Telegram channel with daily curated music: https://t.me/cultkitchen_radio Ambient & experimental 24/7: https://cultkitchen.radio We're beyond excited to share a special mixtape with you from @hoavi (aka Kirill Vasin), a St Petersburg-based producer and DJ who has been an integral part of the underground scene for over a decade. Hoavi's journey began in the early 2010s when he founded his label, Shells Rattle, and he has since released music on labels such as floe, Snare Tapes, Peak Oil, Fauxpas, Minor Notes and ГОСТ ЗВУК. Beyond his solo work, Hoavi has collaborated with artists like Oomkah Dee, contributing to the "Collage" series, which blends sound art with contemporary dance. We've first got acquainted with his ambient side thanks to the album "Music for Six Rooms" which we also invite you to revisit. We were so taken by it at the time that we reached out to him to add one more gem to our collection. The mix he recorded for us is a beautiful blend of genres and emotions, with ambient tracks, dubby sounds and abstract beats – a journey through soundscapes and experimental vibes. It's not pure ambient, but the sound flows so naturally that it felt like the perfect fit for our series. Telegram channel with daily curated music: t.me/cultkitchen_radio Ambient & experimental 24/7: www.cultkitchen.radio @sofia-rodina, a prominent figure in the electronic music scene, has just unveiled a captivating new story for the CultKitchen Radio Show. This session features Sofia performing live piano at @arma17, blending classical elements with electronic soundscapes, and the extension of the story recorded after the event. Telegram channel with daily curated music: https://t.me/cultkitchen_radio Ambient & experimental 24/7: https://cultkitchen.radio @omasoul_live is the project of musician, sound producer, and vocalist Mikhail Ostrovsky. Previously, he released electronic music under the name Coma Soul in collaboration with guitarist Andrey Efimenko. He is also the creator and bandleader of Dharmony and Ostrovsky. Having developed a distinctive musical style, omasoul constantly experiments with sound, always seeking deeper narratives. His work offers a captivating journey, filled with the magic of the moment, telling stories through sound — perfectly aligned with the ethos of the CultKitchen Radio Show. His music draws inspiration from ambient layers of lo-fi electronica, poetry, and the grooves of analogue sound. The diversity and uniqueness of omasoul's never-repeating sets have become his signature. His sound defies traditional formats, yet consistently evokes a nostalgic warmth—a hypnotic electronica crafted for true connoisseurs. Deep, soulful, and rhythmic, his tracks are paired with mystical vocals that pull listeners into immersive experiences. Mikhail believes that ambient music is a precise way to convey meanings, describe processes, and share deeply personal emotions. As he puts it, “It's difficult to find the right words to explain it, because the music itself is the description.” Through weaving delicate ambient textures into sonic forms, omasoul expresses his thoughts as honestly as possible, free from external expectations. Knowing how powerful music can be, he hopes listeners experience the same beautiful moments he felt while recording these pieces. This mix for CultKitchen Radio Show features his unreleased tracks, field recordings, ocean sounds, Indian bird songs, and musical sketches from improvisational ambient sessions with Andrey Efimenko.

Paced into a contemplative sonic path that finds the light at the end of the tunnel. Our world can seem without hope some days, but the key is to not buy into the subtle distractions called fear. The truth is that there is more light than darkness. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

He collects vinyl and passionately promotes the label. Also, he plays experimental music live in a duo with jazz drummer Sasha Mashin, who has more than once convinced Russia of his genius. Alexey also has his own video magazine about electronic music producers – Russian Electronic Music Minds. This recording is basically one of his existing ambient playlist that he mixed for the podcast. These playlists help him in work not related to music production or during relaxation. This music allows the mind to be concentrated and wondering in dreams at the same time. By the way, the mix also includes Alexey's own production.

