILF rankings and discussion about how Soundwave Likes To Watch. RIP Megatron, who certainly won't be coming back ever. Also we forgot to mention it in the actual episode but we're gonna be off next week. Noise Space | Discord

--Important Note-- This upload will not be up on my YT channel due to technical difficulties! Sighing to yourself, you get up off the couch and turn off the whistling electric kettle that you had put on awhile ago. Making yourself some tea and sliding back under the blanket on the couch, you continue to type away at the keys of your laptop, flipping through the pages of your math science textbook rather aimlessly. The Team's distant chatter and Ratchet's beyond distraught tones reach your ears as you listen off to the side. Jack, Miko and Raf had already gone home for the night, leaving just you, the Medic and the young black and yellow Scout with the Base all to yourselves. As the night wears on and sleep doesn't come easy, you find yourself silently observing and admiring Ratchet's handiwork and perseverance, and keeping an eye on Bumblebee, making sure he doesn't wander off. Cuing up some soft music, you allow the sounds of your surroundings and the Autobot Medic's tinkering to begin to soothe your heightened senses. Things will be alright. Optimus will come back to us, and Bee will get his T-Cog back... It'll just take time... And almost as if you'd been thinking aloud, you could've sworn you heard Ratchet mutter, "Time is something we do not have." You dismiss it though and instead, get comfortable on the couch. And soon enough, you find yourself drifting through a slightly restless sleep, not knowing what the future holds, but knowing this: Team Prime is the closest thing you've got to family. --Info-- I own no rights to any sounds used in this video! For more stories like these, check me out on Wattpad: https://www.wattpad.com/user/Kaila_Falcon) You had been the first one to have the unfortunate encounter with these alien Cybertronians. You'd found yourself surrounded by a slew of Decepticons awhile back, too panicked to even try to run. It had been game over for you in my moment, but then, out of nowhere, a blur of blue and red, accompanied by the sounds of shifting gears had flooded your senses. And when the chaos clamored down, a new, much kinder looking robot was standing tall in front of you, his previous blade of a weapon being whisked away from your view in an instant, instead, being replaced by a hand of sorts that gently picked you up and brought you out of harm's way. Optimus Prime had saved you that day, and now, thanks to him, you're a regular with Team Prime. Soon after your incident, however, three more kids, a bit younger than yourself, appeared at Base, also warming up to their strange new situation. Jack, Miko and Raf are all now also regulars with the Team and that puts you where you are now, listening to the surprisingly soothing sound of rain pitter patter against the roof of the old missile silo, the sounds of whatever Wii game Jack and Raf are playing meeting your senses. It's a typical evening, relaxing almost. But around here, who knows how long this momentary peace will last. --Info-- I own no rights to any sounds used in this video! Episode 273."Rocketman"Composer.Matthew Margeson.Matthew Margeson is a composer of film, television, and video game music best known for his diverse action and adventure film work that bridges orchestral and electronic music. He got his start as an assistant to composers on video games and film shorts, and worked as a technical score advisor, arranger, and synth programmer, among other roles, for Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions. His first main composer credits in film arrived in 2010 with Lunatics, Lovers & Poets and Burning Palms. A year later, Margeson scored the animated TV series Transformers Prime and the video game Carnival Island. In the meantime, his additional music for other composers could be heard in blockbusters such as X-Men: First Class and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. In 2013, Margeson co-wrote the score for the franchise sequel Kick-Ass 2 with Henry Jackman. It incorporated rock elements into a symphonic base. That led to more action films, such as 2014's Kingsman: The Secret Service, also with Jackman. His work in other genres around that time included the 2016 biopic Eddie the Eagle and Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (with Michael Higham). He and Jackman teamed up again for 2017's Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and Margeson received sole credit for his music to the 2018 horror film Truth or Dare. The King's Man score is co-composed by Matthew Margerson and Dominic Lewis and can be heard in theaters now! Please Welcome, Matthew Margeson.Instagram: Monday Morning Critic Podcast.Facebook: Monday Morning Critic Podcast.Twitter: @mdmcriticwww.mmcpodcast.comMondaymorningcritic@gmail.com

He also talks a bit about his other collaborations with Don Coscarelli, his love of monster art, the synthwave albums he's released as ZORGON, and his extensive work as an artist, animator and director on series including TRANSFORMERS PRIME, GODZILLA, TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE, TRESE and more!
We're back in Transformers Prime season 2 territory as Bumblebee arrives in Griffin Rock to look for a lost Cybertronian artifact-weapon! But when Bee gets paired with Dani for the mission, can Blades learn that there's no room for jealousy in a polycule? How does this "Liquefier" even work? And WHEN DID THEY GET A HOT WHEELS RACE TRACK IN THEIR BACKYARD? Join us this week for "Odd Bot Out"!
