A Disney World podcast by three Disney-obsessed former Cast Members learning the facts they should already know about the most magical place on Earth!
Since the last episode, we've been granted VIP full access of just about the entire catalogue of Disney content. We dive into this "Disney+" and pick some of the spookiest titles to watch in the holiday spirit. Toon in for our scattered thoughts and notes on chillers like Toy Story of Terror, Halloweentown starring Hollywood's Debbie Reynolds, The Black Cauldron, and Mickey & the original Ghostbusters. We also preview our six part series on Wind in the Willows, realize that Ichabod Crane isn't quite cutting it as a 'Ladies Man' (particularly in 2020), and even do a few roundups, including an impromptu mini roundup to decide "what car would Oogie Boogie drive?" and other hits like "for how much would you sell your childhood stuffed animal?" Burning questions like these answered (not really) and more on this week's episode of the pod!
Almost 1.5 years ago in NYC/Denver, a podcast was born. In a time of emperors and kings, it was an astounding, revolutionary dream—that we, Disney Philharpodcast, should relive the magic and learn facts we should already know. Learn the facts about the Hall of Presidents here with us in an episode where singing Hamilton songs is finally relevant but Laura and Andrew forget the lyrics, we learn a great hidden talent of Andrew's, somehow avoid doing ANY League of their Own jokes and of course...this is one of Alison's FAVORITE attractions. @disphilharpod @disneyphilharpodcast
Aaaaaand we're baaaaack! We've been really lazy but we're just going to call this unplanned, unannounced, unexplained hiatus an "extended Thanksgiving break". In order to ease ourselves back into the 'heavy lifting' we just cranked out a little news and rumors episode for you. Enjoy! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod (tweet, tweet)
Bonjour et bienvenue to Disney Philharpodcast! In this episode we learn facts we should already know about the France Pavilion, one of the opening day World Showcase Pavilions in Epcot. This incredible pavilion has everything: Alison's favorite ________, comfortable chairs and air conditioning, Chanel No. 5, half baguettes, a secret restaurant (shhh), wool sweaters from the 80's, and things with posters! And don't think an episode dedicated to such a beautiful, romantic, perfectly themed space managed to skate by without a mention of The Shaggy Dog starring Tim Allen... @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
Concluding our "no-so-Trip-Report" Trip Report we present to you some more park sounds, even more beef, our thorough first timer reviews of Pandora: World of Avatar, Avatar: Flight of Passage, and Navi River Cruise...er...Journey, and probably the strangest Andy's Roundup we've ever done (which is saying A LOT). And stay tuned while Laura reveals her biggest beef on property! *This Episode brought to you by the Gary Busey School of Acting, Joyride 3, and the condiment bar at Restaurantosaurus. @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
We're back from our trip and somehow managed to fight off the PDD (Post Disney Depression) long enough to record just half of our version of a trip report for you! So please enjoy this first of two parts episode in which we look back at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot days of our trip! Hear Andrew's tips on adding guests to your 6-top Saturday night Sanaa reservations, SO MUCH BEEF WITH RAISINS, a glimpse into Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, and the soothing sounds of the 9,999 Maniacs. Enjoy! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
It's Merry, Not So Scary! or... It's Really Not So Scary! Choose your own lyrics, really! In this Episode...you guessed it...we are talking all about Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party; MNSSHP if you're fancy :) This super fun ticketed event hap---WAIT A MINUTE---we already did that idea! Anyway, here is an update to our first MNSSHP Episode; an addendum, if you will. We also take a good look at the special offerings for the 2017 parties because we are headed to one next week. Also, stay tuned until the end if you want to hear Laura's dissertation on the recurring themes of holiday Hallmark Channel movies. @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
