This week Between the Pylons brings you a breakdown of the NFL Playoff Picture, including predicting final seeding and discussing all the different wild card possibilities. Will long shots like the Ravens, Patriots, and Eagles sneak into the playoffs? Can the Chiefs beat out the Steelers for the 1st seed and the only playoff bye? The guys discuss all this and much more in a round table style discussion on the NFL Playoff picture.

Jon and Jacob dive deep into the past and future of the Chargers, Bengals, and Panthers. We also have a special guest pop by to talk about the Lions. Chris Robin, an excellent football/fantasy football analyst, and die-hard Lions fan comes in to talk about the Detroit Lions' past and future. Between the Pylons plans to take a look at the playoff picture for the NFL over the next two weeks by diving into each conference. This week the guys focus on the NFC, including a breakdown of every division and looking in at the remaining schedule of the teams currently in tight races for division and wildcard races. Do the Vikings have a chance to sneak into the playoffs? Could the Rams concur the NFC West? Will the Bucs be able to outpace the Saints after being swept in their head-to-head matchups. This week the guys start up an old segment from last year, where they close the book on teams that have no chance of competing this season. Early? Sure, but for these two teams, it was over before it began. Jon brings you both his unfiltered fan reaction to Tua's first real performance in the NFL as well as a far more leveled analysis of just how well he performed. The guys close out the show as they so often do with our picks of the week along with our locks of the week. They added a new addition to this segment in which the guys also come up with some play prop bets that they may like.

This week the guys discuss all the different angles of the trade deadline, including the most likely teams looking to add talent for a final push as well as players rumored to be on the move (there were technical difficulties during the Carlos Bunlap Convo, so it was cut from this pod). The guys also discuss Tom Brady and Antonio Brown's reunion in Tampa and how that will play out as the Bucs have become one of the best teams in the NFL. Tua is starting in Miami this week, so the guys also discuss the expectation for the former 5th pick in the Draft as he makes his starting debut in the NFL. As always, we finish out the show with our game picks. This week the guys disagree on 8 different games, so stay tuned for a somewhat contentious picks episode, but the guys did find two games they agree on, so stay tuned for our locks of the week!

With week 6 in the books, Between the Pylons breaks down all the biggest news in a round table discussion covering Bell getting cut and signing with the Chiefs, Tua Tagovailoa becoming the starter in Miami the possibility of the Falcons cleaning house. The conversation also encompasses the QBs from the 2017 draft that included Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, and Lamar Jackson. We discuss which teams may need to move on from the current signal-caller and an overarching discussion of just how much of a crapshoot the NFL draft is for the players being selected.

This week the guys dive deep into the ramifications of the Dak Prescott injury, including how the Cowboys fare this season, if Dak will be getting a long term contract any time soon, and consider other QB options for the Cowboys moving forward. The guys also discuss the recent firing of Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff, as well as discuss how hot the Adam Gase hot seat is getting. LeVeon Bell was cut just hours after finishing this pod, but the guys did discuss the trade rumors that we had heard and considered the best possible fits for Bell. This week Jon lost the Shot bet when the Texans beat the Jags by more than 3 points in week 5. Stay tuned to see what bet the guys will be taking in week 6. The Guys dive into the effect COVID has on the NFL in week 4 and try to look forward to what will happen in week 5 (It should be noted that after recording this, news broke that the Titans held an unauthorized team practice as well as the act that another player was diagnosed with COVID-19), They also cheer on the firing of Bill O'Brien and Between the Pylons has long been the leader of the fire O'Brien bandwagon. On the theme of bad coaches, the guys also discuss the other coaches feeling the hot seat this season and try to predict who would be the best replacement in Houston.

In a Bonus Pod, Jon goes solo and talks about some of his success with Prop Bets and Parlays in the NFL as well give some tips on Prop Bets.
