Today Dave Jackson from the School of Podcasting and Erik K. Johnson from Podcast Talent Coach take a look at the Pharmacist's Voice hosted by Kim Newlove. Here is the description of the podcast: The Pharmacist's Voice The Pharmacist's Voice Podcast is a weekly, journey-style podcast about Ohio pharmacist Kim Newlove's career change from pharmacist to voice actor. She alternates solo shows and interview shows. The solo shows are about her career change, and the interview shows feature a variety of people who use their voices to advocate, educate, or entertain. What We Liked About the Show Kim does a good job explaining why the guest is on a show and has a clear idea of who should (and shouldn't be on her show). Kim does a good job of bringing the guest back on topic. Her audio sounds great. Her website is a PHENOMENAL example of someone who has a business AND a podcast and doesn't bury the podcast while keeping the business front and center. Some Things That Could Use Some Tweaking Kim is a voice actor, so her diction is perfect. Towards the end of the show, we conclude that when she slows down the speed of her talking it makes it appear that her diction and delivery is a bit stiff. Her demo is amazing and filled with energy. We want more of that. While Kim's website does a great job of promoting her business, she barely mentions her services in the podcast. She does ask people to visit her website but could boost this effort by explaining why. We provide a few examples of how to tie her business into her podcast. Conclusion As a journey podcast, Kim's podcast has already resulted in her getting some voice work. With 100 episodes under her belt, she is doing a lot of things correctly. He website is a great website where everything appears planned, and her brand just oozes professionalism. We wish her all the best. On tonight's episode, KUWTK centers around Kim visitng the White House as part of her criminal justice reform work, Scott facing some health issues, and Khloé's quest to cure Kim's crippling fear of spiders. While Kim is working on her documentary centered around criminal justice reform, she visits the White House with three women (Crystal Munoz, Judith Negron, and Tynice Nichole Hall) who have just had their jail sentences pardoned with the help of her and Alice Marie Johnson. They go to meet the President to help put faces with the issue and help advocate for policy changes. North starts asking Kim for a pet tarantula, which happens to be Kim's biggest fear in life. So, naturally, Khloé brings a professional spider wrangler to the house. Khloé will not rest until Kim's fear goes away, and starts bringing them around when she least expects it. Kim perseveres to make North happy. Scott notices himself feeling weak and tired, and he's nervous it may be Covid. Kim sends him to a special doctor to get to the root of the problem, as he reflects on the past damage he's done on his body. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

While Kim and Erran don't fit this bill, they have a really interesting story and something I've been wanting to talk about on the show for a while: being a traveling healthcare professional (related, but slightly different than travel nursing). In this episode, you will meet Kim L., who helped start a secular Al-Anon meeting in Boise, Idaho. While Kim isn't entirely uncomfortable at traditional Al-Anon meetings, she was motivated to start a secular meeting because she knows of people who wouldn't avail themselves to the help they can find in Al-Anon because of their perception that it is religious. Unfortunately, her group has been met with resistance from the Al-Anon World Service Office as well as the local Al-Anons in Boise. Kim shares the story here.
While Kim & Kourtney have a pleasant night at the PCAs, Drake unfortunately can't say the same. Plus, Kristen Bell's stuck in a sh*tty situation…literally. Watch!