After BEING FORCED to move to Salem, Mass. AGAINST HIS WILL, teenager Max Dennison (total lame-o) explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani (who is so much cooler than her brother) and their new friend, Allison (rich girl with nice YABBOS). After totally embarrassing himself by mocking a story Allison tells, Max, being the virgin and big dummy that he is, accidentally (on purpose) frees a coven of evil witches who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat (Thack Binx) and their new best friend Billy Bones, the kids must steal the witches' skin-wrapped peeping Tom book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal while their parents have the time of their lives partying all night. AND GARRY MARSHALL. Follow along as we talk some fun facts about the movie, learn stuff we should already know, gush about how much we love the film and also make fun of Max a lot. YES ITS A DISNEY MOVIE! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
We're back! A Podcast's Story. Join us for this sort of grab bag episode to hear Laura & Andrew's in-depth review of the Frozen Musical they were lucky enough to catch in Denver for its Broadway preview. We also talk about all the things we are excited to eat at Food & Wine this year as we go through the list of kiosks and menus with our trip coming up in just a few weeks. @disphilharpod @disneyphilharpodcast
This episode is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction...and yes...it calls for the Tower of Terror introduction because we mostly decided (spoiler alert!) one of our favorite queues on property is the Tower of Terror queue. In this episode we just talk queues, no big deal. The good, the bad, the germy, and the sweaty! Because this episode is brought to you by the letter 'Q', we also do a fun quiz game in which we put Laura and Andrew in a lightning round style of Disney Trivia with Price is Right rules and New Years Eve party favors. Note: in usual fashion, we could not resist quoting A League of their Own or mentioning The Shaggy Dog Starring Tim Allen. @disneyphilharpod @disphilharpod
How-to people! We've got backstage passes for you this episode and Sal-we're gonna need a bigger car. This episode is full of Aerosmith tunes, a look into the Mickey Monitor and this year's Food & Wine offerings, the obligatory sidetracks, "hot tips", and roundups bursting at the seams! So, put on those recording studio headphones, grab your black Les Paul, throw up a good shocker, and if traffic's bugging you--step on it!! Andrew has a new segment, guys! @disphilharpod @disneyphilharpodcast
Join us as we learn about the making of and the magic behind this true masterpiece, Bambi. This episode features one mid-level swear word, plenty of tangents, real weird side stories, and a roundup which goes OFF THE RAILS more than one time! Don't expect we got through an episode without mentioning The Shaggy Dog starring Tim Allen. Meet you guys at Blockbuster Video. @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
Welcome to Disney Philharpodcast. We’re now entering one of the real wonders of our world: Space Mountain. Blast off on a high-speed outer space adventure, and careen through the cosmos! There'll be movie quotes and songs, horror stories from working Epcot Strollers, we're talking: ALISON'S FAVORITE RIDE, and even more attempts to hand out individually wrapped Swedish Fish at the end of rides. Also: why doesn't Chips Ahoy already sponsor this attraction?? @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod P.S. If you love Troop Beverly Hills, stick around after we say "Bye" for a tangent we had to cut out :)
Well, not much to say here except: it's a show about nothing! We have a few news stories to discuss and about three roundups (most of which really go WAY off the rails). Basically, if you like Nic Cage, Swedish Fish, you pronounce Mario as "Marry-O", then we think you will really like this episode. Just imagine being dropped in the middle of a bizarre conversation between three weirdos--yes, so, just like any other episode. @disphilharpod @disneyphilharpodcast
Ladies and Gentlemen, come with us to a world of joyous songs and wondrous miracles—Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Our siestas are getting are getting chorter and chorter. But not our episodes...those are getting longer and longer! Come join us for a Touch of Mark, even more attempts at 90's movie quotes, (it's kind of our thing, now) some luxurious plumage, a Grade A Beef with Under New Management and more tiki and bird puns than you might expect. During this episode, our ‘ohana shares laughter, stories, memories of some of our dead pets, Co-Ed Naked Tiki-ing, and we try to remember the words to the junkyard song from The Brave Little Toaster (I was in the Indy 500). And nothing brings out some of our favorite childhood memories like the purple smooze from the My Little Pony movie! So from our ‘ohana to yours, we invite you to enjoy this episode of the Philharpodcast with all our greatest hits: Hacienda Colorado, Almond Joy's Got Nuts, "Like a Dolllllls Eye", and of course we can't forget: "He Ain't Closing ME DOWN!" Aloha! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
