We’ll look at how things have changed since the election, what needs to be done and how companies navigate the visa application process in the weeks and months to come. It’s something that was a hot topic of debate under the Trump administration who posed strict regulations that caused companies a great deal of headaches in recent years, whether it was H1B visas for skilled workers, which made up 22% of all work related visas issued in 2019, or H2A visas for agricultural workers that made up around 24%. The result of lowering the amount of people who can get these documents has been long waiting lists and unfilled roles.