From Ukraine, based in Berlin, @cadihh started DJing in 2018. Through the years, her passion for different genres of electronic music grew, and she started to develop herself into minimal and experimental music, with appearances in local clubs and festivals like Humboldthain Club, IPSE, Paloma Bar, MIT DIR - Festival and more. She also played on some events in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lutsk) and Serbia (Belgrad). 2020 marked a change with a new music approach for Cadih: exploring and diving deep into fast techno, trance and psytrance music, she is now building energetic & emotional sets with a precise selection of the finest tracks. Her last sets and podcasts definitely affirm this new style: an intense and fast race, combining energetic rhythms with playful trance melodies. Supporting alternative initiatives, Cadih took part and played at several underground events around Berlin and private parties in order to keep the freedom spirit & vibe alive. Her first production of experimental music is going to be released on Kōrero and we this is her ambient/experimental podcast for our show.
https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. @tenatmospheres – a hidden gem that we are glad to have on the list! The mix is full of his own production. Based in Vasto, a little town in the south of Italy, "Ten Atmospheres" is a music project started in 2018. Born and raised as a drummer, he played beats for many years until one day at “Ten Atmospheres” depth, he lost the 4/4. He creates his music by blending the recorded sounds and playing synths in the studio, bringing a perfect marriage of his two passions. Always experimenting with new things, never limiting his inspiration for discovering a different way of making music.
https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. Extended interview with @pheek: https://www.cultkitchen.radio/pheek-interview First taking interest as a sound enthusiast, Montreal's Jean-Patrice Remillard began exploring electronic music in earnest by the early 1990s, teaching himself how to produce and manipulate sounds with software and hardware. Pheek now finds himself releasing amongst his idols for such renowned labels as Richie Hawtin's M_NUS, France's Telegraph, Denmark's Tic Tac Toe or Germany's Contexterrior, gaining particular recognition for the unique quality and texture of his sounds. Nourished by his experiences and hoping to construct his own community of likeminded musicians, Pheek founded the Archipel Musique Canada netlabel in 2004 that is now firmly ensconced in the international minimal techno and tech-house scene.
https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. @mxxim has long waited for the release of this podcast, so did we. It's nice to alternate recordings of the world stars with friendly artists from native areas. Especially when they are on the same level in beauty. Moscow-based DJ, vinyl collector, artist, architect, art director of the Dissonance team, known to the public for vinyl minimal house sets with a powerful groove. Now it's time to hear Maxim's ambient set. Experimental mixes of MXXIM are rare and therefore especially valuable. They sound in dissonance with an architectural vision of the artist. In this new mix, he is looking into the past eras and destroyed civilizations, goes through half-forgotten recordings of his favorite songs and rhythms, weaving them into the ambient matter by the end of his journey.
https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. Take a talented person whose dance music mixes usually explode outstanding vibes. Create unusual conditions – like an ambient set in the middle of the night. For sure, something amazing will turn out. So did we – invited Nastya @tkacheva for our showcase in @gazgolderclub.
https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. Both as a DJ and a producer, Patrick Gräser aka @answercoderequest has honed a hybrid musical approach that stands out in a world of uniform 4/4 techno. Melding pad-driven harmonies, intricate breaks and an industrial sonic palette, Gräser has occupied a unique space within the @ostgutton-official cosmos since debuting on the label in 2012 and becoming a Berghain resident shortly thereafter. His various releases and remixes for Ostgut Ton, MDR, Dolly Deluxe and Monkeytown Records continue to be highly sought after. As a DJ, he has taken his bass- and breaks-heavy techno to clubs and festivals around the globe, while remaining an integral part of the Berlin scene. For our show, he recorded a special set that is changing the mood from the beginning to a climax in the middle with a long outro to the end. This mix is made to connect people in the times of self-isolation and to give everyone a positive mood. If you open your imagination, you can explore the personal feelings of Patrick hidden behind the music. Ambient for him is not only background music but a cure that helps you feel more calm and positive in hard times.
https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. @ratigar is a Moscow-based DJ & producer whose sets primarily focus on dark and hypnotic techno, infused with hardcore, IDM and electro from the extensive vinyl collection. Now it's time to listen to his experimental set. You could have heard him in @mutabormoscow and on the events of the @synchr0n promo group. Ratigar released tracks on the Berlin-based label @acht-me and is currently working on a new EP – don't miss as soon as it's out.