Good afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen. Our names are Alison, Laura, and Andrew and on behalf of Exxon, Deepwater Horizon, Pete's O's, and Disney Philharpodcast, we would like to welcome you to the Universe of Energy. Our main show will begin approximately four days late because the airline lost Alison's luggage over the weekend. In this episode, we invite you to enjoy a unique discussion about the many facets of the Universe of Energy, which will be presented in an almost incoherent fashion as we gush over the 100 most beautiful rotating screens you have ever seen, Fern Gully, astronaut diapers, and Ellen's aggressive collared shirt. **For your own safety, we warn you there are multiple drug references in this episode, a crazy person drinking FourLoko, the most bizarre 90's movie references you have ever heard and ask those of you not willing to hear 17 A League of their Own quotes to stand and remain standing throughout the entire pre-show (pretend you are in the Canada circle vision, no leaning!) The laser lights will be dimming and there will be guests continuing to enter the theater who may not see those of you seated on the floor, because, I mean, who doesn't love sitting on the floor in long, dark attractions? At the conclusion of this presentation, you will be questioning what might be wrong with these people and how you have suffered through this nonsense for approximately an hour and fifty-three minutes. Thank you. @disphilharpod @disneyphilharpodcast
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, today we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Disney Philarpodcast. In honor of our past episodes, and in grateful appreciation to those of you who have listened to our show so many times, we proudly dedicate this, our 50th Anniversary Episode, to you as we discuss ALISON'S FAVORITE: The 25th Anniversary Celebration. Today, for the first time in our history, we sing one song nearly 1000 times and will spend a long time talking about the live action 101 Dalmatians starring Glenn Close, looking up new words on Urban Dictionary, saying Balzac, like, A LOT, and maybe even a quick drop-by from Marge! Now come with us, ladies and gentleman, and Remember the Magic. Come meet the girl who is the Trap Queen, the boy from Long Island who was awarded the Presidential Medal in gym class, and the larger-than-life demon with abs of steel. Come celebrate again, all the wonder and joy, the laughter and delight, that is so much a part of our tradition, here at Disney Philharpodcast. Come with us!
Ladies and gentlemen! We will now present for your entertainment the most stupendous, magnificent, super-colossal spectacle! On this tiny, little, insignificant podcast, we will construct for you an episode about Alison's favorite Disney movie! Not of wood, not of stone, but of facts we should already know, of D23 announcements, of singing and It's Always Sunny jokes! A pyramid of ponderous, pulsating, pulchritudinous Disney-obsessed former cast members! I give you Disney Philharpodcast! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to our Mexico Pavilion episode which includes all of Disney Philharpodcast's greatest hits: this is Alison's favorite pavilion in World Showcase, Mouth Sounds tries out some new homemade instruments, Laura sings, and naturally, we learn a whole lot of things we should already know. * Please excuse our poor pronunciation of any and all Spanish words--despite the fact there are close to 30 years of Spanish classes between us! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
Welcome to the splendor, the spectacle, the sparkling sensation, the completely insane, Disney Philharpodcast, where the comedy and thrill of Disney fantasies come to electric life featuring Steve Winwood, Pete's couture line of overalls (O's), misheard lyrics, nitrous oxide, and don't forget Mouth Sounds. And now, the Magic Kingdom proudly presents, in a million points of musical light, the magic worlds of Disney...in SpectroMagic! (Please read all of this in the distinguished, soulful voice of the most legendary emcee to ever emcee: Jiminy Cricket.) @disphilharpod @disneyphilharpodcast