Today’s episode is a review of a fabulous SciFi novel entitled Lucy, which was written by Thea Ramsay. Description: Ten-year-old Lucy and her parents live on Earth in the last throes of its final holocaust. Their only hope is being accepted as refugees on another world, but one rejection letter after another eats away at their hope, while death closes in on them. Hope revives when a stranger arrives with a letter of acceptance from the mysterious planet Andorpha. While Lucy, her best friend, Kim, and her parents wait to board the space ship, her parents are killed. Lucy faces danger and growth as she comes to grips with her parents' death and the strange customs of Andorpha. While Kim laps up Andorphian love like warm milk, Lucy wonders if it's all too good to be true. When Lucy learns the Andorphians believe their planet is under a curse, she begins to suspect there is a reason that she and her family were so readily accepted as refugees. Do they expect her to be the antidote to an ancient curse? When Kim urges Lucy to accept the Andorphians and their way of life, the only shot at life they have, Lucy is certain she's right. But all is not what it seems. So a second summit between Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump has ended before dessert with both parties storming out of Hanoi.I’d love to say I told you so except I didn’t tell you so. That’s because after my cynicism regarding the first summit I got attacked by a lot of you as a warmongering Trump hater who couldn’t bring himself to praise the greatest peacemaker of our time. But the failure of the second summit is proof to me that the first summit was a mistake.Kim came to Hanoi and demanded that sanctions were lifted. Trump said no and they all went home. But the problem is that Kim is framing everything and leading everything. Twice in nine months, he has roused the President of the United States out of the White House to make a sojourn to Asia.Twice Kim has been pictured shaking Trump’s hands and being treated as an equal rather than as the outlier despot he really is. While Kim will never say a bad thing about Trump, the real reflection of his attitude to the States is heard as he roundly slags off lower level representatives like Pompeo and Bolton.Meanwhile, Mr Trump kow-tows calling Kim an impressive man and ruminating about pausing military exercises in the area. With Chinese aspirations rising in the South China Seas I wouldn’t be pulling the fleet back. The timing was also terrible for the President as a propaganda event. Instead of being seen as a world leader he attended an abortive summit while world headlines concentrated on his former lawyer calling him names like racist and conman and reaffirming the idea that the President likes the company of pornstars. And all along Kim’s nukes sit waiting in a mountain somewhere. And while everything is on pause North Korea can potentially carry out further work on its nuclear and conventional weapons programs, upping the stakes in future talks.I never thought Kim has given anything so far. He has disestablished a launch facility that was broken and was going to be abandoned anyway. His tests had achieved what they needed to and I believe North Korea was going to pause it’s programme anyway. And while Trump scurries home, Kim is hanging out in Hanoi sightseeing and enjoying diplomatic relations that the Koreans have not enjoyed for decades.Much is made at home of Trump’s success in getting Kim to the table. That is ignorant of the US attitude of maximum pressure that has existed since the 50s. The Koreans have been begging for respect and a summit for 50 years. Mr Trump was the first of nine presidents to grant that to them and in doing so North Korea is enjoying better times with no relief for their own oppressed and starved people and no relinquishing of the nuclear arsenal. There was a better way of handling all this rather than Trump’s grandstanding for some grandiose clicks and tweets.
Sarah and co-host Tish Hamilton convene with three BAMRs who each nabbed a personal best in Twin Cities races to find out how they got the job done. First up is Kathy Bray, an attorney and mom of two, who bested her Twin Cities 10-Miler from eleven years ago. (Despite sandbagging like a champ to SBS at the expo!) Kathy tells how rediscovering gratitude about being healthy and injury-free pushed her to dig a little deeper on race day. She explains how getting out of her own head helped her power up hills and do the all-important—trust in her training. Find out what soundtrack also drove Kathy up the inclines (hint: She wasn’t throwing away her PR shot!). Next up: Christina Ashtiani, a mom of three and a real estate agent, shares how she set a 13-minute PR (5:37) in the marathon. Like Kathy, strength training worked wonders for Christina. Laugh along as she describes being “an energy vampire” in the final mile. Hear about her experience with a pace group. The final guest is Kim Truesdell, a writer + fitness instructor as well as a mom of two. While Kim missed her time goal, the 2018 Twin Cities Marathon was the first time she broke the four-hour mark. She shares the mental tricks she used when the going got tough, and find out the apt word printed on her bib. Unlike Christina, Kim relays a less-positive pace-group experience, but she reveals how she went it alone. In the intro, Tish and SBS share the artistic activities they are enjoying with their respective kids. Tish gives an update on her long-distance love life, including a recent race she and her boyfriend both ran, but definitely not side-by-side. And Sarah talks about her family’s upcoming European vacation. The