In this episode we invite @maher-daniel to showcase his new upcoming ambient/experimental album in a form of a podcast for the show. Over the years Maher Daniel has been an artist who has truly crafted his work and has proven this on the international dance circuit. In 2015, he launched his label @therehtoside that is getting praise, and support from some of the best in the industry. Currently doing label showcases worldwide, his brand has set itself as a top-tier clubbing experience bringing smiles all across the board form SXM Festival in St Marteen to überhaus in Beirut, Lebanon. 2019 was one of the label's and Maher’s biggest year due to collaboration with Ricardo Villalobos and releases from Faster, SIT, Sammy Dee and Petre Inspirescu. Make sure you don't miss the upcoming anniversary release TOS010 that's in presale now with works from Dubfound and remixes by Rhadoo.

cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. We start 2021 with a podcast from the Russian artist @djruta. @baikalpulse is the artist's project originated in the 2010s — an alternative musical layer with a darker side and perception, with elements of ethnic music, tribal, dub techno... for the podcast on CultKitchen Radio — in a more experimental format. The project has an underground soul, transmitting the atmosphere from the depths of the mysterious lake Baikal. For this podcast the artist has selected rare ambient/experimental records collected over these 10 years.
https://cultkitchen.radio — ambient & experimental music 24/7. Recorded live at @mutabormoscow. @xandrvasiliev is an abuser of modular synths. Being a techno-punk at night, the musician prefers laconicism and minimalism in his studio works. The timbral basis of the 2K200309 live program is created by dissected piano loops from excerpts of Ravel and Cage works, controlled by modular algorithms, combined with ascetic electronics. It's a very personal sense of music that usually is outside the dancefloors.

Boris Filin is a Moscow-based Dj that prefers vinyl-only sound. In a short period of time from the beginning of his performances in clubs, he managed to get many positive feedbacks from musicians and clubbers, thanks to the excellent musical taste and technique. His impressive vinyl collection isn't tied to any genre. In his sets, you can hear techno, house, breakbeat and, of course, ambient. The latest appearance was at the CultKitchen Radio Showcase in Gazgolder club in Moscow. Now it's time to listen to his podcast. for our show. As he said, he recorded this mix with thoughts of cyclicality of everything that surrounds us. You can hear it thanks to the selection. Birth, growth, progress, extinction, death and back to birth again. Everyone can have its own perception. There's a quote that best describes the mood: "Circles on a water surface appear while the rings that appeared a second ago are still alive. The rings are alive when the rings that appeared a second ago disappear. The rings disappear while the new ones appear".

https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. @bvoice and the story of his life in the 22nd episode of the show. Eclectic journey through the jungles of the electronic music in his collection that is being gathered since 1996. Electronic music was his passion since late 80-s when his favorite artists were Brian Eno, Harold Bud, Can, Joy Division, Einstürzende Neubauten et cetera. Bvoice began experimenting with decks in 1996 when the very young Russian techno-scene was still mostly underground. The first gigs and recognition came while he was dj-ing in some of the first places where you could listen to electronic music in Russia. As Bvoice dj skills matured he took the other step in developing his musical talents. So, in 2002 he founded project called Midiots (Dumb Unit, Treibstoff Rec). Native Instruments “Traktor 2” took their track for the demo skills of the program. In 2005 together with Egor “Khz”, Bvoice started the project Bvoice & Khz (Time Has Changed, Dumb Unit, Airdrop etc). Style of their music has a very broad spectrum from contemporary deep-house to basement dub-techno. Later the project Bvoice & Anrilov has started (also with Alex Danilov like B.A.D project). The support of their first EP was pretty huge: Loco Dice, Mandy, Marc Antona and many more. Then the collaboration time has come. Pier Bucci, dOP, Masomenos, Hatikvah etc. Also Bvoice & Anrilov are part of Arma & Foxtrax labels.
