News: More and more keeps being announced for the 70th Anniversary of Disneyland. A new light, sound, and projection moment will be coming to Carthay Circle and Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure. The moment will be set to the tune “Celebrate Happy,” the theme song for the anniversary. – https://disneyparksblog.com/dlr/guide-to-the-70th-anniversary-at-disneyland-resort/ We have some new details about the Walt Disney animatronic experience coming to the Opera House in July. Various media outlets were invited to the Imagineering campus to see the life-sized concept sculpt, and to learn more about the show. Walt's voice in the show will be his own, with clips of his actual voice were painstakingly assembled from interviews. The animatronic itself is very lifelike. The posture, facial structure, and skin texture are “uncanny” according to MiceChat. – https://www.micechat.com/414430-disneyland-walt-disney-a-magical-life-revealed/ Another character from the Marvel Universe will be dropping by Avengers Campus for a limited time. Red Guardian, who first appeared in Black Widow, and is featured in the new movie Thunderbolts, will be meeting and greeting with guests. You can be sure to find him by checking the Disneyland App. – https://disneyparksblog.com/dlr/meet-the-super-amazing-red-guardian-at-avengers-campus/ If you are going to be in Avengers Campus heading into Cars Land, or the other way around in the near future, be aware that the path between the two by Luigi's is closed. This has been done for construction of a new restroom facility to compliment the new additions to Avengers Campus currently under construction. – https://www.micechat.com/414422-disneyland-news-70th-anniversary-improvements-red-guardian-appearance-store-changes/ May the 4th was this weekend and the Disney Parks Blog shared a recipe from A Galaxy Far, Far Away. The Felucian Falafel and Hummus Garden Spread from Docking Bay 7 may take some planning – with one step taking from 12-18 hours – but is sure to be a tasty treat! – https://disneyparksblog.com/disney-experiences/disney-eats-exclusive-plant-based-star-wars-day-recipe/ Later this month, a fun team will be visiting the parks. The Savannah Bananas, a baseball team similar to the Harlem Globetrotters, will be at Disneyland on May 28, 2025. Special entertainment moments, and themed food and beverages will be on hand to celebrate. – https://disneyparksblog.com/disney-experiences/savannah-bananas-disneyland-may-28/ On Monday, May 5, there was a Heroes Salute Cavalcade to honor the first responders of the fires back in January. The Heroes ticket also kicked off to coincide with the cavalcade. – https://www.micechat.com/414422-disneyland-news-70th-anniversary-improvements-red-guardian-appearance-store-changes/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHGVwxv9H1E A rather abrupt change has come to New Orleans Square. The Port Royal Curios and Curiosities shop, right next to the Royal Street Veranda, has been changed into a seating area for diners. Since the shop duplicated the merchandise which can be found at Madame Leota's “Somewhere Beyond” shop, the old location was not needed. The decor was not updated much, except to turn it into a jazzy looking speakeasy. Tables and chairs are scattered about for guests to get out of the heat and find a place to eat. – https://www.micechat.com/414422-disneyland-news-70th-anniversary-improvements-red-guardian-appearance-store-changes/ At the Emporium on Main Street, there are a set of windows that are decorated with animated scenes from Disney classics. Some of them have been in rough shape in recent times, but they are currently being refurbished for the 70th. No word on when they will be completed, but work is underway. – https://www.micechat.com/414422-disneyland-news-70th-anniversary-improvements-red-guardian-appearance-store-changes/ SnackChat: 70th Foodie Guide – Disney Eats: Disneyland 70th Celebration Foodie Guide – Disney Parks Blog Discussion Topic: Freelance artist Jerrod Maruyama https://www.instagram.com/jmaruyama/

News: An iconic part of Disneyland history – and Disney in general will be getting refurbished soon. Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room closed this week to perform routine maintenance on the lighting, sound, and show. The mighty tree of Tangaroa will be recreated from a high resolution digital scan. The current Tangaroa is no longer able to be repaired, having been there since the attraction opening in 1963. The attraction will reopen later this summer. – https://www.laughingplace.com/disney-parks/tangaroa-tree-be-rebuilt-during-upcoming-refurbishment-walt-disneys-enchanted-tiki-room-disneyland/ https://www.micechat.com/146135-rolly-crump-impostor-syndrome-part-2/ Tour dates are open for the new guided tour coming to Disneyland for the 70th anniversary. A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour is a 2-hour guided walking tour, which includes a ride aboard the Mark Twain, Disneyland Railroad, a Lightning Lane for a select attraction, reserved viewing for Paint the Night, which includes popcorn, and a tour keepsake. The price is $120 per guest. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance and are highly recommended. Check out the link in the show notes to reserve your tour! – https://www.micechat.com/413960-disneyland-news-portos-permits-construction-walls-star-wars/ https://disneyland.disney.go.com/en-ca/events-tours/disneyland/story-of-celebration-tour/ A character not often seen at the resorts made a visit for Earth Day. WALL-E was in the lobby of the Pixar Place Hotel roaming around and greeting guests. He also opened up his storage compartment to share the plant, potted in the boot, just like in the movie! – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2025/04/24/dear-disney-we-are-begging-for-this-rare-character-meet-and-greet-to-become-permanent/ As we reported on previously, some permits have been filed with the Anaheim Planning and Building Department in relation to Porto's coming to Downtown Disney. We talked about removing the two ticket booths from the esplanade, but did not mention the permit to tear down the existing building – currently home to Earl of Sandwich. No timeline on the permits, but this is forward progress. – https://www.micechat.com/413960-disneyland-news-portos-permits-construction-walls-star-wars/ Once again, Disneyland Cast Members were invited to create upcycled art projects to be shown off to guests for Earth Month. This time, the creations, ranging from a Haunted Mansion created from cardboard pizza boxes, to Maleficent in dragon form made from plastic cutlery. The display is under the Silly Symphony Swings for guests to enjoy. – https://www.micechat.com/413960-disneyland-news-portos-permits-construction-walls-star-wars/ This week, the Disney Parks Blog recognized a cast member who brings joy to countless (or not so countless) guests. Antonio has been working at the Disneyland Resort for 18 years, and has received over 735 cast compliments from guests. Antonio works at Pixar Pier attractions and before Disneyland, worked for nearly 10 years in hospitality in Dubai and Qatar. Antonio's rise to fame is in part due to his exuberant energy and fun dance moves for guests! – https://disneyparksblog.com/dlr/dancing-disneyland-resort-cast-member-inspires-happiness/ Last week, we talked about recycling your food scraps at Disneyland. Since then, little droids have appeared on top of food scraps containers to remind guests that only food scraps should be deposited in the bin they are standing on. – https://www.micechat.com/413960-disneyland-news-portos-permits-construction-walls-star-wars/ A new way to checkout at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta has arrived. A kiosk for guest self-checkout has been installed. The system scans the items on the tray, adds it up, and asks for payment. Currently, Magic Key discounts must involve a cast member, and payment can only be made with credit or debit card. – https://www.micechat.com/413960-disneyland-news-portos-permits-construction-walls-star-wars/ Weeklyteers who may be in the parks starting May 9th should know that it is Grad Nite season at the resort again, and park hours may be impacted. This year, there is some new, more generic graduation merchandise available for purchase. – https://www.micechat.com/413960-disneyland-news-portos-permits-construction-walls-star-wars/ SnackChat: New food items coming to the resort – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2025/04/24/disney-just-announced-23-new-treats-are-coming-next-week/#more-1028273 Discussion Topic: Michael Holland host of From Out of the Past Podcast https://www.instagram.com/fromoutofthepastpodcast https://linktr.ee/hollandimaginarium https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK7GRiUhhB8 https://www.youtube.com/@AlextheHistorian

News: This weekend at South by Southwest, Disney had a panel called “The Future of World-Building at Disney” which gave us a ton of information about upcoming theme park attractions. One of these was the updated experience coming next year to Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run. The new adventure will feature the Mandalorian and Grogu, better known as “the child” from the hit Disney+ series. This new experience will take guests to new locations for the attraction, like Cloud City, Tatooine, and the Death Star wreckage. The update will coincide with the premiere of “The Mandalorian and Grogu” movie on May 22, 2026. – https://disneyparksblog.com/disney-experiences/sxsw-2025-new-missions-smugglers-run-mandalorian/ https://www.micechat.com/410722-disney-parks-announcements-from-swsx-avengers-star-wars-a-tomorrowland-tease/ Also at South by Southwest, Disney gave new details on the Avengers Campus updates at Disneyland. The large e-ticket Avengers Infinity Defense didn't get much new information, but the Stark Flight Lab did! Robert Downey Jr., who plays Tony Stark and Iron Man, was present to talk about the upcoming attraction. The attraction will have guests in “gyro-kinetic pods” that will roll on a track before being attached to a giant robotic arm and taken through some high-speed maneuvers. In the latest episode, they talk about the updates we just mentioned, as well as talk with legendary Imagineer Bob Gurr. The episode covers all kinds of ride vehicles from past, present, and into the future. There is even a great behind the curtain look at the underbelly of the Omnimover system at the Haunted Mansion! If you want to take a look at this, check out the link in the show notes. – https://youtu.be/IuQPrGLo0QM?si=Dt9qzvh4bD5xCSUZ Also at the SXSW conference, it was announced that characters from the upcoming Fantastic Four movie will be coming to Tomorrowland. This includes H.E.R.B.I.E. – the flying robot from the upcoming movie. No firm date on when they will land in Tomorrowland, but it is likely around the premiere of the movie on July 25, 2025. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2025/03/08/disney-announces-new-additions-coming-soon-to-tomorrowland/ https://www.micechat.com/410722-disney-parks-announcements-from-swsx-avengers-star-wars-a-tomorrowland-tease/ The Disney Parks Blog posted a Guide to the 70th Anniversary at the Disneyland Resort, with some new details for the celebration. It will feature the “Celebrate Happy” theme song, along with nods to other Disneyland tunes. In addition to Paint the Night, which will perform in the evening, “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” will appear along the parade route during the day. This new cavalcade will feature characters not often seen at Disneyland like Duffy and ShellieMay. – https://disneyparksblog.com/dlr/guide-to-the-70th-anniversary-at-disneyland-resort/ Along with the projection show on “it's a small world,” the attraction will get some new characters! This new verse will debut in the attraction starting July 17th. If you want to hear Richard tell you all about it, you can watch “The Last Verse,” a short film we have linked in the show notes. News: Over at MiceChat, Dusty Sage was able to have a conversation with higher-up associated with Tiana's Bayou Adventure where he expressed his dismay at the focus on the search for a missing ingredient. If Dusty is right, there is a lot more going on with this attraction. Per his conversation, it is a sort of fake out for guests concealing the fact that they are doing a lot more with this attraction than has been announced. Massive set pieces are being installed to make this much more grand than the attraction that it is replacing. In the video, music from the new show and concept artwork and testing for the new show we previewed. https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2022/12/disneyland-resort-reveals-new-details-for-wondrous-journeys-coming-to-disneyland-park-beginning-jan-27/ In the early morning hours of December 29th, a small fire broke out at the New Orleans Square Station. The fire was contained to the small building on the far right of the station, across the tracks from where guests queue up to board. The water tower next to the building involved does not appear to have been damaged. The train opened with the rest of the park that morning, with scrims already up masking the damage from guests. No word on the cause of the fire yet. https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/12/29/small-fire-confirmed-by-cast-members-at-disneyland-resort/#more-759349 With Lunar New Year just around the corner, Disney has announced the food marketplaces that will be available this year. Returning are Lucky 9 Lantern, Prosperity Bao & Buns, Red Dragon Spice Traders, and Longevity Noodle Co. New this year are Bamboo Blessings, and Wrapped with Love. The booths will serve a variety of Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese foods. Returning for the event is the Sip and Savor Pass. Lunar New Year kicks off on January 20th and runs through February 15th. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/dining/disney-california-adventure/lunar-new-year-food-marketplaces/ Since the introduction of the Genie+ service, it has been pretty much available to everyone. The service sold out for three days in a row between Christmas and New Year's Eve. The service was even at a higher price point for those days when it sold out. Guests were not completely out of luck, the individual Lightning Lane reservations for Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers were still available. If you are planning on going to Disneyland during a busy time of year, make sure to purchase Genie+ early in the day to avoid missing it if it sells out. https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/12/28/genie-sells-out-in-disneyland/#more-758995 This year will bring some new perks to the Magic Key program at Disneyland. New items are coming to the Magic Key Terrace, like Barbeque Short Rib Sliders, and a Mint Julep Cocktail. Key Holders who purchase the Disney100 popcorn bucket will get refills for just $1.50 each through February 12th. A new Disney100 print will be available for pickup, and booking Walt's Main Street Story guided tour between January 9th and January 26th will receive a commemorative button. A Magic Key exclusive Pandora charm will also be available, in addition to new PhotoPass Magic Shots between January 9th and January 19th. https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/12/28/new-perks-announced-for-disneyland-magic-key-holders/#more-758886 At long last, the Indiana Jones Adventure will be getting the TLC