The Searching for Political Identity podcast is a thought-provoking and engaging show hosted by Brian, a law student in San Diego. With his informative and unbiased approach, he aims to educate his listeners on various issues and initiatives without pushing his own opinions. The podcast covers current topics without any partisan nonsense, allowing the audience to form their own conclusions. Brian's delivery is excellent, making it easy to listen to him discuss critical race theory and other political/legal issues. This podcast brings a lot of value to the table and encourages much-needed discussions in today's world.
One of the best aspects of The Searching for Political Identity podcast is Brian's ability to maintain neutrality while discussing controversial topics. He walks through current issues of the day in a rather neutral way, which helps listeners understand different perspectives without feeling offended or pressured. He genuinely seeks understanding and encourages critical thinking rather than forcing his own opinions on his audience. His efforts to engage in useful conversations and create an open platform for dialogue are commendable.
However, one potential downside of this podcast is that Brian may struggle with taking criticism or responding well when others ask questions about his stances after being insulted. While he appreciates dissenting opinions on social media platforms like Twitter, he might face challenges when confronting them during the actual podcast episodes. This can potentially limit the scope of discussion, as it may discourage some listeners from sharing their opposing views or asking challenging questions.
In conclusion, The Searching for Political Identity podcast offers fascinating insights into various political and legal issues without bias or partisan agenda. Brian's style of walking through current topics neutrally allows listeners to learn and make their own judgments. Although there might be room for improvement in how criticism is handled, this podcast still provides valuable content that encourages intellectual exploration and understanding in today's complex political landscape. It is definitely worth tuning into for anyone seeking thoughtful discussions on important societal issues.

In this episode, I talked a little football, my favorite Super Bowl commercial, and the competing half time performances.

In this episode, I discussed - Too many podcasts?- Guest asked to reschedule- Left handed people- Bannon interviewing Epstein- The relationship between multiculturalism and the evolution of stereotypes - Guilt versus shame- Celebrating America's 250th birthday under Trump

I interviewed a great guest tonight, but I decided not to post the video because I don't want “all that smoke” with the powerful nation that he is directly accusing of genocide and trying to split from as a foreign minister (and previously the prime minister) of a government in exile. Instead, I did a 30-minute solo episode in which I talked about our conversation without getting specific. Does that make me a coward?

I'll be honest with you. I didn't do any preparation for this interview. I don't generally do much preparation, but this time I didn't have any idea what this conversation was going to be about. I suppose I knew that Mr. Angle hosts a podcast called The Philosophical Angle. I knew that because he emailed me a few weeks ago to say he enjoyed the conversation I had with my friend Brent Freeman recently, and pitch himself as a guest. I've been happily pumping out podcasts lately, and I shamefully didn't take any time, even a moment, in advance of this conversation to consider what we might discuss. It must be my lucky day, because we had what I think is one of the most productive conversations I've had in 5 years of podcasting. When I say productive, I mean in terms of helping me find and refine (we're basically at the "refine" stage at this point) my political identity. I had no idea he just wrote a book called, "The Nature of the Political Left & Right." This was so on point for me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

In this episode, I share some observations about the first few lectures in a psychology course I'm taking, and cover some other news stories along the way.

Chris Papst is an awarding winning reporter and the author of "Failure Factory: How Baltimore City Public Schools Deprive Taxpayers and Students of a Future."We had a great conversation. You can probably imagine what we talked about. I hope you find it as interesting as I did.

Do we really need a desctription, in this case?

Friend of the show Herby Kay is running for Congress! Let's see what he has to say about that and current events.

It was always going to come to this.

Random thoughts

Brian caught up with his friend Brent Freeman on X. Brent is the host of the Aiming Up Podcast.

Brian talks current events 1/9/25.

David Jones was one of 100 people in the United States of America to write the Republican Party Platform that Trump ran on in 2024.Charlie Kirk was a big fan of him. He's very much cut from the same cloth as Trump. He's on track to be the next governor of Maine, but he needs your help. It was an honor to chat with him about politics in America, current events, and his vision for Maine. I think you'll enjoy this conversation. We covered a lot of ground.

Topics covered:- Scott Adams- Venezuela- Looksmaxxing- Disclosure

At Arizona State University, Dr. Owen Anderson specializes in the philosophy of religion, natural theology, ethics, and the intersection of religion and public life. With a Ph.D. in Philosophy and dual master's degrees in Philosophy and Religious Studies, he has authored numerous influential works, including The Twelve Arguments and God and the Declaration of Independence. We had a great conversation this morning about our experiences with toxic leftist ideologies in academia, some contentious legal and intellectual battles he's fighting, and several current events, including the capture of Nicolas Maduro. We even briefly talked about “aliens” and UAPs.I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Today I talked about some random (but hopefully interesting) stuff at the beginning, then discussed Matt Walsh's recent appearance on Tucker Carlson and what it says about the political battle currently underway on the right. Happy New Year!