Step through the gate of the Disney-MGM Philharpodcast Studios and enter a working movie and podcast Production Center. Your stay will include an in-depth look at live action movies and television, a lengthy discussion on the career choices of Gary Sinise & Tom Hanks, a poppin' off rendition of songs from the full length animated feature, Anastasia, and a unique opportunity to visit Disney animators working on their newest featurettes just before they inject all of them into Epcot. Please Note: This 2-hour guided tour (yes, 2 hour tourrrrrrr) involves an hour of walking and listening to crazy people ramble, make bad jokes and bizarre movie references. Restroom facilities are available at the shuttle station before you embark on your journey and at the start of your walking tour. @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
Of all the gleaming planets in our vast universe, it is only here on Earth that Laura and Andrew and Alison harmoniously unite to create Disney Philharpodcast. We most graciously welcome you to a timeless celebration of water and light and all of the other Captain Planet elements with roots as far reaching as water curtains are high! Here, where the forces of large barges meet in harmony, the spirits of the river horses and donkeys are free to pop 'n lock together in the night sky creating Rivers of Light. We are united in this special place to celebrate the magnificence and wonder of all living creatures, (including advertising executive amphibians) for in life we are all one. But I'm just a little, old lotus flower...don't mind me. @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
Howdy folks! Welcome to the one and only, original, Disney Philharpodcast — featuring a bit of super-fun facts, history of the classic attraction, requisite Beach Boys tribute, way too many Silence of the Lambs references, and an in-depth review of the 2002 feature film based on this attraction. And right now, I give you a sordid assortment of executioners of music and song. Mouth Sounds… Hit it boys! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
We turned one of Andrew's goofy mix-ups into a whole episode! So, on this show, we decided to dive real deep into the life of the oldest Disney character there is: Pete. Such a deep dive, in fact, we go all the way back to Atilla the Hun on this one. Follow the long history of a career criminal and the arch-nemesis of Mickey Mouse; the black cat, the peg-legged, slippery sneak, the con-man, the myth, the legend: Pete. @disphilharpod @disneyphilharpodcast
Fresh off a trip to our homeland, we come bearing gifts! After braving the 95% humidity in a good ole fashioned tent at Fort Wilderness, tasting from EVERY kiosk and pavilion in the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival, and attempting the near-impossible Flash Challenge of hitting every Magic Kingdom attraction in one day, you can imagine we have a lot to share! So please enjoy these audio clips along with our commentary and look out for tons of GoPro videos courtesy of Andrew and Laura who have promised to upload some of their gems to share with everyone (they have to do it now! buahahaha!) @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
Not much to say about a show about nothing! What's the deal with airplane food? But this episode is not really about "nothing", its about Disney World! And its about current news and rumors and its about our upcoming trip! So much to say really...so come hang with us for an hour (and a half...sorry, we needed more time to talk about nothing). Enjoy! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
Good evening. On behalf of Disney Philharpodcast — the podcast where dreams come true — we welcome all of you to Epcot, and World Showcase. We’re gathered here tonight, around the USB microphones — as people of all podcasts have gathered for thousands and thousands of episodes before us — to relive the magic, and to learn facts we should already know. An amazing story as old as time itself, but still includes way too many Will Smith songs. And though each of us has our own individual stories to tell about our favorite past viewings experiences, a true adventure emerges when we bring them all together as one and attempt to answer Andy's Roundup question. We hope you enjoy our story tonight: Reflections of Earth, Motion Nightclub, and Global Guts...let's go to Mo! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod Note: I meant to say commodore, not commander (in the beginning)...anyone watching The Handmaid's Tale?? yikes.