it deserves and has sorely needed for quite some time now. A new animatronic snake was spotted by various online sources, which we spotted ourselves when riding the monorail on our December trip. This means that at the very least, we will have a fixed snake in the attraction. Currently, the refurbishment is scheduled to last from January 9th to "Spring, 2023." This is quite the length of time and is a good sign that things will be much better when it returns! https://www.micechat.com/342798-disneyland-update-and-the-verdict-is/ There are some changes coming to a couple of popular stores in Downtown Disney. Wonderground Gallery and the Disney Home store are closing on January 9th and will return with some changes. The rumor for the Wonderground Gallery is that it will be moving to the old ESPN building, which will give it a lot more space and finally do something with the empty building. The Disney Home store then may expand into the Wonderground Gallery space next door. During the closure, much of the merchandise from these stores will be available at other Downtown Disney locations. https://www.micechat.com/343186-disneyland-news-wonderground-gallery-disney-home-set-for-transformation/ New Years Eve at Disneyland was a wet one, but that didn't keep guests away. Disneyland setup some temporary barriers to keep walkways open and separate from fireworks viewing, directional signage to help guests get around in the crowds, and more. For those of you who watched the entertainment on TV through Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve with Ryan Seacrest, you would think that the park was dry and full of famous performers. This was not the case since most of these were pre-recorded. The rain did make for a great light show at midnight to ring in the new year. Other than attraction wait times being very long because of Genie+ reservations, the park was a pretty great place to be. https://www.micechat.com/343222-disneyland-update-dont-let-the-door-hit-you-on-the-way-out/ The Magic Shop on Main Street has been run by Houdini Magic since 2009 but was recently purchased by Vanishing Inc. The new owners are looking to make some changes to the Magic Shop, which current employees of the location are optimistic about. When completed, the store should be more impressive inside and out. https://www.micechat.com/343222-disneyland-update-dont-let-the-door-hit-you-on-the-way-out/ Shortly after the Lunar New Year Celebration wraps up, the Food & Wine Festival will be moving in on March 3rd. No new food booths have been announced this year, but all the booths from last year's celebration should be returning. Just like with the Lunar New Year Celebration, the Sip and Savor Pass will be for sale, offering 8 tabs that can be used at any of the 12 booths. https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/12/29/food-booths-announced-for-2023-food-and-wine-festival-in-disney-california-adventure/ During Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, a short preview was shown of World of Color - ONE coming to Disney California Adventure on January 27th. Encanto, Soul, Mulan, and Pocahontas scenes were shown in the short promo for the celebration. At the very end, there was even a Star Wars section which will be only the second time Star Wars has been in a World of Color show. https://dlnewstoday.com/2022/12/video-first-look-at-world-of-color-one-star-wars-scenes-confirmed/ Discussion Tage and Teresa – Disney Studios and Imagineering

Next spring, the Magic Happens parade will step off through Disneyland once again. World of Color – One will celebrate the storytelling legacy started by Walt Disney 100 years ago. The show will tell a story of how a single action creates a ripple that can grow into a wave of change. Wondrous Journeys will be the new Disneyland fireworks show that will have nods to all 60 Walt Disney Animation Studios films to date, and will include more state of the art projection effects on Main Street, it's a small world, and the Rivers of America. – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2022/09/disneyland-resort-announcements-from-d23-expo-2022-and-more/ The Disney Parks Blog did what Josh D'Amaro didn't do at the D23 Expo last week – they gave us some information on the Magic Bands coming to Disneyland! No exact date was mentioned, but they did confirm that Magic Bands should be at the resort for guests this fall. The Magic Bands will allow guests to get into the parks, redeem Lightning Lane reservations, open Disney Resort Hotel room doors, buy merchandise, link PhotoPass photos, and more. Some of the flashier features include glowing with the nighttime entertainment and adding the ability to play games in the park. – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2022/09/magicband-features-and-experiences-revealed-for-disneyland-resort-coming-this-fall/ One of the announcements from the D23 Expo last weekend was the new name of the hotel, formerly known as the Paradise Pier Hotel. The Pixar Place Hotel will be the name when the refurbishment is complete. No date on that yet. A Finding Nemo themed splash pad will be coming to the hotel, along with the Southern California team from Great