We return from the New York trip to floods and devastation very close to us. We Bring Dozer Dan on in the first part of the episode to talk about the destructiojn he witnessed first-hand. We also show some maps of the watersheds so people can understand a bit more about how this happened and why. After that we discuss the New York event and the trip to Boston. Many ancient Egyptian artifacts were scanned in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and we had a great time with the attendees of the "Evening at the Explorer's Club" event. We finish by discussing where our minds are at regarding ancient mysteries - there are plenty of mysteries still to explore! We're taking you along on a whirlwind couple of days at Walt Disney World—complete with friends, food, drinks, and a few unexpected twists (including a surprise snake sighting near the Skyliner… yep, that happened). We kicked things off with snacks and sips at Bar Riva to see some Cast Member friends alongside our good friends Lucie and Caleb, and the fun just kept rolling from there. We did a little shopping in Pandora (yes, we bought rings), used an Individual Lightning Lane for Cosmic Rewind, and bounced around resorts chasing dinner plans from California Grill to Steakhouse 71 to Three Bridges—where we finally found our perfect Plan C, great food, and some awesome cast member interactions. We also squeezed in some magic at Magic Kingdom to ride Haunted Mansion, placed a special hat embroidery order, and spent a rainy afternoon at Disney Springs catching up, indulging in Salt & Straw, and hiding out at Jock Lindsey's. The trip wrapped up with poolside snacks at Siestas, an evening at Dahlia Lounge, and a final stop at Jeff's Bagels on the way home—because you know we weren't leaving without breakfast handled. It was a trip full of laughs, detours, and Disney magic, and we can't wait to share it with you.MEI-Travel – Expertise. Garrett and Haley have returned to the show after a trip that involved about 15 days in a row in at least one Disney park! The first week of this trip was a chance for them to test the waters of what it might be like to move to Orlando with a rental house and car, working remotely, and doing everyday things. The second week was a stay at Disney's Riviera resort. Because this trip was for Garrett's birthday, there were so many good meals and even a Savor the Savanna Tour that they enjoyed. What a trip! Universal After Dark - A Universal Orlando and Halloween Horror Nights Podcast
Tracey Mallaby, UUOP, and a Theme Park FriendshipI first came across Tracey Mallaby back in 2011, through a little podcast that's since become a staple in the Universal Orlando fan community — the Unofficial Universal Orlando Podcast (UUOP). What started as a passionate fan project has grown into one of the longest-running, most respected podcasts covering Universal parks, and Tracey's been at the heart of it since day one.If you've listened to the show, you'll know Tracey brings a mix of warmth, humour, and a genuine love for the parks — not to mention her unfiltered honesty when it comes to food reviews, ride opinions, or the state of the Horror Nights houses. She's never pretended to be anything but herself, and that's what makes her such a great voice in the fan community. Our personal friendship has had its share of ups and downs — all my fault — but it's also endured longer than I ever expected when I first tuned into a podcast from a group of Brits chatting about Spider-Man rides and Butterbeer. Tracey's loyalty, kindness, and fierce sense of fun have always shone through, and I'll always respect the time, effort, and passion she's poured into UUOP.Here's to Tracey, to friendships that keep finding their way back, and to many more years of theme park chats, in-jokes, and maybe even a few disagreements — because let's be honest, she's always right anyway.

Luke Koppa, Kristin Sinnott, and Jonathan Ellsworth discuss what they've been getting up to lately, and the gear they've been using to do so. Luke recaps his first trip to Palisades Tahoe, being there during Level 1's mind-blowing SuperUnknown event, finally experiencing the iconic Wildflour Bakery, and some of the skis that stood out throughout the week. Kristin covers her recent trip down to the tropics, and Jonathan goes over some of the touring skis, boots, and bindings he's been liking. We also dive into ski socks, the particular socks each of us used most this season, some new midlayers we've all been testing, and more.RELATED LINKS:Get Yourself Covered: BLISTER+TOPICS & TIMES:Luke's Trip Report (3:57)Kristin's Trip Report (11:22)Jonathan's Trip Report (12:58)Volkl Revolt 101 vs. Fischer Ranger 102 FR (14:52)Salomon QST Echo 106 (18:11)Salomon MTN 96 & MTN Pure Binding (23:01)ON3P Jeffrey & Mango Skis (28:49)Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130 BOA (33:09)Our Favorite Ski Socks This Year (36:19)Patagonia Nano-Air Ultralight & Freeride (47:28)Kristin's Promise to Jonathan (1:04:36)CHECK OUT OUR OTHER PODCASTS:Blister CinematicCRAFTEDBikes & Big IdeasBlister Podcast Hosted on Acast.
