In this episode, my guest is David Ramms. David is a popular vegan/animal liberation activist who I came across last year just around the time I decided to opt for a vegan lifestyle. I genuinely believe this podcast has a lot of important conversations that will interest many of you. So put your earplugs on and listen to this honest conversation. Enjoy!

Having taken complete charge of my mental health only recently, it was very important for me to talk about this subject with someone on my podcast. When my own family was going through huge turmoils of mental health conditions growing up, I just had no idea or understanding of why everything was unravelling the way it was. Now as a grown up, it all seems so obvious. Our mind is a muscle just like any other muscle in our body and needs constant conditioning and nurturing. But then why do we wait for our mental health to be at crossroads to finally be able to take charge of it? I had an absolute pleasure to have Monica Shepherd on my podcast to help understand mental health better. I love Monica and her undying love and spirit of helping people with their physical and mental health. As a practicing naturopath and someone who specialises in mental health, she uncovers the layers of mental health and how it reflects differently on each person. She delves deeper into the topics of nutrition, eating disorders and daily habits and how they can have a major impact on our mental health conditions. She also explains why we need to take charge of our mental health NOW and not wait to be at a crossroads to finally take steps to tackle it.