Maple, which will run the restaurant on the first floor, along with other food and beverage locations at the hotel. – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2022/09/disneyland-resort-announcements-from-d23-expo-2022-and-more/ Princess and the Frog has come to New Orleans Square – long before the retheming of Splash Mountain! Eudora's Chic Boutique featuring Tiana's Gourmet Secrets opened this week and offers Princess and the Frog themed merchandise, cooking supplies, and Tiana's own spices and sauces. Imagineers designed the story of the shop to be owned by Tiana's mother, Eudora. The new shop is just one main space that is pretty small, with walls covered in artwork showing the lives and scenes of New Orleans and Tiana herself! – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/09/20/explore-disneys-new-princess-and-the-frog-themed-store-with-us-eudoras-chic-boutique/ Overnight guests at Disney Resort Hotels will have a special experience for Halloween this year. Each hotel will offer trick-or-treating, with a treat map for each hotel with locations handing out complimentary candy. Hotel guests are encouraged to sign up at the front desk of their Disney Resort Hotel. The dates for this are October 28th through 31st. The menu has not been updated. – https://www.micechat.com/333927-disneyland-update-halloween-treats-traffic-tricks/ Another patent has been posted that was requested by Disney. This time, it is for a glasses-free VR attraction experience. In basic terms, the new technology would use projections and reflections, much like the Pepper's Ghost effect that we have had in the Haunted Mansion for years now. Of course, just because a patent is filed doesn't mean that it will show up anywhere in the parks soon. – https://dlnewstoday.com/2022/09/disney-files-patent-for-glasses-free-vr-attraction/ Discussion Topic: Tage and Teresa's Trip to Disneyland and Oogie Boogie Bash Recap

News: The D23 expo is getting a new, immersive retail experience called the “Expo Marketplace.” The 27,000 foot space will include everything from limited-time merch to the first items celebrating 100 years of Disney. You'll find pins, t-shirts, hats, books, plush toys and so much more. Some of these spaces will require a virtual queue boarding pass. More details on a reservation system will come out later this summer and if you're not able to attend, some of these items will make it to the ShopDisney store. – https://d23.com/d23-expo-marketplace-2022/ There's some hope that magic key holders won't have to keep refreshing the availability calendar for days to open up. Disneyland Paris launched a waiting list for Magic Key holders. With the new option, Magic Key holders put themselves on a waiting list for any day that may appear unavailable. If the day opens up, those on top of the waiting list are automatically given a reservation for that day. This is currently only available at the Paris Park, but that's also where the Lightning Lane started before coming State-side, which definitely helps fuel some of the speculation. – https://www.ocregister.com/2022/06/15/will-disneyland-introduce-a-magic-key-reservation-waiting-list/ Guests that have seen the recently reopened World of Color and Fantasmic! nighttime entertainment may have noticed some updates. The floral displays, or silletas, are a celebration of flowers. Fittingly, they start with a massive display from Encanto's Isabella and move throughout the district. There will be plenty of locations where guests can dance the night away to all different decades of music. Photo ops will also be available, along with, of course, plenty of fun food and beverage options. – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2022/06/new-details-announced-for-the-first-ever-disneyland-after-dark-grad-nite-reunion-event/ Disneyland Paris celebrated its 30th anniversary back in April, and with it came a new nighttime spectacular that utilized drones. Disneyland is exploring ways to use drones in future spectaculars, but is still very much in the blue sky, or early planning stages. One of the challenges is the location of the park near neighborhoods and highways. Other massive drone shows take place in more rural areas like desserts. – https://www.ocregister.com/2022/06/10/disneyland-explores-ways-to-use-aerial-drones-in-nighttime-spectaculars/ This past Sunday, a favorite classic villain returned to Tomorrowland. Darth Vader is now meeting again the the Star Wars Launch Bay for a limited time. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/06/11/darth-vader-is-returning-to-disneyland-for-a-limited-time/ Not all is happily ever after at Snow White's Enchanted Wish at Disneyland. Most of the projections after the poison apple scene have not been working recently. This doesn't make the attraction un-rideable, but it does lose a lot of the magic of the re-imagined attraction. – https://www.micechat.com/323777-disneyland-update-poison-apples-summer-crowds-spider-fail/ Finally, there have been some progress happening at the entrance to Tomorrowland! However, these are not the changes that we had been promised when the old french fry rocks had been removed. No word on if this is temporary, or the new plan for the entrance. – https://www.micechat.com/323777-disneyland-update-poison-apples-summer-crowds-spider-fail/ A new dance party is happening nightly in Tomorrowland throughout the summer. Stitch's Interplanetary Beach Party Blast features some of your favorite characters in space suits performing groovy dance moves. It runs from 7pm-11pm nightly. – https://www.micechat.com/323777-disneyland-update-poison-apples-summer-crowds-spider-fail/ Fans of Buzz Lightyear and the upcoming Lightyear movie get excited! A new drink holder is coming to Disneyland based on the space ranger himself. The Lightyear gauntlet is very similar to the Thanos Infinity gauntlet that was for sale previously. The gauntlet should be available soon. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/06/09/youll-be-able-to-drink-out-of-buzz-lightyears-hand-in-disneyland-yes-you-read-that-right/ As we reported on previously, there is a new Paradise Pier hotel guest entrance to Disney California Adventure. The new pathway and entrance is now open for guests to use. Unlike the entrance to DCA from the Grand Californian, this entrance is exclusive to guests of the hotel, and your room key is required. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/06/11/news-disney-california-adventure-entrance-from-paradise-pier-hotel-now-open/ Last week, one of the performances of the Spider-Man stuntronic show didn't go exactly as planned. From video posted on Instagram from a guest at the show, it appeared that the stuntronic didn't release from the web line and came crashing down into the building where Spider-Man usually lands safely. The side of the building is designed to break away in the case of this type of malfunction, and by one of the shows later in the day, it looked like nothing had happened. – https://www.micechat.com/323777-disneyland-update-poison-apples-summer-crowds-spider-fail/ Discussion Topic: Nicolasa – Disneyana Fan Club – https://disneyanafanclub.weebly.com/

The return of the biggest nighttime spectacular is just a few days away as we record this episode. Most of the infrastructure has been updated and refurbished to get everything show ready, and the work on the pathways along the riverfront are wrapping up as well. We can't wait to see how the show looks after its long hibernation since COVID. – https://www.micechat.com/322309-disneyland-update-the-cost-of-magic-project-gateway/ A few episodes ago, we talked about the possible value of the Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge where guests can book a spot to have some goodies and watch the fireworks from the top section of the Star Wars Launch Bay. For $60, guests can come and go as they please from the lounge, and are treated to an entree, side, and dessert with unlimited assorted beverages. Food is ordered from the Galactic Grill upon check-in and then brought into the lounge by the guest. A badge and lanyard is also provided. Giant games are also on hand to keep everyone occupied. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/05/22/review-is-disneys-exclusive-tomorrowland-lounge-worth-the-we-found-out/ Guests who are seeking adventure and salty old pirates won't have to wait too much longer. The Pirates of the Caribbean attraction is not listed on the refurbishment calendar after July 1st, so it could open around that time! Disney has not announced an official date, and there are no dining reservations offered for the Blue Bayou for that time either, but with any luck guests will be celebrating the 4th of July with the swashbuckling pirates. – https://www.micechat.com/322309-disneyland-update-the-cost-of-magic-project-gateway/ Something that Avengers Campus has been missing since its opening last year is more shade and seating. Disney has listened and some covered tables and chairs have been installed next to the Avengers Headquarters. – https://dlnewstoday.com/2022/05/seating-installed-next-to-avengers-headquarters-at-avengers-campus-in-disney-california-adventure/ So this amazing movie came to Disney+ last week and the reviews have been pretty positive. Guests can now meet the stars from the movie at Disney California Adventure. Chip and Dale from the new Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers are appearing at the entrance to Hollywood Land, to the left of the Hyperion Theater for meet and greets. The crime fighting duo are dressed in their classic outfit from the TV show. – https://dlnewstoday.com/2022/05/chip-n-dale-meeting-guests-as-the-rescue-rangers-at-disney-california-adventure-to-celebrate-movie-premiere-on-disney/ We aren't going to cover this too much until things are finalized, but there is a change being proposed by Disney to its cast members to do away with the points system for attendance issues and move to an occurrence system. Very basically, this will make it easier for Disney to let go cast members with attendance issues and makes working at Disneyland less flexible for the cast members. We will keep an eye on this and let everyone know when there is an update. – https://www.micechat.com/322309-disneyland-update-the-cost-of-magic-project-gateway/ Discussion Topic: Disneyana – https://disneyanafanclub.weebly.com/we-are-back.html
