Welcome to episode 78. This week Chris and Jay are reunited after Jay's long trip to the Philippines and there is a lot to talk about. We join the boys after a feast of Philipino sausages and there is a lot to catch up on. There is the Olympics, UFC 304 and, naturally, Jay's big tip to the homeland. It's full of tales of culture clashes and daring journeys into the wilderness. It's fine, the whole family made it back, but that may be more luck than judgement. This week we learn about one of Chris and Jay's best Training Partners, Nigel, the man with the Voice of an Angel. Now, why did we pick Nigel for Ep 77? Well the reasons are legit, as you will hear. While Uncle Jay and Nigel go way back, for Chris, there is a lot to learn about this tattooed, motorbike riding, bearded blue belt. Nigel fills us in on his BJJ Journey, he gives us a little sample of his extensive MMA Knowledge and gives us an insight into the life of the middle class van man. It's our first Podcast guest in a while, our first without Uncle Jay and our first time recording in a VW Campervan. How did it go? I don't want to brag, but it was definitely Better Than Average.
