I am charmed by an article I read in the Guardian recently about a fascinating discovery. Scientists detected a natural sugar found in raspberries in an enormous cloud of dust and gas that's near the heart of the Milky Way. I know I'm the one making this leap and this isn't how chemistry works, but I imagine that if I were in space, and presuming I wouldn't freeze to death, I could stick out my tongue and the air would taste faintly like raspberries.

Today's Headlines: Trump's personal aide Natalie Harp — dubbed the "Human Printer" by the Wall Street Journal — follows the president around with a printer for his Truth Social posts and is responsible for his midnight rage posting, including the Obama monkeys video, because no one else on his comms team has any visibility into what goes out at 2am. The Oregon Supreme Court unanimously ruled last week that Washington County can ban the sale of flavored tobacco products, including vapes and hookah. County commissioners passed the ban in 2021, but it’s been tied up in court since retailers sued to stop it in 2022. The decision came just days after the federal Food and Drug Administration, for the first time, authorized the sale of some fruit-flavored vape pods.   Gwyn Ashcom is a senior program coordinator at Washington County Public Health.