first of the three PR-nabbing guests joins the conversation at 25:00. Thirty-three year old Jeramy Burt was putting his life back together. After an affair with his lawyer, his wife, Kim, filed for divorce and the two went their separate ways, though they were forever bonded through their young daughter. Jeramy regretted his mistakes and worked hard to make amends and regain Kim's trust. After his lawyer tried to coerce him into lying under oath in an attempt to frame her assistant, Jeramy recorded their conversations and testified against her in front of the grand jury. While his ex-lawyer, and former girlfriend, served a year in prison, Jeramy and Kim reconnected and began to repair the damage to their relationship. In February of 2007, they were living together and talking about future possibilities. Unfortunately, his old girlfriend had gotten out of prison and was pressuring Jeramy to come back to her. While Kim was in Las Vegas, for a work seminar, Jeramy spent the weekend with family back in his hometown of American Falls, Idaho. Upon returning, on Sunday evening, Jeramy spoke with Kim and then told his father he was going to meet a friend. He never came back.A series of bizarre texts were sent to Kim's cell phone, from Jeramy's phone. They alleged that he was moving on with his life, leaving town and planning to start a new life under a new identity. It made no sense, and Jeramy might leave Kim, but he would never leave his family, or his beloved daughter. Unfortunately, since the texts were from Jeramy's phone, and he was an adult, there was little police could do. However, when Kim reported that he'd left in her car, they did file reports about her missing vehicle. After several strange events, Kim's car was discovered three months later. It had been abandoned in the desolate Bruneau desert, one hundred miles south of Boise and it had been set ablaze. Little evidence could be recovered from the scene, but this disturbing find finally caused the Boise Police Department to launch an official investigation. What happened to Jeramy Burt and how could his disappearance possibly be connected to that of another Idaho man, with whom he was acquainted, three years earlier? Join host Steven Pacheco as he examines this disturbing disappearance and highly complicated case in the first of this two-part episode. For more information please visit: https://www.trace-evidence.comhttps://www.patreon.com/traceevidence Social Media:https://twitter.com/TraceEvPodhttps://www.instagram.com/traceevidencepod/https://www.facebook.com/groups/traceevidencepodMusic Courtesy of: "Lost Time" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/Sources: http://charleyproject.org/case/jeramy-carl-burt | https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/cold-case-spotlight/idaho-family-seeks-answers-11-year-search-jeramy-burt-n848676 | https://www.idahostatejournal.com/members/american-falls-man-missing-since-mother-believes-he-was-the/article_72af6916-b64a-11e3-9843-0019bb2963f4.html | http://thecontextofthings.com/2014/04/14/is-the-disappearance-of-jeramy-carl-burt-tied-to-jeannie-braun-or-jeannie-el-bakri/ | http://boiseguardian.com/2005/08/30/jailhouse-lawyer/ | http://www.missingveterans.com/2007/jeramy-carl-burt/ | https://www.websleuths.com/forums/threads/id-jeramy-burt-35-boise-11-feb-2007.78166/page-2 | https://www.ktvb.com/article/news/local/police-still-searching-for-boise-man-who-disappeared-10-years-ago/406781673 | https://idahonews.com/news/local/cold-case-jeramy-burt-of-boise-missing-since-february-of-2007 | https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/idahostatejournal/obituary.aspx?n=kimberly-george&pid=180633550&fhid=6418 | http://mydeathspace.com/article/2018/01/20/Kimberly_George_(41)_took_her_life_nine_years_after_her_husband_Jeramy_Carl_Burt_(33)_went_missing | http://blackfootjournal.com/case-of-missing-man-with-ties-to-s-e-idaho-gets-national-attention/

Kim Eisenberg is a Career Counselor and an Organizational Development Consultant who helps people and businesses create healthy relationships with work. She blends her expertise in corporate career services, counseling, and organizational leadership to deliver candid, strengths-based approaches to career and business development. Playing Small Moment Kim noticed her playing small moment after she first started her own business. Kim was fearful that she wasn’t making enough money, so she went out and got herself a full-time job. This job was a step down from what she was doing in the past and ended up being a complete disaster after only one month. The Wake Up Call Although Kim doesn’t like to focus on aha moments, she does remember some wake up calls. While Kim was working at the full-time job mentioned, she received high praise from one of her clients that she was coaching at the time. During this time, Kim also heard one of her research papers was being published by a peer review journal. Style of Leadership Kim has two different styles of leadership: situational and strength-based. She realized that people perceive themselves as much smaller than the world perceives them. Kim loves to delegate and feels that being the boss doesn’t mean she knows it all. Kim surrounds herself with people who have talents that she doesn’t have. What Are You Excited About? The launch of her programs geared toward woman negotiating. Kim doesn’t just mean negotiation for jobs; she is talking about all aspects of life. Leadership Practice Kim practices active listening. She believes the more substance the better. She also practices being a leader who can be in the present moment with people and not think about her own agenda.
