I have been scared about so many things in my life - especially when I've tried something new. Fear in business is a common experience, even for seasoned entrepreneurs and the first step is to acknowledge this. In this week's podcast episode, I open up about my own struggles with fear and share insights on how to navigate these challenging emotions.
Over the past decade, my business has experienced tremendous growth and transformation. As a Virgo, I approach our work with intention, carefully considering how and why we do things. I'm proactive in making changes to align the business with the current season of my life. Sometimes these adjustments arise from practical needs—like having kids, traveling, or team dynamics. Other times, they stem from recognizing boundaries, managing burnout, or focusing on how I want to spend my time. My friend, Natatlie MacNeil, taught me that it's okay to give yourself permission to be in different phases or seasons of life and business. You don't have to achieve everything at once or write every book of your career right now. Currently, I'm in a reflective phase as my young kids grow and require more of my attention. To support both my and Mark's mental health, we've taken a partial sabbatical while we build our new home and prioritize our family and personal interests. Of course, we still work, particularly in the Money Bootcamp community by welcoming new members and hosting our monthly coaching calls, but we've intentionally slowed our pace. We're focusing on simplifying our lives instead of chasing a massive financial goal. This journey has been enlightening. In this week's podcast, I share a life and business update.

Today on the Chill and Prosper podcast, I'm doing one of my favorite formats… Ask me anything! We're talking confidence, plateaus and more…

Is your business model working for you, or are you working for it? It's a question we often forget to ask ourselves as entrepreneurs, caught up in the hustle and grind of building our empires. But here's the thing: your business should fit your lifestyle and goals, not the other way around. As someone who's been on this journey for years, I've learned (sometimes the hard way) that simplifying your business model can be the key to long-term success and happiness. So, let's dive into how you can create a business that truly works for you.