This episode is just about as crazy as the idea to erect a 122 foot hat in the center of an otherwise perfectly themed Hollywood Studio set in the 1930's. But we thought the best (and most fun) way to do an episode about the Sorcerer's Hat was to have a good old fashioned debate about it and have each side present (1) the reasons why it sucked and (2) a few reasons why maybe it was great! So please join us as Laura and Alison go head to head in a ridiculously fun debate (dis)organized by a "neutral" moderator! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
It's a pod of laughter, a pod of tears It's a pod of jokes and a pod of beers There's so much facts we share, that it's time you prepare It's Phil-har-pod after all There is just Laura and an Alison And Andrew brings laughter to everyone The Rocky Mountains be wide and Manhattan's West Side It's Phil-har-pod after all!! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod Search and ye shall find! Warning: this episode contains bad jokes and singing!
Welcome to the Happiest Podcast on Earth! Well, maybe not, but we are very happy to present this week's episode: The Happiest Celebration on Earth! A worldwide celebration, though of course we focus on the WDW events, to celebrate the anniversary of Disneyland, the Happiest Celebration on Earth brought some great things, some not-so-great things, and A LOT OF GOLD to WDW. Join us as we learn all about this 18 month event, look back on Laura & Andrew's college program (they were there!), and wonder why there have been no recent castle adornments to rival the grand, gold MIRROR! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod Correction Section: (Already?!) Club 33 is way more expensive and exclusive than I describe, if you can imagine...that's all you need to know (hahah).
Welcome to Episode 36: Fantasmic! Tonight, our podcast hosts, Laura, Alison, and Andrew, use their vivid imagination to create magical imagery for all to enjoy. Nothing is more wonderful than the imagination—for in a moment, you can hear all about Wingspans or an exciting adventure where you discover your family does "the Wave"! But beware… nothing is more powerful than the imagination—for it can also expand your greatest fears of MaxiPads performing an interpretive dance into an overwhelming nightmare of a Malefisaur wearing a disco jacket. Are the powers of Alison & Laura's incredible imagination strong enough to actually remember something from their past and bright enough to withstand the forces of Andy's Roundup? You are about to find out. For we now invite you to join us and experience Episode 36: Fantasmic!—a journey beyond your wildest imagination with the Beast doing rhythmic gymnastics, witchcraft, human sardines, and a DANGEROUSLY shallow moat. Some imagination, huh?! @disphilharpod @disneyphilharpodcast for all the things!
Hamjambo Everyone! And thank you for joining us for the next two weeks on this exciting podcast adventure packed with facts about the wild wildlife safari attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom-wait--I mean, at the Harambe Wildlife Reserve in East Africa. We're getting to the bottom of those ostrich eggs, the REAL relatives of the Okapi and even digging up the old story of Big and Little Red (the Reds). Oh.............and Wilson. (eye-roll emoji) What a duo we have here on this one, #blessed, It's Rhode...and Mike! Andy's Roundup gets pretty wild (roar) as we design our own safaris and also go off on a ton of tangents. But mostly, Laura just talks about her lifelong dream of an Alpaca cuddle party. @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod search and ye shall find! Kwaherini!
Put on your Sunday clothes and join us as we walk right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. by way of Marceline, MO, Fort Collins, CO and...oh yeah, Yonkers. Hitch a ride on the horse-less carriage or the horse-drawn trolley and learn some fun facts about this area of Magic Kingdom. Learn about exciting details like: why some street lamps are gas powered, and, why Minnie and Roy are holding hands in the Roy statue. So take the train with the Mayor to the ice cream shop and join us as we learn the facts we should already know about this special creation; a true work of art inspired by Walt Disney, himself. @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod
Just make believe, you're a tiny little seed, and I'm a tiny lil podcast reaching up to meet your need! Well, this is true only if "your need" is: to know more about The Land pavilion! In this episode we learn some pretty exciting facts about the original concepts for The Land and also discover the ugly effects corporate sponsorship can have on some pretty innovate ideas--ideas prettier than Bonnie Appétit herself! We discuss the three attractions developed for The Land: Living with the Land, Kitchen Kabaret, and Symbiosis and all of their successors...thanks a lot Nestle!!!! And don't forget The Peach Boys! So, let's listen to the land we all love AND the podcast we all love and learn facts we should already know about The Land pavilion presented by Kraft...er...Nestle...er Subway?? Follow us on social media! @disphilharpod (for twitter & snapchat) @disneyphilharpodcast (for everything else!)