In the inaugural episode of their trip across the decades of toyetic Transformers television, Nero and Audrey talk about their histories with the franchise. That mostly means going on tangents about the IDW comics and Transformers Prime, and talking about who their favorite franchise character is (Spoilers, its Starscream). Tune in next week for the true beginning of our Transformers Armada adventure! Noise Space | Discord
Roll out and transform, because this week, it's TRANSFORMERS: Redemption? The last time we played a game featuring the iconic robots in disguise, it wound up being one of the 5 worst games on the Nintendo 64, so the series has a lot to make up for. Luckily, neither of these made us sick at all! We played TRANSFORMERS PRIME, a high-octane beat-em-up based on a TV show, and RISE OF THE DARK SPARK, a slick third-person shooter than blends mythology from the games and the movies. [Digital Drift 2014] The Transformers road trip has lost all but one lone, solitary truck, powering on through a new leg of what may be a never-ending journey. Yes folks, I did end up going to see Transformers 4, and on this show, Sharon asks me all about my experience. Is this a new lease of life for the series? A soft reboot, ditching the former human cast members in favour of all-new ones and setting aside awkward frat comedy for the dilemma of a struggling family. [Sounds great.] Still written by Ehren Kruger and now starring Mark Wahlberg [Oh Jesus Christ!]. The autobots are now a hunted, endangered species, thanks to their heroic genocide of their own people in the last movie, done in the name of protecting us humans, with our interminable capacity for greatness. Plus it has the dinobots [No it doesn't]. And Optimus is seriously suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder [Nobody ever mentions it]. Is this better or worse than the first three? Find out right now. I do something with Michael Bay halfway through that will surprise you. Next pit-stop we are rejoined by a full cast as we delve into the best depiction of these bots in any medium, the animated show, Transformers Prime. Even if you haven't seen it, have no immediate interest or don't want it spoiled we still suggest you listen as the depth, subtlety and character focus we describe in detail will surprise and delight you, leaving everyone wondering why that can never be their big screen representation.
[Digital Drift 2014] Every now and again I'm reminded on Twitter or the forum that you guys love this show best when we review something we absolutely love. Our passion for it is palpable and in many cases infectious enough to get people who have yet to see the movie in question to finally take the plunge. This point usually comes up when I mention that we're reviewing something awful. In this case Michael Bay's Transformers movies. But there is a silver lining to the critical thunderstorm you're about to hear. Firstly this initial 2007 movie turned out to be a lot more of a mixed bag than we were expecting. It has some genuinely uplifting and well managed moments as well as one or two dryly delivered performances that suggest character of the kind you'd find in good movies. We're actually pretty positive for a while. Now granted that iceberg tip of quality is sitting atop a mountain of mishandled garbage and yes of course we delve into that one with a metaphor for the viewing experience that will haunt your cinema visits. However it's actually very important that we maul pictures like this every now and again. Without the lows and the shadow the brightness and the highs will never be as intense and purifying. Michael Bay's Transformers sequels in particular are a parallel for the depressing filth of our lives, a soul-devouring mire consuming us from the ankles up that we need to escape with the wings of the Avengers, the Lego Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy, basically anything with Chris Pratt. Without these inexplicably crowd-pleasing doldrums the journey's end as we come to rest in the warm glow of Transformers Prime has a great deal less meaning. So fill your gas tanks folks, this is going to be one crazy road trip to remember. We promise you by the end you'll be glad you came along. Guests: Neil Taylor of TheKidDogg Andy Rodriguez of the Digital Drift community
[Digital Drift] This is both parts combined into one mega-podcast. The Transformers road trip finally emerges from the ugly, industrial wasteland and like Outrun we find ourselves suddenly experiencing a completely different and altogether more fascinating vista. Yes, this animated TV show, passed up by the majority of adults as being for the kids just happens to be the greatest depiction of the Autobots and Decepticons ever committed to any medium. Freed of the obligation to deliver spectacle whilst somehow keeping the robots to a minimum this production team somehow manage to capture everything we loved about Generation 1 with the best bits from the movies, shows, comics and games in between. Focus is on companionship between the Autobots and the human teenagers they are protecting, with the kids giving perspective to the bots and vice versa. The Decepticons are no longer snarling hyper-aggressive insectoids but a charismatic, entertaining team in their own right. Starscream reaches his full potential to become a scheming metal Iago, Soundwave somehow manages to be even more creepy NOT speaking and Megatron goes from being the one-dimensional byword for tedious head villain to a genuinely frightening and compelling warmonger. As for the Autobots, Bulkhead and Bumblebee take their cues from the Iron Giant and R2-D2, Ratchet is played by the Re-Animator himself, Jeffrey Combs like a transfroming Doctor McCoy, guarded warrior Arcee is described on this very show as being like Trinity but less robotic and Peter Cullen turns in his best grave, powerful performance as Optimus, finally being given the kind of things to say and do that make you remember why he's the leader you'd follow into robot hell and back. It's so good we did two shows on it, covering first Autobots and then Decepticons over Season 1. We've saved the big spoilers for the end of the second show so you really should listen at least that far and then get hold of these. Joining us are Mike Hearn of Walter the Wicked web-comic who provided us with stunning Transformers artwork for the website (Visit his Patreon here), Neil Taylor and Jerome McIntosh of GameBurst and Andrew Pidhajeckyk of the Digital Drift Community. The Transformers road trip comes to a triumphant end as we close out our Prime conversation in unusual circumstances, discussing a group of characters who have struggled since 1984 to be expressed as anything other than thugs or buffoons, The Decepticons, Turns out all it took to portray them as a group of warriors with their own motivations, weaknesses, misgivings and strengths was decent writing, building upon both well-established characters finally given dimensions of personality and newcomers who swiftly became fan favourites. It's been a wild ride through the Transformers series, but I'm very happy we could end on such a high note. Joining us once again are Mike Hearn of Walter the Wicked web-comic (I'm a patron of his webcomic http://www.patreon.com/Wicked?ty=a), Neil Taylor and Jerome McIntosh of GameBurst and Andrew Pidhajeckyk of the Digital Drift Community.