Ooh, we've got a super sexy topic for today… getting through your to-do list. On today's podcast, I'm sharing how I stay organized, run my business, and make things easy for myself.
One of my core Chillpreneur principles for life and business is… "There's always an easier way to make money." Do you believe that? What does that idea bring up for you? We're looking closer at this on today's podcast, and I share how to make business easy breezy. If you ever feel like you're swimming against the current in your business, it's time to embrace this philosophy that could change everything: there's always an easier way.
In this week's episode of Chill and Prosper, I'm tackling some of your burning questions about money, business, and success.
If you don't set intentions for where you're going, you often get very confused results from the Universe. Over the past year, there've been times when I've felt I didn't have any big goals in my life. Part of that was "Lucky B problems" - I'd achieved many things on my dream board and business was going well, but I also didn't know what I wanted next. And when this happens, you'll find things get wishy-washy, and it's easy to drift or get distracted. So today, we're talking about the power of daily affirmations to change your life and business.
I've got a question for you: Are you investing in the right areas of your business? Are you wondering where to invest your hard-earned money? It's a common question, and the answer isn't always straightforward. But don't worry, I've got you covered! In today's episode, I'm sharing my insights on smart business investments that can propel your growth.
Raising your prices can feel like a daunting task, especially when you're worried about losing clients. But what if I told you it's not just about the numbers? It's about understanding your worth, communicating effectively, and aligning your energy with your new pricing. It's about clearing any blocks that are making money feel hard. I get if it feels like a strange time to be considering a price increase - with the cost of living going up for us all, but if you're fully booked, in demand, or know you can help people, then a price increase might make sense and can be done sensitively. I'll answer your questions about increasing your prices in today's episode.
Are you feeling the pressure to slash your prices right now? I get it. When sales are slow, it's tempting to wave that discount wand. But here's the thing: there are so many ways to boost your business without devaluing your amazing offerings. If you're only discounting from a place of panic - STOP. Discounting can be tricky - mostly because it trains your audience to wait until you have a discount or offer a special deal. From a money mindset perspective, it can sometimes send the message that you don't value yourself at full price. From a branding perspective, it can damage your brand. Not always - sometimes discounting can be entirely appropriate - maybe you're discontinuing a product, you want to incentivize early birds, you're doing a Beta version of a program, or just because you feel like it. Some industries regularly offer a discount for payment in full or seasonal discounts. There is no right or wrong - but if you're contemplating slashing and burning your prices right now - I've got some alternative strategies for you on today's podcast.
Time to check in - where are you at with your business right now? Let's take an honest look and identify a few tweaks and improvements you can make before the end of the year.
One of the most common challenges I can help you with is pricing - your money around charging and receiving for your work. We get so many questions about pricing, so this month, I'm diving deep into the topic. To kick us off, I've got a jam-packed Ask Me Anything episode on the pod talking all things pricing.
This bonus episode is the audio from a call that I had this week with Jeff Walker and some amazing members of our community. We talked honestly about launching, imposter syndrome and why it's so important to get started. As Jeff said, the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is today. This was such an in-depth call, Jeff is incredibly nice so it's totally worth watching.
Ohhh this is one of my favorite topics and something I'm going DEEP with right now! Let's talk about how and why DECLUTTERING can help you manifest. You'll love this if you're just getting started and you're new to developing your manifesting muscle. And if you're a manifesting veteran who may be feeling a little skeptical, let's get back to basics and reconnect with the magic of possibility.
Not everyone aspires to a big million-dollar launch or can even see that as a possibility. And it's totally okay if that's not your goal. But the reason I love talking so much about launching is to show you that these big launches are possible. A normal person like you or me CAN achieve a 7-figure launch. It's not common and not easy, but it's possible. And if you're like me, that will motivate you to want to learn more about how it could be possible for you. And trust me, it's worth it. A 7-figure launch will probably not happen by accident, so the first step is demystifying what it takes and what you would need to make this happen.
Not everyone is a good coach. Just because you admire someone or their business, doesn't mean they're the right coach for you. I've definitely been burned by this - Sometimes it's hard to find a coach who aligns with your needs and stage of life and business. There are so many types of coaches, so today let's check in with exactly what you need and how to find what you're looking for.
Let's roll up our sleeves and talk about how to finally get your course done. I get so frustrated and annoyed by people who are procrastinating on launching their online course, not because it's easy, but because it's something you have to just get it done. It doesn't have to be perfect and I promise it will be worth it. So listen to today's podcast episode for my tips and wisdom on getting your course out into the world.
What are you really selling? When people are looking at their budgets or feeling a little more stretched, you need to be crystal clear on what you're offering and how you can help. If you're in a service based business like a VA, designer or photographer you might be seeing clients say “I'll just do it myself” or delaying purchases. So, when times are a little tougher, get clear on the real benefit of your offer. Like a personal trainer, maybe it's accountability rather than the actual workout routine. Your prospects are likely busy, and there may never be an ideal time for them, but when you know what you offer and can communicate it in their language, you're more likely to get them off the fence. Listen to today's podcast episode for more.
Ok, let's check in - How are you going with your money boundaries? If you're like me, you may need to regularly check where you've got good, bad, or ugly boundaries to find areas that need tightening up. Uncovering these areas of your life and business where there has been boundary creep often reveals some underlying money lessons that you can work on. In today's podcast, I've got a checklist for us to go through and some simple actions you can take to set better boundaries around time and money.
Ooohh! Such a juicy one for you today - Other people's money blocks. As you go through your money journey, you may have started to work on your money mindset and money blocks, but other people's money stuff could be derailing you. Most of your money blocks revolve around made-up stories and old beliefs about what you can be, do, and have. You also have stories about how your income affects your friends, family, and community. If you've been stuck at the same income level for a while, it's worthwhile to see if you're unconsciously holding yourself back for other people in your life.
Today's podcast episode is about what to say when you have nothing to say. I know a lot of people in this space right now. For whatever reason, whether it be the aftermath of the pandemic, the economy, or the state of global politics, it can be hard to know what to say or whether to say anything at all. We're living in a time when it's never been easier to start and grow an online business. Still, it's also impossible to ignore the atrocities and inequity happening every day. When you consider what's happening in the world, it might feel trite to talk about your business or market yourself. This feels like a lot, so it's understandable if you're unsure what to say online. I wish we could solve all of the world's problems. But one thing I know is that not doing your business is probably not going to help. So, if you feel like you have nothing to say or are just tired and overwhelmed, this episode is for you.
I've got a juicy new Ask Me Anything podcast episode for you.
