This week Erin and Brennan are picked up in a time machine captained by Walter Cronkite! Is it a time machine or a spaceship? Or a spaceship time machine?? Whatever it is, it's filled with BRAAAAINNNN GRAAAAAIIIINNN!!!!! A cereal that makes your brain grow, like, a lot! We meet Rex, Elsa, Woog, and Dweeb, dinosaurs (and a pterosaur) that are brought to the 90's to fulfill the wishes of children at The Museum of Natural History *wink* (new law, it must be said in the voice of Cronkite for all time). On the other hand, there is Professor Screweyes who sees our Mesozoic friends as monsters in his show of frights and fears. We talk zombies, Totoro, chainsaws, unreliable friends, and a murder of crows. To be honest though, there's nothing wrong with a horror circus, so we're not actually sure why Screweyes is considered bad. In a month we are calling June Gloom, this is one of our most uplifting and beautiful films from our childhoods. We'll rendez-vous, we'll rendez-vous.

I'm super excited to have my next guest, Dan Woog on the Hockey Journey Podcast. He grew up in the state of hockey and carved out an impressive career, eventually earning a college roster spot at the University of Minnesota, and we're going to find out how he did it. If you think the road he had to travel was easy, well, if almost dying in a rock slide near his South St. Paul home was part of the plan, being told he'd never walk again, and if he did, it would be with a limp, I want to see how he climbed out of that challenging experience and realized his hockey dream! Dan's hockey journey is part one of the story, being the son of one of the most influential, iconic hockey individuals Minnesota has ever produced, my coach at the University of Minnesota, is part two of the story. I really enjoyed going back to a period of time on my hockey journey, that shaped me and prepared me for what I didn't know then, but would eventually end up being a 12 year professional career, and my experience at that school prepared me to take advantage of that once in a life-time hockey opportunity! So sit back, grab your preferred beverage, and let's dive into the hockey journey of Dan Woog. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the conversation and I hope you have a wonderfully productive day!! Annerlei wat man op'n Weeken-, in Supermart oder bi'n Hööker an de Eck inköfft. Na jo, düt un dat kann man je plon‘. Bi menniged kann man sick ook Tied loten, üm Priese to verglieken un so. Fröher, to D-Mark-Tieden, hett man för'n Handvull Duusenders jümmers wat Anstänniged kreegen, wo man good un gern fief, süss Johr mit fohrn kunn. Un ick fohr veel. Ook mol mit'n Wohnwoog achter an Hoken. Denn, as de Euro keem, hebbt sick de Priese tehmli gau verdubbelt. De Euro weer twor dubbelt so veel wert as de D-Mark, overs bald weern jüst so veel Euro-Duusenders nödig as in Mark, üm 'n Auto för to kriegen, dat fief, süss Johr good holn hett. Nu heff ick mi also mit 'n Handvull Duusenders vör'n Compjuter sett, üm notgedrung‘ no'n frisched Auto to sööken. Dor harr ick gor keen Lust un noch weniger Tied to. Man good, dat ick vör'n Compjuter „seeten“ heff. In düssen Sinn

Oh Lüüd, an't Enn vun't Johr bruuk ick langsom mol 'n frisched Auto. So'n oln Damper heff ick nu ook. To veel Elektronik. Överhaupt ward allns so buut, wat man jümmers weller mol 'n Barg Geld an de Warksteed överwiesen mutt. Overs tominst för den Kummer heff ick al 'n Lösung: Wenn man nömli op de A23 vun Heid‘ no Süden fohrt, denn kümmt man je an‘ Rastplatz „Dithmarscher Geest“ vorbi. Un op den Rastplatz steiht al siet Februar 'n sülbergrauen Ford Mondeo ohn‘ Nummernschillers. Ick heff dacht, wat man sien Auto, wenn man dat ni mehr bruukt, gor ni op so 'n öffentlichen Parkplatz entsorgen dörft. Overs dor heff ick mi anschiend tüüscht. Denn dörf ick dat je wohrschienli ook. Tscha, een Probleem weniger: Wenn ick also würkli noch 'n anstänniged niedet gebruukted Auto finn‘, denn stell ick mien oln Woog eenfach ohn‘ de Schillers blang den Ford op de Raststeed, un denn bün ick em los. Overs so wiet bün ick leider noch ni... In düssen Sinn