https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. @wavecorners is a techno collective based in Moscow, Russia and lead by Vlad B. They play improvised dawless techno and experimental electronics together since 2016. Each of their live sessions is unique, as they always play from scratch, creating music on the spot. They had releases on Industrial Techno United, The Hiddens, Raw Russian, Mosaique Records, Syberian, Russians Did This Record and трип. The recording for the show is called "Our African Wonder". This is the story of collective's trip to Africa recorded before the journey specifically for meditation out in the desert that was then complimented by field recordings from the trip itself.
https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. For the 20th anniversary episode of CultKitchen Radio Show, we invited @dar_key from Kiev techno scene. She's been a vital part of the scene for a couple of years now, playing music both locally and internationally. Daria is both a promoter and a resident of the Materia promo group which regularly organizes techno parties in Kiev. Our Russian listeners might know her well as the resident of @system108 formation. Not limited to one particular style, she is able to select extraordinary tracks from various electronic music genres and put them together to create something new. She is also known under a nickname DAR:K. Daria Kolosova: "My first ever ambient podcast. It's a great experience when you are acquainted with the genre only as the listener and have no limitations or prejudice for music selection. You just do it as you feel it, full freedom of experiments." As for the story behind the mix, let’s just take out a couple of text lines from the first track and let our imagination draw the rest of the picture during the hour. The words are: "What’s your new year’s resolution? Staying out of trouble."
https://cultkitchen.radio – ambient & experimental music 24/7. The restart of the show has to be unique. We are honoured to welcome @umwelt-music for the reopening! As a producer hailing from the underground Rave scene of the 90’s, Umwelt has gone through the ages without ever feeling the need to be under the strobe or following the hype. Author of an important discography including his own Rave Or Die and Newflesh Records labels (@newfleshrecords), his productions play the card of a specific and excessive electro-techno sound. In DJ set, always faithful to the vinyl support to the point of cutting his own copies, or in live behind his machines, UMWELT delivers a fierce, dark and cinematographic music at the crossroads between the classics and an assumed modernity. For us, he recorded a dark cinematic ambient story. He describes this mix as a soundtrack to a movie with different atmospheres during one hour. It includes an extract of the speech of the president of France about the isolation we're experiencing in the world because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The time of publication of this mix reminds us of dystopian stories and movies. We can say, that it is the soundtrack of 2020 that Umwelt recommends listening in the isolated streets with people hiding in their homes most of the time.
Not quite a final episode of the CultKitchen Radio Show and not quite at Megapolis FM is presented by the famous Moscow based DJ and producer @Anrilov. This mix is a projection of the story of a very uncertain time frame lived by the author. The beginning and perhaps the end of which remains unknown. Stay tuned!
The 17th episode of @CultKitchen Radio Show at Megapolis 89'5 FM (Moscow) and our new guest – @lenzyak-yaroslav. His music career started in his hometown of Nova Kakhovka. He was raised on a diet of classic house and techno with music education received in young years which played its role in the production skills. Now, he is actively touring in Ukraine and beyond performing with well-known names of the underground party-world of Europe. Yaroslav is a unique and nicely mad DJ and producer. Thanks to his desire and ability to experiment with sounds, we hear a symbiosis of styles in his works. His tracks and remixes are regularly chosen for many compilations and get the support of famous DJs around the whole world. For CultKitchen, he recorded an ambient podcast in the best traditions of the genre.