This week on Disney Philharpodcast's Adventures in Wonderland...everything is nonsense! Join us as we share fun facts, relive the memories of this great film and basically recite the entire script. But this is a very special episode for us because Alice in Wonderland is Laura's favorite movie! And this is not a trick to get you to stick around to for the entire thing, but: Laura has so many facts to share, she even squeezes a gem in at the very end. So grab yourself a half a cup of tea (diet peach Snapple?), some MUSTARD, roast turkey (goodness!) and fill up the hooka because: you're late! you're late! for a very important philharpodcast date! twitter/snapchat: @disphilharpod FB/instagram/untappd: @disneyphilharpodcast coming soon: find us on brew'd ;)

This week on Andy's Roundup: Wait a minute...who poisoned the water hole and what's so great about it? Grab all the earrings you can find, put on your Bug Eyes and join us this week on the pod! @disneyphilharpodcast @disphilharpod (twitter/snapchat) Learn more about our delicious beer selections on Untapp'd!
Kids, come journey back in time with us way back before 2011 when the Magic Kingdom was actually the home of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Donald's Boat. What started as a 60th birthday celebration for our main mouse, Mickey, evolved over time becoming Mickey's Starland, briefly Mickey's ToyLand, and ultimately Mickey's Toontown Fair! Let's learn facts we should already know about past attractions, a totally 90's stage show, and more Baby Herman and Stepbrothers references you could possibly imagine would happen in this episode. So, when I say go, you say: "Hey, D.U.D.E! What's Happening??" Please note: BALZAC no longer available in the parks. Ughhhhhhhhhhhh, they get rid of the best things!!!! twitter/snapchat: @disphilharpod facebook/insta/untappd: @disneyphilharpodcast
Hooray for Hollywood! From the old west (new joisey?) to the rooftops of London, and along the Yellow Brick Road, there really is no podcast like Disney Philharpodcast! Just believe, just belieeeeeeeeve! Starlight, staaaar bright, first star I see tonight! I wish we had a podcast filled with fun facts and games devoted to Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. Well, we planned this Episode topic last week, only to be hit by a Mack truck sized news story from Disney Parks Blog in which they announced Wishes will come to an end this year on May 11, 2017. This, we think, is perfect timing to pay tribute to one of our favorite shows ever in Walt Disney World. Should we say the SGOAT? Trust your heart and join us for this podcast spectacular; but hey, I'm just a cricket, what do I know? instagram/facebook: @disneyphilharpodcast twitter/snapchat: @disphilharpod Also follow our themed beer segment and adventures on Untapp'd @disneyphilharpodcast

Have you noticed, in WDW, you're actually surrounded by robots?? Well, in Disney World, they're affectionately known as "Audio Animatronics", and they have been responsible for entertaining park visitors every day since the opening of Disneyland in 1955. There are so many AA's in WDW, in fact, it would be easier to list the attractions which do NOT contain one of these talking/singing/dancing/joke-telling little characters. So join us as we get down to the wires of these little (and some very big) robots. Laura will discuss the history and inner-workings of AA's and Alison reminds everyone of some of the most memorable AA's around WDW. Also, during this episode, we host the 1st Annual Disney Philharpoddies, a very special award presentation for some very special robots. twitter/snapchat: @disphilharpod instagram/FB: @disneyphilharpodcast
It's time to play the music, it's time to light the lights! It's time to meet the Muppets on Volume 1 of our Muppets Series tonight! Please enjoy this first installment of what we hope to make a multi-volume tribute to the bears and dogs and chickens and things we know and love as Jim Henson's Muppets. Now owned by Disney and with an increasing presence in WDW, we are happy we can use this podcast as an outlet to share our Muppet love with all of you! In this episode, Laura gives a history of Jim Henson's career and creation of the Muppets and recounts their eventual acquisition by Disney. Alison describes some WDW attractions in which you can currently find the Muppets, as well as some shows from the past and even some things from the "never-was". *Please be advised this episode contains heavy Muppet impressions which may not be pleasing to people with ears. twitter/snapchat: @disphilharpod instagram/facebook: @disneyphilharpodcast