In this episode I give a quick recap on why I've been talking about aliens lately, discuss Ben Sasses' heartbreaking post about his terminal cancer diagnosis, and assess whether JD Vance is the right person to succeed Trump.

Topics covered include:- Favorite new artists- Bondi Beach- Trump's post about Rob Reiner- The slap heard 'round the world

Jon Stewart (not the comedian/political commentator) has had an interesting life. He's been a professional wrestler, politician, and businessman, as well as a highly-respected independent investigator in the UFO/UAP community, specializing in the 1997 Alien Interview case.He joined me today for a fascinating conversation about what he's learned throughout his career about the potential presence of higher-order non-human intelligent life on Earth. It was as wild, deep, scary, intriguing, and sobering as you might expect it to be.Yet, it was also oddly comforting.I hope you like it.

When I started my podcast "Searching for Political Identity" in 2021, I committed to hosting people from diverse backgrounds. I may have rebranded to The Brian Eskow Show after becoming a Trump supporter, but my goals are still the same: learn more about the world, become a better person, and make a positive impact.I say all that because you might find it odd that I hosted a Satanist today. All I can tell you is that it was a lovely conversation about philosophy, religion, politics, aliens, and psychology. I hope you find listening to it to be worthwhile.

What do Elon Musk, Erika Kirk, Aliens, and Abraham Lincoln have in common? They're all featured topics in this episode!

In the latest episode of my podcast, I laid out the various theories of what UAPs are, many of which involve various definitions of the ominous term "non-human intelligence" that we've all been hearing about so much lately, recalled a terrifying nightmare I had two weeks ago, and briefly reviewed the Louis C.K. show I was privileged enough to attend on Wednesday night. I wish I had remembered to "name names" in terms of who represents what theories in the current discourse, particularly with respect to the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis. I also wish I had made it clearer that at least one sitting Congressman thinks we have "alien" bases underground and in oceans. That said, I think I did a good job overall discussing the options. It's cliché to post a podcast episode and say, "I'd love to know what you think," but in this case, I would genuinely love to know which theory you think is correct. Sorry it was such a long episode. I'm a bit of a talker.

Lisa Ekman is the author of "Deprogramming Democrats & Uneducating the Elites: How I Escaped the Progressive Cult." I was happy to learn her story and get her opinion of the current political environment. That's pretty much what I do with every guest!I am so grateful that she joined me. As I think you'll glean from the conversation, Lisa and I aren't particularly partisan, we just value truth.

In this morning's podcast episode, I discussed the main takeaways from the documentary Age of Disclosure and pontificated on the implications. I also shared my thoughts on the joint press conference between Trump and Mamdani.

Teddy Pierce has a strong background in Western philosophy. He's the author of the riveting book, “Dethrone Davos: Save America.” It was my pleasure to host him for a conversation about traditional American culture, globalism, and the ideologies behind them. Some people are afraid to go deep on what's ailing America. Teddy isn't one of them. You may not agree with him, but I don't think you'll question his sincerity or integrity.

Jason Smith has been living in China for the last decade. He was kind enough to join me today to talk about Chinese culture, how America is perceived in China, and what, if anything, America can learn from China. We covered a wide range of topics. I hope you found the conversation as interesting as I did.

I hope this helps you understand the political dynamics on the right at the moment.

Just thought I'd do a quick review of who I am and what I'm doing.

It was an absolute pleasure hosting @BowTiedRebels last night. We got to know each other and chopped it up about politics. We're both Trump supporters, but look at things from slightly different angles. He's got more of a Marjorie Taylor Greene point of view. I'm the former Democrat who crossed over due to the culture wars. I learned a lot speaking with him, and had a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy our conversation.

I had a great time getting to know a new friend from X and shooting the sh*t with him about politics.I learned a lot about what I would call the "MGT perception" of Trump right now.I had a great time getting to know @BowTiedRebels and shooting the sh*t with him about politics. I learned a lot about what I would call the "MGT perception of Trump right now.” I think that's a fair way to categorize his views. It was very interesting.

Micah Erfan is one of the most intelligent, active, and well-respected young Democrats in politics. I had a good time getting to know him a bit and being grilled by him about virtually every issue under the sun. I conceded some points to him, but also did a lot of defending. Just because I'm a Trump supporter now doesn't mean I'm done talking to people from diverse backgrounds. If you're only talking to people who agree with you on everything, what's the point? I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.

In the latest episode of my podcast, I told some “funny” wedding stories and reflected on the experience I've had over the last 72 hours with antisemitism. Watch this if you want to understand critical race theory, why I shifted from left to right, and the Groyper mindset.