Similar to hypnosis or even magic, this podcast was born in the mountains of the Bakhchisaray district, in the gorge of Cerkez Kermen, where @of_naya played 3-hours long set for mountains, wind and land and realized that the music is great for the cult kitchen. You can say that it has the power of nature, that powerfully resonated in the gorge at that moment. Whatever words @of_naya сan use to describe the music she plays, her preference is given to the quiet listening instead of wordy stories. She considers music a part of herself, sounds – separately living units in endless audio flow through fragile needles of vinyl turntables. Photo by Margo Yaleeni https://www.facebook.com/Yaleeni
This podcast unites various musical worlds, whose artists are highly unlikely to ever meet, and the labels that are really not aware of each other's existence. It's not just a story about the strongest human feelings: love, hatred, happiness and despair. It's a life story with respects for people and events, including the first 5 years of Kirill – in Algeria. Kirill Khomko (CultKitchen) Photo by Valeriy Britaus
New names in the new episode of the CultKitchen Radio Show @ Megapolis 89'5 FM - Moscow! @termopara - Konstantin Troitskiy and Nikita Isaev – the Moscow based duo of teachers and musicians united over a year ago to find their own unique sound. With their sets, they like to experiment by mixing genres – melancholic acid electronic and hard industrial techno, deep ambient, folk chants, metal... their mix for CultKitchen reflects the fragility of everything: human luck, human relations and human life.
@clovis is native of Los Angeles, California, and now lives in Berlin, where he is a resident at Club der Visionaere "official" and DJs throughout Europe. We are very glad to have him on our show. Nikita @zabelin tells his story for the @CultKitchen Radio Show in the 12th episode of the podcast. The resident of @arma17, Nikita is a well-known DJ and producer with his powerful techno sets rocking dancefloors around the world. His project Resonance, complemented by the @resonancemsk radio show on Megapolis 89'5 FM - Moscow, is aimed at discovery of music from Russian artists and post-soviet space producers and DJs tracks of which can be found in this podcast. 30.07.2018 @ Megapolis 89.5 FM (Moscow) http://megapolisfm.ru
This episode of Cultkitchen Radio Show came to us from Lyon (France). The passion for electronic music inevitably led @9_beats to buying hardware and going deep into sound design. In his work, he focuses on the exploration of space through music. His own tracks and live performances are filled with deep and mental sounds from ambient to techno, as well as unique experiments with textures and atmospheres. In 2017, he joined the @cosmicwaverecords team. As he said, the musical story for this episode was a good opportunity to show some of the tracks that influenced his music, which he usually does not play at events – the most abstract stuff from his collection. In this recording, he mixed different genres and ages of ambient, searched and created interesting textures that are ideal for a weekend outro. 04.06.2018 @ Megapolis 89.5 FM (Moscow) http://megapolisfm.ru

Not so long ago, guys got released on the Kiev's label called Progressive Future (@user-356440414) and on the Munich based @shaw-cuts. An experimental musical story has been recorded for the CultKitchen Radio Show on Megapolis 89'5 FM (Moscow), full of various non-dance genres and unexpected turns of the plot. 04.06.2018 @ Megapolis 89.5 FM (Moscow) http://megapolisfm.ru
07.05.2018 @ Megapolis 89.5 FM (Moscow) http://megapolisfm.ru Episode 9. @suokas – the project from Petrozavodsk. Sergey released his music on such labels as @gost-zvuk-records (ГОСТ Инструмент), @full-of-nothing, @theuntoldstories, @pro-tez. He was born in Karelia and absorbed the mysticism of the indigenous population. Suokas creates his compositions using a large number of musical instruments: from violin to traditional Karelian. The mix for the @cultkitchen Radio Show @ Megapolis 89'5 FM - Moscow, like the previous ones (Do not Trip, Rudiments, Welcome Straight Vertical Lines) continues the story – a collage / multitrack-mixtape, a certain sound image made with a free use of available instruments.
09.04.2018 @ Megapolis 89.5 FM (Moscow) http://megapolisfm.ru Episode 8 of the Cultkitchen Radio Show is a solo story from Valeriy Britaus, the half of the CultKitchen duo – in his own birthday.