Journey back to the late Cretaceous/Crustaceous period with us and hope we get out just in time for the giant asteroid impact that destroyed most lifeforms on Earth. What's that? You thought we were going to the early Cretaceous Period? Wrong. Dr. Seeker has unlocked those coordinates and put your life on the line to fulfill some strange personal mission which may or may not involve a denim button down shirt and a very big tie. Trust me, what could go wrong? Happy 2017, Everybody! twitter/snapchat: disphilharpod fb/instagram: disneyphilharpodcast

In this episode Alison and Laura proudly present a whole episode-full of mini audio snippets, interviews and live in-park entertainment which we brought back directly from WDW all for you! Please enjoy! FB/instagram: disneyphilharpodcast twitter/snapchat: disphilharpod
In this Episode we share history and stories of one of the greatest shows ever presented at Walt Disney World. The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights, later The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights holds a special place in our memories and likewise in the memories of probably anyone who ever saw them! Laura tells the tale of Jennings Osborne from Little Rock, Arkansas who was on a simple quest to spend more time with his family. Alison reminds everyone of some of the details found around the attraction and Andy's Roundup leaves us to solve the age-old problem: where else could Disney have put this attraction rather than just canceling it altogether? instagram/facebook: DisneyPhilharpodcast twitter/snapchat: disphilharpod *We will be off next week and no episode will be released on 12/10/16 because we will be in WDW! Follow us for some surprise hello's from our trip. See ya real soon!
Fire up those time machines, everyone! Don't worry, we'll have you back before your dad finds out you borrowed it. A little twist on the classic trip report here, DisneyPhilharpodcast proudly presents a throwback Trip Report! No bowler hat guy in sight! Alison gives her trip report from a May 2007 WDW Trip and believe it or not, has enough details to describe it as if it were just yesterday! Andy's Roundup is magically transformed into Andy's Conversational Piece and we aaaaaaalmost managed to get through the whole episode without a mere mention of the dreaded Tomorrowland cabanas...but were unsuccessful. insta/FB: @disneyphilharpodcast tweets/snaps: @disphilharpod See ya real soon!
Aloha! Hey, so remember that time when Stitch took over everything?! Yes, that's right, Experiment 626, otherwise known as our beloved Stitch, maintained quite a presence in the Disney Universe for most of the 2000's with four movies, a tv show, his own attraction in the Magic Kingdom and some...moments which were, shall we say, not exactly exemplary of a model citizen. Badness level was high!!! So grab yourself some coffee and desserts (more desserts!)and join us as we chat about...well...that time Stitch took over everything! Howdy, y'all! In this episode we are alllllll about Fort Wilderness lyfe. As campers in our non-Disney lives, and members of an elite 80's Fort Wilderness Secret Society, we have a special place in our hearts for this "off the beaten path" resort. Laura and Alison describe their fond memories for camping here as little kids roughin' it with Chip 'n Dale and even a little Andrew hung out here hittin' up the Hoop Dee Do Revue as a youngin'. Remember the Melvin the Moose breakfast? Well Alison informs Laura they have never actually been to the HDD Revue and have been LIVING A LIE THIS WHOLE TIME. Guess what? We've got TWO Roundups in this Episode, though the management over at Andy's Roundup has sent multiple cease and desist letters. tweets&snaps: @disphilharpod FB&Insta: @disneyphilharpodcast