I'm home sick from work. You know what that means? A new podcast! Today, I talked about the No Kings protests, explored the definition of MAGA, compared Trump's AI poop video to the accusation that Rep. Hakeem Jeffries is a "reptilian," and summarized an article I read today on Luigi Mangioni. I hope you like it!

Attorney and author Dennis Brennan joined me today to explore the unexpected parallels between Donald Trump and Aaron Burr. It turned out to be a perfect conversation to have on “No Kings” day. His latest book, “D.C. Swamp Strikes Back: Aaron Burr, Donald Trump and Their Similar Battles: Victims Separated by Centuries: Bound by Opponents' Hatred” sounds like a great read.

Reflections on a nice call I got this morning, and a little more.

I give my take on Nick Fuentes based on seeing some of his clips and listening to his recent appearances on the Patrick Bet-David podcast and Dave Smith's "Part of the Problem."

I had a blast hosting four-time former California Assemblyman Mike Gatto this evening. It was an enlightening discussion on current events at the California and national level as well as the concept of political identity. It was by far one of the best conversations I've had in over four years of podcasting.Assemblyman Gatto's political future is bright and I look forward to following it.I'm deeply grateful for his time.

Topics discussed:- My bachelor party- More reflections on Charlie Kirk- The Jimmy Kimmel situation- Trump's rhetoric- Daniel Webster

Friend of the show Scott Bell joined me for a fascinating discussion about the economic undercurrents that dictate geopolitics. Let's just say, it helped me view Trump, MAGA, Putin, and Europe in a whole new light. Do I have absolute certainty that Scott's theory is correct? No, but he sure sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

My thoughts on the horrific event that occurred today.

Former educator turned lawyer Ryan Mullally joined me today for a discussion about Tim Kaine's recent comments on natural law, the argument against an American ethnostate, why Originalism is the best method of Constitutional interpretation, Trump's flaws, states' rights, and more. I couldn't have asked for a better way to inaugurate The Brian Eskow Show.

Topics covered:- My UFO sighting- Shucked- Wedding update- Sad chatbot story- Division in America- My post about Hillary- Male cheerleaders- Trump's cultural purge - Rabbi lessons about marriage- Gavin Newsom's strategy - John Quincy Adams

- Katie Miller's podcast- Howard Stern- Hunter Biden- The irony of Trump- JFK- Abundance Chapter 1- aliens

In S2E2, Brian explores his evolving political identity, grappling with Trump's leadership, the Sydney Sweeney controversy through a CRT lens, and the broader cultural tensions in America, while reflecting on personal milestones and the pursuit of liberty, justice, and truth.

It turns out, I'm not ready to let go of this platform. In this episode, I discussed my goals for season 2 as well as lessons I learned from a rabbi this week, South Park, the Epstein Files, and "Obama-gate".

It occurred to me last night that I never did an official last episode of Searching for Political Identity. That didn't seem right, so I recorded one this morning. Here it is. It's not the best video I've ever made, but I think I was as honest and reflective as it is possible to be at 6am.

Ryan Mullally and I have a few things in common. We both went to law school as adults, we both detest critical race theory, and we both feel that the Democratic Party no longer represents us.One of the differences we have is that I voted for Trump in November, while he did not — even though he ruled out voting for Harris before he ruled out voting for Trump.Another difference is that while I spend the majority of my free time watching movies and kissing my dog, he spends what little free time he has fiercely defending the application of neutral Constitutional principles in law through his writing and podcast appearances. We had a terrific conversation about the political realignment that is occurring in America and touched upon all the relevant current events of the last few years.Unfortunately, we recorded this three days before the Trump/Boasbert/Roberts drama unfolded. It's too bad because I would have loved to ask him about it. Nonetheless, I found his perspective on everything we talked about sobering and helpful. I'm going to need people like Ryan to keep me honest as I continue to navigate being a defender of The Constitution and a highly politicized new Trump supporter.

Are we headed toward a recession, and would it be so bad if we were?Is MAGA right about Ukraine? My friend Herby Kay, a finance expert and fluent Russian speaker, joined me last night to share his thoughts on those questions. We never got around to discussing Israel as we had intended.Maybe next time!

Shawn Farash is unquestionably the best Trump impersonator in the world. He's brilliant, hilarious, a keen political observer, and a dedicated activist. He's also very kind.It was an honor hosting him!

It was a joy to host Ira Livnat this evening to talk about politics and Jewish American identity. In my opening monologue, I reacted to some headlines and explained who I am for anyone who doesn't know my background. It was a great conversation!

John DePerno is a young conservative - unusually informed for a freshman in college. It was interesting to get his perspective on politics.
