Easter Sunday reminds that no matter how broken or burdened we may feel, through Christ's death and resurrection, we have the opportunity to have a fresh start and embrace the abundant life that God has for us. Jesus desires to bring healing, help, and a renewed hope to our lives. He raises dead people back to life!TALK ABOUT IT - Questions to GROW through with family, friends, & myself. 1. What Easter traditions does my family celebrate? How do they help us understand the resurrection of Jesus?2. Why is the resurrection of Jesus so important in the Christian faith? Why is it important to me?3. What is the “evidence” that convinced me of the historicity of the resurrection? What keeps me believing?4. How does faith factor into my belief about Christianity? How does it factor into my belief concerning the resurrection?5. PRAYER: “Father, I admit that I need Jesus. I believe Jesus died for me. I commit my life to following Jesus!”

What do you think of when you think of grace?  When you see the world, is it a dark place or a beautiful place full of possibilities? Are you thankful for what you have, or do you find yourself pining for something just out of your reach? It's Easter week, part 3 - What Easter means to you and Jesus + Nothing = Your Freedom. Today, let's talk about the key to receiving God's grace that he gave us through Jesus' death and resurrection. Today is for you if… If you're tired of feeling like the other shoes will drop any minute. If you need some encouragement. If you're ready to put on a new lens to see your world as Father intended you to. Easter is a time of reflection, renewal, and rebirth. As we contemplate the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for us, we remind ourselves of the power of grace in our lives. Grace is God's favor; it's Him leaning toward us to give us His best offer. One of the quickest ways to receive this amazing grace is by focusing on the gifts that we've been given. Often, it can be easy to take our blessings for granted and overlook them.  By adopting a daily gratitude practice, we can see the world through a lens of abundance and appreciate the small things in life. We get more of what we focus on. Here are five ways to cultivate gratitude: 1. Gratitude Journaling Spend a few minutes daily writing down a few things you're grateful for. This simple practice can help shift your focus from what's going wrong to what's going right in your life. 2. Express Appreciation  Take the time to thank someone who has done something kind for you or supported you somehow. Whether it's a simple thank you note, a text, or a phone call, expressing appreciation can help cultivate a sense of gratitude. 3. Mindful Living Cultivate a habit of mindful living by paying attention to the present moment rather than worrying about the past or future. We're more likely to notice the small things we're grateful for when living in the moment. 4. Volunteer or Give Back Giving back to others can help us develop a sense of gratitude for the blessings we have in our lives. Volunteer at a local church or charity or donate to a cause you care about. 5. Practice Positive Self-Talk Don't forget yourself! Show yourself gratitude by practicing positive self-talk.  Instead of criticizing yourself for what you haven't achieved, focus on what you have accomplished and are grateful for. How can you find more gratitude? What's one thing you can do today to cultivate gratitude for the good stuff in your life? If you're grateful for this podcast, can you do me a favor and please share it with a friend that could use some encouragement? Thanks a bunch for listening!  You got this, and Father's got you! Until Next Time, Live Fearlessly Free!

Actions speak louder than words. And in today's world where it seems that we just talk over each other, our actions have never been more important. Jesus tries to tell the people that titles do not matter, but rather, the works we have been given are the most important. When the people are unsatisfied with that response, Jesus plainly says, “I and the Father are one.” As we live as Easter people, knowing of the truth of the resurrection, where are we hearing the Echoes of the Easter message in Jesus' statements? What Easter truths are you hearing today? Let's explore how we are to live out the Easter message and allow our actions speak for us.

With Christian holidays becoming increasingly secularized it's easy to allow Jesus to take a back seat. When that happens, we are destined to end up in 'the fray.' From overindulgence to pride and selfishness, to arguments, to flat out not recognizing Jesus, the fray distracts us from what's most important. Here's two questions to consider: What Easter traditions do you have? Do they focus on Jesus or are they all about the bunny? In this episode we talk about family holiday traditions, especially around Easter, and how we can develop memory making, God glorifying traditions in our homes. Let us know what you think! TL;DR: We discuss the announcement of our autographed Folklore CD and merch of your choice giveaway, reminder of Swiftie Confessions, 2021 Grammy nominations, Taylor's new documentary Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, Folklore revisited, and our wild new theories. Oh boy… did we have a lot to cover in this episode! There was no way we could ignore the Grammys, Taylor Swift's six nominations, and The Weeknd's majorly controversial snub. After ranting about how trash the Grammy voting committee is, the sheer disrespect to what we consider Taylor's biggest competition for the award show, Justin Bieber's pure ignorance and entitlement (read the room, Justin!), and our winner predictions -- we discuss the next huge drop in the Taylor Swift community, her new documentary Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions on Disney+! Where does she find the time? We talk about the biggest revelations we learned from the movie (looking at you, "Mirrorball"), one of the host's newfound... appreciation... for Jack Antonoff, and how the documentary overall changed how we feel about the album. We end this episode with an abridged, heavily edited down previously recorded episode where we revisit Folklore and the opinions you shared with us. Of course, this was recorded before her new documentary (a head's up would've been nice, Taylor!), so we cut it down to just the important stuff, like Kressie's new theory about "The 1," and Ali's realization of how Karlie Kloss could come into play. We wouldn't be a true Taylor Swift podcast if we didn't have at least a few episodes that become irrelevant days after recording!
